Skizzors Is it bad that I kind of want this thing just because of its name? xd Man, I was just talking to someone about moogs the other day! Jesse from Motion City Soundtrack plays one, maybe the minimoog, but I'm not sure. All I know is... MOOG HANDSTANDS ARE AWESOME.

Joasis Kinetic Dream LunaInverse I was reading about that. And I also found out there was a third season of Reboot that I never got to watch! crying crying I loved season 3 Reboot. With Glitch Bob. It's too bad that no one ever puts the series out on DVD xd crying Cons usually have nicely packaged bootleg sets. I saw this kick a** Batman Beyond for like 40 bucks and Beavis and Butthead WITH the music video commentaries for like 50. They might have Reboot! biggrin talk2hand The con I went to has a no bootleg rule.

The AMC places its shame on you for such a suggestion! Shame... Shaaaaaaaaame...
[/lolserious] For some reason I can rarely even find bootlegs for the shows I love that weren't released on DVD. ;-; *Walks around naked with the stone of shame*
I's sorry... just the pirate in me, I guess. emo
Bootlegs are so easy to find if you know where to look. Lol, I used to go to this laundromat and every time I went there was this guy that had a backpack of bootleg DVDs from movies at the theater. xp

Joasis Technologist Tony Stark This is how I won Civil War. Forcing S.H.I.E.L.D. and Spiderman to wear red and gold suits? I meant instigating the Rae/Kin exchange, but that too. xd

Streamjumper Certainly. I'm mainly sick of the current level of "phantom drama". Because I dare to get annoyed at someone who just doesn't ******** learn, several of you get shunned. The fact that someone whose back I've had multiple times over the years lied to my face, and poorly so, doesn't help either. So in the interests of the Guild as a whole I either have the option of hunting down and kissing the collective asses of a bunch of people who are in current refusal to be anywhere near me or remove myself from the fold. And since my only real reason for remaining on Gaia these days is the AG, that renders logging on mostly pointless. Amazingly, despite being the biggest a*****e in the history of assholes, I'm pretty sure I've never made anyone choose between being my friend and someone else's. And I'd rather keep it that way, even passively. At least if I leave, I'm not going to issue the lot of you a blanket slap to the face by accusing you all of being greedy item-grubbers on my way out. I guess if you're Jay-Z, that makes me Kanye West. Why that is important I do not know. It feels significant.
I guess what I'm saying is that Gator is the boss and I'm the bombast.
Stream, you've been a fantastic and positive influence in my life for somewhere around three years now, and losing you from the AG would be a true blow. I hope that if you do decide to leave Gaia that you'll make yourself available through other means, because I certainly don't want to see you disappear from my life.
As for the people driving this divisive bullshit, well y'all just make me sick.

Not that I'm advocating buying bootlegs or anything. Much as I would love to have the entire Reboot series on DVD, I don't know if I could buy a bootleg set.

Oh okay. *shrug* Well, with everything I saw at the con I went to, there was nothing bootleg. But at the same time, AD is a lot smaller than anything out in California, and probably on the east coast too. emo

But at the same time, AD is a lot smaller than anything out in California, and probably on the east coast too. emo From what I've seen, cons are pretty good at at least catching the bootleg anime DVDs and CDs, it's a bit harder on the other goods (artbooks, plushies, other toys.) Some staffers might have trouble with non-anime goods like US series on DVD though because that's something they know less about. It also might depend what kind of merchandisers the particular con is able to get in their dealer's room. I've rarely seen people diving too much into the US cartoons at anime cons I go to (they branch out into loli fashion and game stuff more), but other more comic-y ones tend to have that. Actually, I've found more of that kind of thing going on at small cons when it's hard to fill the dealer's room, so kudos to AD for keeping it clean. I sent people around regularly at my event and pretty much just found those really obvious bootleg posters or scrolls.
