Rae x Rae Yoko Gurren-Dan Rae x Rae TweedleKeys Rae x Rae This has not been my week gonk When I'm not having bitchy women going after me, I'm having crazy misunderstandings/miscommunication/wrong impressions all over the place (several times, actually, though thankfully only one can be considered partly my fault, and even then at least it's a small part).
The sucky thing is that Zero and I would be having a great time this week if there weren't people causing drama about the most ridiculous things (minus the one instance, in which it was not necessarily ridiculous on the part of the person who was mad, but the person who started the whole thing... ) x__x That bites. Hopefully it will die down soon... you could always just take a break too from the sources. For some of the issues, that's possible and I've managed to. Others just kind of keep sneaking back somehow. *hugs for Rae Rae* whee Yoko-hugs are HAWT.
(Thanks you guys heart I needed me some love pretty bad about now ;-; )It's all that raging hot blood... wink

Mom and I have the best PM conversations EVER. rose_dagron Skizzors rose_dagron I take it you are home, safe & secure in our humble abode? Nope, I stole a computer from school. I'm currently on an airplane heading to Vancouver, stealing wi-fi from an albatross that's flying alongside us, that swallowed a router. Ooooooh! That Lone Gunmen guy I like, Tom Braidwood (Frohike), lives in Vancouver. Tell him I said HI. Skizzors rose_dagron < rant on >OMFG!!! You dad called. He is freaking out because I am still at work and you are HOME ALL ALONE!!! Also, he is freaking out because I did not call him to let him know that YOU WERE HOME! Jesus! Can't that man go somewheres for 24 hours and NOT worry about where you are and who is / isn't with you? < rant off > Don't tell him about the rave!! rose_dagron The maple sugar candies are under my bed. Leave my coconut alone please. (am I a bad Mom?? I leave you home alone and feed you sugar) Do you feel neglected??? I heart you

He would scatter food around his room, like boxes of cereal and celery, and then he and the rats would both find it and eat it when hungry, whether or not he was at home. They were some really well-loved rats!

Yesterday was a housemate's birthday. I kind of lazed out and made chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. It's not really my thing but the guys seemed to like it.
I was able to measure well enough to get the layers pretty flat, and I thought I greased the pans well, but when I turned them over, the bottom layer stayed on the pan, as well as a bit of the center bottom (which I just scraped off an put back on the cake... yay, hiding under frosting.) I'm not sure where I went wrong there... not cooling long enough maybe?
Another thing my housemate likes is carrot cake. That is -seriously- not my thing but I would be interested in making it some time since he's gracious enough to do the bulk of the grocery shopping. Anyone have a good recipe they would like to share?
Also, I'm going to a potluck/BBQ in the next couple weeks. I have no idea what to make.

I was sent a bunch of prenatal exam stickers by my insurance company. Are they trying to tell me something that I'm not aware of?

TweedleKeys Yesterday was a housemate's birthday. I kind of lazed out and made chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. It's not really my thing but the guys seemed to like it. I need to start thinking about the birthday cake I'm making for Muffin/Psy since he's getting here like, two days after his birthday.
We're probably going to force him to out to dinner with us the second night he's here, but since he'd be travelling all the first day, I figured it'd just be nice to surprise him with a birthday cake and not drag him out all over the place.
I need to figure out how I'm doing the frosting though. For some reason, doing cakes plain bothers me. Actually, so does making them from scratch. I like to mess around with premade mixes and frostings because it's the best way for me to keep the recipe constant enough to play around with every time and decide on my favorite edits whee

I haven't tried one myself but they always look pretty interesting.

Akimbo I was sent a bunch of prenatal exam stickers by my insurance company. Are they trying to tell me something that I'm not aware of? I heard it through the grapevine that insurance companies/government were treating all women of a certain age as 'pre-pregnant:' http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/05/15/AR2006051500875.html I once bought a vacuum cleaner on Amazon. After that, all the recommendations it gave me for a while were for baby-related items.
