Danni let out what came perilously close to a growl at the mention of her damned professor, and a sadistic smile twisted her lips. "Yes...God yes...Shwo and tell time, Night. Give me the spell." She said, her mood suddenly improving as she let out a laugh that could only be considered mad-scientist like. "Scary..." Cook muttered, and whacked her side the head with his spatula.
She quickly gathered herself together again, clearing her throat and letting her lips smooth back into a thin line again. "Right. Sorry. That guy brings out the worst in me." She muttered, not thinking she'd like to know how her report card grade would come out in that particular class. Not that she actually cared, but Cook might, and she didn't want to disappoint him. It was the only reason she'd restrained herself from turning the damned man into a toad and tossing him into the nearest swamp. But, oh, the thought was tempting.

"All in due time Danni, Tonight while the good professor sleeps I'll do it" Night smiled throwing fries out to the front. "All I have to do Is get to him while he's asleep and it will be easy pickings" He chuckled before putting the rest of the fries out.
"Sounds fun Night, I'm out!' Chris walked out of the kitchen grabbing some fries then noticing a new girl in the corner. "Huh not bad looking." He chuckled to himself before walking outside. He looked around before darting out toward the city.

In a gushing pillar of water, he was behind the dragon. The strange shoulder guard was spawning tentacles from multiple places, all shooting out to devour the foe.

The dragon rolled his eyes. Oh course. Never as easy as setting everything on fire. In pain, and gasping a bit from being caught off guard, Ialo quickly calmed down as he growled, and lightning jumped to him. Using the lake as a conduit, the massive currents Ialo called forth caused the entire lake to and glow, traveling up the pillar. Ialo was much stronger now than he had been five years ago, and he was able to keep his emotions in check longer and focus in battle.

The tentacles began to react strangely as the manipulator began to convulse and the bloodshot eye began to flip open and close erratically. They began to develop what looked like large yellow blisters, all over them that quickly burst releasing large amounts of a harsh yellowish gas before the tentacles themselves withered and fell to the lake below.

Ialo flew upwards where the changing air currents would keep the gas from blowing in his direction. It was a most foul oder, and made his eyes water. Heaven forbid he inhale it, the dragon thought. Look down at Riser and the lake, Ialo had a smug grin.

((Interact with other characters, huh?...Damn...hmmm, who can I bug today?...Secret! You're the lucky winner!))
Cook sighed, then patted Danni on the back. "Now, now, go cool off. We've got things under control here. Go play with your friends." He urged, and Danni found herself pushed out of the kitchen and into the cafeteria. Sighing and running hands through her hair to smooth it down, Danni grabbed an apple off a cart, then scanned the room for someone who could tolerate her company.
Ah, there! Athena would do just fine. And she actually did consider this particular girl a friend, which was a bonus. Lucky, she thought to herself as she strolled over to the table, where Athena was busy savoring pasta. "Hey, mind if I sit here? Da kicked me out of the kitchen." She said, not bothering with a chair but just scooting up on the table and sitting facing the other girl.
"Haven't heard from you in a while. How's it been going?" She asked, wagging her finger and sending a cup of coffee flying across the room and into her hand. God it was hard to stay awake these days. "Coffee and apples, the breakfast, lunch, and dinner of champions." She said with a rueful grin, realizing she'd been living off these two things for the past few days. But then, she'd had more important things to do than sit and eat.

"Nope, not at all." Of course she didn't mind. Athena, probably because of her dog-ish heritage, liked to be around people. "It's been going great. I miss my stupid brothers--and sister--and our zillions of pets. ...Have I ever told you about what Apollo once did with Pellow?" Oh, boy. That was a story.
The poor hamster... Atalo hadn't forgiven Apollo for weeks.

"No, but it sounds interesting. What happened?" She asked, then yawned, quickly covering her mouth. "Sorry, sorry, that was rude, and totally not you. Sleep deprivation's a b*****d. Now, what's this about...Apeelow and Pollo?" She asked, a little mixed up with the names but otherwise following along.

Night looked at the girl in the corner oddly then looked at Cook "Hey cook you ever seen her before?" He pointed at the girl before looking towards her again. "something about her is familiar, but I can't place it."
The girl turned towards the door reaching for the handle before it burst open Causing her to fall back, and Chris to burst through with a shoulder of soda.
"Whoa Sorry! Didn't even see ya there, Here." He tossed a can at her which she caught before he jumped over the crowd of tables to Danni,and Athena dropping the soda on the table. "Hey you two, hows it going, Me?, I just went too town got tons of soda." he grabbed a Soda from one of the boxes, and chugging it in half a second. "Dame this stuff is good I've already topped two boxes."
"that hurt." The girl got up holding her head, before walking out of the cafeteria. "Wonder what his problem was." She asked herself blankly.

"Huh?" Cook asked, following Night's gaze to see the girl. "Uh...Nope, can't say I have? Why, she some ex-girlfriend of yours or something?" He asked jokingly, shredding lettuce as he spoke.
Meanwhile, Danni rolled her eyes at Chris. "You're going to go on a caffeine overload, boy. Don't blame me when you've got major stomach cramps later on." She said, smiling. She'd stick to her coffee, she thought, already having another cup float over since she'd finished her first.

Cuwen Lin was still in the gardens, not being able to sense Dymetri because he was far enough away. She was kneeling on the stone path in the garden that had more bushes and small trees in it than the others. They provided nice shade on a warmer day like this and allowed her skin some reprieve. She was kneeling, though, because she had seen a small yellow daffodil trying to bloom fully in the shade of a large bush. Lin was softly touching it, giving some of her energy to it, and softly talking encouragingly to it telepathically.
He escaped out of the darkness of the woods and checked her dorm again.
Hmm. Not there.
He began pacing back and forth nervously outside of her window. "Damn, where could she.."
A lightbulb popped in his head.
She loves nature. Of course she'd be in the gardens. He raced over to the area and his face brightened.
Yes, she was there.
He crept up slowly behind her.
What a good little elf she was. She was trying to help the daffodil grow. He decided to put his own power to action. Vampires were very odd creatures. They needed an immense amount of power to keep from destroying the plantlife around each step they took, but with just a little nudge, they were able to help it grow.
However, that took a great deal of power. Power that not only Dymetri acquired over the last hundred years, but power he was willing to spill to see Lin happy.
He slid his hands around her waist just after the daffodil bloomed.
"Hello, Beautiful."

Lin gasped as she saw the daffodil finally bloom beautifully. However, she hadn't done that. She hadn't used her powers yet to make it bloom that well.
She did sense Dymetri behind her, though, right before he wrapped his arms around her waist. She wrapped her arms around his and leaned back against him. She felt so safe and happy...
"Dymetri! Oh I am so happy to see you! And did you see this flower bloom so beautifully suddenly?!"
