A) I got confused by your similar avatars. >_> So sue me, I'm sick.
B) You're STILL bitching about what I'm going to do in my next post without regard to the weeeeee little fact that I haven't even made that post yet. Maybe you should be dealing with that when the cards are down ne?
You know what solves this? Quit your bitchin' and go post.

The dimensions for the height of the stands were never given, but it can be infered that if the spectator stands are legal in terms of the fighting area then they must be within the height limitations. I cannot say for certain how high, say, the highest level is when compared to the upper bound of the legal area.

The floor is at 0.
The wall dividing the arena and stands is 100 feet high, so we can assume that the stands start at 100 feet and slope upwards.
The ring out line is at 300 feet, which gives us 200 feet of 'leeway' before seats are grinding into a makeshift ceiling.
As is the custom with stadiums these days, there is an overhang above the seats to keep bad weather off, so we can assume that there is one here (at the 300 foot line?). Since you don't really want to allow people anywhere near your ceilings in an actual stadium/coliseum environment, we'll go with the stands stopping at 200 feet, with an extra 100 feet of distance between them and our roof.

Vahn Kyonuske I'll be sticking the bloody stump into the jar afterwards until a cookie sticks. I'd propose double-sided tape. It sticks better than blood.

I calls 'em as I sees 'em.
I've sort of been picturing it as sort of an archaic gladitorial type sandstone construction with a domed ceiling over the stands and a skylight the size of the pit in the center. Though that's just my interpretation of it.
On a side note:
Epic free-for-all?

Jans Viper You know what solves this? Quit your bitchin' and go post. Point out where I'm bitching. And don't try to ******** rush me along when it was your slow a** that made me wait ages in the first place. Your lucky I even had the decency to let the fight go on. As I pointed out before, I came back from my bus trip to Canada last night, a 17 hour ride-- so shut the ******** up and I'll post when I damn well ready to.
