Seraphim Call 3.14
My GPA is 4.0. cool
...I've only had two classes though. sweatdrop *edits your GPA to be 3.14* scream I'm probably not going to be going to any cons other than Fanime soon. :< It's relatively near me and I'm probably going to just get a hotel room next year though. The only draw for me to go to cons is to buy stuff you can't find anywhere else (gachapon and figures heart ) and for meeting online friends. 4laugh
Then you could hang out with us again!

I don't think that the Marriott will let you make a reservation this early, for next year. I'd wait until the website is put up. The rooms don't sell out for quite some time. The suites go pretty quickly though.

Maybe me and modsister will save up to go to a California convention next summer. We'll see. :]
Things are much better on my end. The wake was today and my mom and sister went for me. I've had so many emotional phone calls and conversations since Monday and it's been really exhausting. But things are finally calming down, it seems. The funeral is tomorrow morning, and then we'll all.. well.. move on.
If any of you know my modsister (Have Your Pi), give her lots of internet huggings. Plz.

Hrmm. My mom is apparently willing to hustle down to Arizona for Discworld-con in 09 if I want to go (unsure, as I have yet to finish more than one Discworld book) so.. I suppose Famine is not entirely outside the realm of possibility.. x:

Okay, now maybe I'm wrong here, but I could of SWORN that the plan for us was for everyone to meet at AX 08. This plan was made 4-3 years ago. WHEN DID WE CHANGE THIS PLAN?

Yeah, I took my kitty to a friend's girl friend's friend's place and he just cried all the time. So I put him in my pocket so he could sleep. He's only a kitten but my god, he doesn't shut up ever! D:
Heh, that night after that shindig I was forced to end our phone call for was over, we went to a supermarket and I sneaked the cat in under my hoodie. He was fine til the exact moment I passed the guard. He meowed loudly and I instinctively began coughing to cover the noise. Scratch is one bad kitty! mad heart
Now the rest of the stories need explanations.

We've been having a pretty fun time, and admittedly despite not being a fangirl, I'm all excited - I got to eat across from Lanzer at the staff dinner whee (Hila got to sit next to him too. It's just kind of cool xd [/is lame])
I'm having probably the second greatest time of my life - I'll share more when I get back and do a journal entry with pictures.
I'll backlog and shizz when I get back to L.A. I miss you guys (because I'm rarely away from the internet for several days in a row)and hope you're all having a fantastic weekend!! heart Seriously, next time, come right on in. We don't mind. Like I kept telling the AGers, you're with me, or Zelo, or Bobo, or so on. We're cool with that.

So, I'm working on a birthday present for Katrina. She told me she wanted something that reminds her of me. Since she has the habit of taking my favorite hats, I figure I'd make her one. So I went out and bought a black Yankees cap to be my canvas. The theme for the project is Michelle Phieffer's costume from Batman Returns. Here it is half way through:
The front and bill are going to be the most ambitious part, and I still need to get some supplies for it, but that should give you a pretty good indication of what it is. wink
