"Well, okay then." Ryka replied with a smile as they rounded the corners of Vermillion, until they came to the Gym. "Oh, yeah, you're Lt. Surge's daughter! Now I remember you saying that." Ryka said happily. "Your father is a great trainer. I really respect him." she said.
"Oh!" Ryka exclaimed, remembering something else. "Now I remember why I even came to Vermillion!" She pulled off her backpack, dug through it, and finally getting what she wanted, pulled out a ticket. "Bill gave this to me. It's a SS. Anne ticket. Mabye going onto the ship would help calm your nerves?"

Kael tripped slightly as he entered the bike shop. A man with deep brown hair and the most perfect teeth he had ever seen grabbed him and prevented him from falling.
"Hello their young sir, and welcome to Rydel's Bike Shop, home the mach, acro, and any other bike you can think of. Let me introduce myself...I'm Rydel.!"
Kale's mouth gaped open...
"Ummm, yeah I'd like for my bike to be tuned up.
"Oooooooooooooooooooookay then."
The man clapped his hands and a short fat guy with a piece of meat in his hands grabbed his bike from his backapck. He then ran into the back, surprsingly fast, despite his stature. There were several loud noises, a screech, three flashes of multicolored light, and the fat guy came out putting a bike seat in Kael's hands.
"On the house." "ERm...thanks."
Rydel grinned, Reaux here just updated this bike to an acro, so jumps, wheelies, and other tricks are much easier to perform. Thank you and have a nice day!" He ushered him out and closed the door behind him.
That was weird..." Chansey and Munchlax nodded.

"Ice Beam!" The boy shouted, smirking as he knew Dragon types Ice weakness. Thanks to Dragon Dance's boost of speed Aero had no problem dodgeing the attack then retreating back up into the sky. There's no way for him to reach Aero up there like Kasiya did. "Thunder Wave!" said Seth as another flash of lightining struck the Crawdaunt just as it happened with Machoke. Electricity crackled over the Pokemon as it became paralyzed.
The boy gritted his teeth. Hah! He feel for it again! All Aero has to do is hit him with a Slam. "Cradaunt Bubblebeam!" the boy shouted. The attack missed, but that was all in his plan. "Ice Beam Crawdaunt!" The Ice Beam struck the bubbles freezing them soild as they began to fall. The hardened bubbles struck Aero in several places dealing major damage.
A make shift Hail attack. That's clever. "Aero Twister!" Seth shouted. "Ice Beam, Bubblebeam combo Crawdaunt!" The boy countered. Twister hit it's mark not seeming to do much damage. The falling ice balls, however, did. "Again!" The boy said taking total advantage over Aero's weakness. "Counter with Twister!" Seth called out. As the ice balls began to fall Aero's Twister gathered them into the small tornado. The Twister then directed it's course to the Cradaunt. ''Dodge that Cradaunt!" The boy shouted knowing that the Pokemon could evade the attack.
Static crackled over the Crawdunt again reminding the boy about the parylsis. Crawdaunt took both attack, Aero's and his own. "Follow up with Slam!" Seth called. Aero lowered it's head aiming the horn at the distracted Crawdaunt. It then flew downwards, accelerating as it went. It disappered, the blue orb on it's tail flickering back into sight first as it rammed into the Crawdaunt. Dragon Dance does wonders. Seth smirked, which soon enough turned into a frown.
The Crawdaunt wasn't quite ready to give up yet as it fired an Ice Beam at Aero as it finished it's Slam attack. "It'll take more than a powered up Slam to finish my Crawdaunt!" the boy boasted. Aero took the worst of the attack at point balnk range. "Then how about two!" Seth called out as Dragonair turned and rammed into Crawdaunt once more. For a moment it lingered there almost a if it was out of the battle then opened it's eyes still willing to fight.
Seth eyes widened. How long is he going to push his Pokemon? It's going to faint with another attack. "Ice Beam!" they boy shouted again. "Counter with a Dragonbreath!" Seth called out the two Pokemon blew their attack at each other neither side even giving an inch. "Keep going Crawdaunt!" The boy shouted. It wasn't encouragement any longer, it was a demand. "Slam Aero!" Seth called out deciding to take the risk. Aero's will power will withstand that Ice Beam. Aero's attack suddenly stopped as it dove into the Ice Beam. It's speed picked up as the attck sapped away it's health. Slam hit it's mark. The Cradaunt stopped, still trying to hang on, but no longer could. It fainted, exhusted in a heap.
Seth recalled his Dragonair and walked over to the boy. The boy reluctly handed over the money as he recalled his Crawdaunt. "Hm, your lucky. All luck and no skill." they boy said as he turned away and began to walk off. "Treat your Pokemon better, and don't push them over thier limits." Seth said sharly. His voice was harsh and angry. The boy grunted, taking out his Mach bike and rode off. Until he was no longer in sight Seth pocketed the money, which after he counted was 7,150 dollars.
He walked off back to the Pokemon Center and handed his Pokeballs over to Nurse Joy. "Please take extra care of them." Seth asked, his voice almost a beg. "Don't worry I will," the nurse assured him. Seth took a seat on the couch and took out his Pokenav. He flipped through the numbers silently cursing as he had forgotten to register Kasiya's number. His eyes lit up as he remebered he snagged Ryka's number while she was asleep. He quickly dialed the number, hoping she would pick up. Afterall the two did leave together, Kasiya had to be with Ryka.

