Callista smiled as she exited the cave, finding several mortals to take from, hoping the extra boost would be enough to give her system the extra boost it needed.

She moved back into the cave, frowning when she saw Valzar leaning back on the bed. "Are you alright? I took too much again...didn't I..."

She quickly got him some broth. "You have to eat. I can't give you any blood to replace what I took, so you'll have to eat." She was already merging with his mind as she put the spoon full of broth up to his lips.

Valzar could do nothing but comply with her strong command. He was shocked when he soon realized the bowl was empty. "...How?"
