3.14 Yay. My brother and I are planning a trip to Mitsuwa when I get back to Illinois. I love that place.
We always end up spending $30+ on candies, or whatever weird Japanese food we can find. Then always surprising somebody with bubble tea. xp D: Looks fun!

It's nice that Gaia wants to hype the neat community news... but announcements every day? Can't they just add it to the weekly news... or have a spotlight similar to the mail/profile thing?

Yeah, I don't like the commercial every day. This isn't exactly commercial though, but it's still annoying at this pace, especially if the second one is 'look! dating!'

I actually know someone who met someone else off of gaia. But their relationship is not really very sound 0_0

I don't really mind the announcements, they only take up like a minute max per each one, though I would like them to be restricted to one per day at the most.. it's starting to feel a bit like it does having MSNBC News as a homepage: there's about 30 "breaking news" headlines per day.

It would be interesting to see a weekly Gaia newspaper, with half user submitted stories. I can't imagine going through all those stories though, picking the good ones, fact-checking, etc.

Well, we're not dating anymore, but I met Zero on Gaia, and we tend to have a great time together.... and then there's Kin, who I adore so freaking much. Online relationships can lead to some great things just because a lot of people feel free-er online than in real life, which can lead to a more open starting relationship, and I honestly think I prefer them...
Though Gaia's message at the end was a little iffy. I'm assuming they didn't mean it as "Go and date random people from the internet!" but it came off that way.... Site Feedback is being a whiny little b***h about it though. I agree, online relationships can be REALLY dangerous, especially if you're not careful, and then even sometimes if you are... but the world is a dangerous place too. There are more *****, rapists, and murderers offline than there are online - that's just common sense (unless every one has a computer and internet access, but I doubt it). I agree there should be more attention paid to being careful online if we're talking about Gaia, but acting like it's perfectly safe anywhere offline isn't the greatest idea either.

Tonight, I watch the Hulk. I normally hate premiers, but what the hell. If I survive the night, I'll let you know how it went. <3

Gaians need to stop taking Gaia seriously. That's all I can say.