As Ryka dug throught her bag some more, she found a purple ribbon her Mom had packed for her, and decided to put it in her pocket. But suddenly, her Pokenav rang. She jumped as it started to ring, but finally reached down and struggled to pull it to her face. She quickly glanced at the name, which said Seth, before flipping it open to answer. "Hello?" She called into the reciever.

"Ryka! It's Seth. Is Kasiya there? I need to speak with her." Seth answered. He fumbled with the Pokenav as he spoke.

"Oh, hi Seth! Yeah, she's here, hold on, please." Ryka smiled as she spoke. She got back to her feet and handed the phone to Kasiya. "Here, Kassie, it's Seth." She said softly.

Seth waited almost impatiently. Having all that cash in his pocket didn't help either. Come on Kasiya. A sound signalling that his Pokemon were healed was chimed. Seth walked up to the counter greatful to have his Pokemon back. He thanked Nurse Joy several times and returned to his seat. It began to rain outside as he stepped outdoors. For a brief moment the thought of sending Sero out to stop the rain flickered in his mind. The thought was quickly pushed back as he decided to let his Pokemon rest. I hope Kasiya will hurry and answer. The rain continued to drench him, and he shivered.

Seth? Kasiya stared at the phone for a minute, wondering what he could want to talk to her for. Ryka held the phone out to her, and she took it, hesitating a moment before answering. "Hello?" she said quietly, twisting her hair around her finger in a nervous manner. They were standing in front of her house, and no lights were on inside at all. Kasiya desperately wanted to crawl into her own bed.

"Kasiya!" Seth nearly bluted out, "Where are you? You dashed off before I could catch up." Seth paused remembering to get to the point. "That trainer you battled, well I had challeneged him since he was mocking you. I've won your money back." God, I sound like such and idiot he thought miserbly. He was never shy around girls, but he never seemed to be able to talk with them unless they were actually there. He repeated his question. "Where are you? I need to give you your money back." He paused waiting for an answer.

Kasiya blinked, taking in what he'd just said. "You..you won my money back?" Ryka mirrored her awed expression, and she stammered a bit. "I-I'm in Vermilion City. I'm standing in front of my house, Ryka and I are going to spend the night here. You really didn't have to do that, you know. I lost fair and square, and the money was rightfully his. And since you beat him, it's now rightfully yours," she said, amazed at how fast she was talking.

"Are you sure?" he stammered. He decided to add a bit in. He really didn't want to keep the money. "The challenge was nice, and the whole point I battled him was to get your money back. Um, I'll get there as fast as possible." The rain continued to drench him. I wonder if it's raining over there. He left the Pokenav on just in case she wanted to reply.
He brushed some wet hair that was clinging to his face away and pulled out his bike. He rode with increasing speed, the slippery road didn't help with his safty issue. Twice he fell scarping his arms. The crimson blood dripped from his skin. "Damn." he muttered as he fell for the second time. Closer and closer he got to Vermillion. The rain seemed to cease.

Kasiya stared at her PokeNav after he'd hung up. "I don't care about the money," she said softly, looking up at the sky. It begain to rain, and hard, and she and Ryka waited outside, under the porch, for the trainer to arrive. At one point, Kasiya went inside and started heating up some water to make hot cocoa, pacing back and forth as she did so. Her feelings were mixed about Seth at the moment, the battle they'd had previously still was fresh in her mind. She also hoped he'd be able to find her house this late at night.

He continued to ride. He eventually reached into his ivory colored bag and grabbed Aero's Pokeball. As he did so his bike's front wheel got caught in a crack casing Seth to be thrown forwards. His previously scraped arm dripped fresh new blood. It began to rain again, the water caused the wound to sting. I need to get this bike fixed up.
After walking the rest of the way he made it to Vermillion. He turned around looking for a sight of a trainer. Close to the gym he spotted two figures. He quickly made his way over there. Hiding the wound on his arm with his wrist band.

Ryka sat on the porch with a worried look on her face. She glanced inside the house a few times, making sure Kasiya was alright. As it poured, she also hoped that Seth would make it to Vermillion okay.
As she waited, she eventually saw a figure slowly walking towards the gym. "Seth..?" She muttered as she strained to get a better look. It was Seth, his hair drooping over his face in the rain. "Seth!" Ryka called as she ran as fast as she could to him, trying not to slip. "Seth!" She called yet again. "Are you alright?" She asked, as her eyes inched towards the scratch on his arm, hidden by his wrist band. She saw blood dripping down from the band, and gasped.
