HeliosConverse hilaroma HeliosConverse Is anyone else having login issues? I found a workaround for Luna by using Luna's user ID number, but what the hell is going on? When I poked into Q&A, it seems like a LOT of users are having the same problems. And a lot of the accounts seem to be 03 and 04 accounts (although Helios is from October 04). I was a little freaked out when I couldn't log in. OK, I was REALLY freaked out, thinking Luna had somehow gotten hacked. I re-checked this account as well as all of my mules (including an '03 and '04 account) and I didn't have any problems. That's weird...I wonder what's going on. =/ I'm not done checking all my mules, but I found the same problem on my Sano mule, and I know there's NOTHING expensive on him. Also, did something change with the guild? I tried to respond with Yoko, but it said I couldn't reply to the topic. I thought anyone could post, regardless of what account you were on (Helios and Luna are my only accounts that are actual members of the AG). Thank goodness there's a workaround. It gives me hope that it's an issue with Gaia, and not hackers. it looks like someone changed the guild from public to private.

Cynder MALA! *snuffle* How've you been? surprised I'll just say I'm better as of recently. Keeping very busy, though, but that's good.
Taking driving lessons. Had three so far this week, which puts me about halfway through the course. D: I might be taking the drive test in a little over a week at this rate.
Also, woot for not-too-lateness in Atemu-congratulations. biggrin And howdy to Hei! It's been ages! You seem to be doing well? :3 heart Good to see you back in the guild.

It is midnight and I am listening to Atom Heart Mother and attempting to write, for my best friend, a story about a pirate in an alternate universe where he is a rich schoolboy dressed in a maid uniform trying to bake a cake.
Therefore, a proposition: I am the greatest person ever. Wilt thou oppose me?
carry on, love, don't mind the crazies

Rae x Rae Well, we're not dating anymore, but I met Zero on Gaia, and we tend to have a great time together.... and then there's Kin, who I adore so freaking much. Online relationships can lead to some great things just because a lot of people feel free-er online than in real life, which can lead to a more open starting relationship, and I honestly think I prefer them...
Though Gaia's message at the end was a little iffy. I'm assuming they didn't mean it as "Go and date random people from the internet!" but it came off that way.... Site Feedback is being a whiny little b***h about it though. I agree, online relationships can be REALLY dangerous, especially if you're not careful, and then even sometimes if you are... but the world is a dangerous place too. There are more *****, rapists, and murderers offline than there are online - that's just common sense (unless every one has a computer and internet access, but I doubt it). I agree there should be more attention paid to being careful online if we're talking about Gaia, but acting like it's perfectly safe anywhere offline isn't the greatest idea either. So..am I the only one that thought that the people shown in a picture don't seem like they belong together? The girl looks like she's all miss popular while the guy seems kind of nerdy. Not that it's a bad thing, but..that's just what I immediately thought. sweatdrop
While I agree about things typically being more open online when it comes to feelings (depends on the person really though), I don't know about online relationships in general anymore. I know some of them work out, but the long distance kills me and because I'm lame, that's all I've ever had was online relationships (some of them I met though). Online relationships ruined relationships as a whole for me, and truthfully..I don't know if I'll ever be with someone because of trust issues and such. It sucks but..I don't know.

I liked the images I saw of the Medicine Seller from Mononoke. Then I saw four cosplays of it, one was a skit that gave summary of the plot so I figured it was my style: main characters fights folklore-ish horror, most of episodes focusing on the characters it effects rather than the main character himself. So, I watched the first two episodes.
It's very stylish, lots of in-your-face symbols everywhere, for better or for worse. The first two-parter I watched, I wondered if I was missing something cultural after the first episode, but it all came together in the end. I'm not sure if this is good or bad. Sometimes it's overkill and sometimes it packs the right punch.
The all knowing main character 'hmphs' and smiles to himself a bit too much, but maybe he'll calm down once the anime has decided it doesn't need to show it is cool anymore. It's the first arc problem to a lot of series like this.
The art is... well, the painted aspects (like murals on walls) are lovely. The rest, including the characters themselves remind me of Aeon Flux and other MTV shows, both in animation and art. Something about the flat drawing of the eyes and the exaggerated expressions leads to this. There's no shading, the backgrounds are just as bright, so often the illusion of depth is lost. To make up for it, they often have this washi paper texture over everything. It does make it seem less cheap, but it still seems cheap.

Rae x Rae Joasis Hulk SMASH! Rip and tear! scream scream scream
*Foams at mouth*
Tonight, I watch the Hulk. I normally hate premiers, but what the hell. If I survive the night, I'll let you know how it went. <3 Definitely let us know how it is! Zero and I have free tickets to the theater down the street and that's what we thought we'd see whee Speaking of Hulk..there were those big hands that you bang together to make sound at one of the many rummage sales my friends and I went to today. Lol..naturally I had to try it.
