Streamjumper iBarty Streamjumper Ashram McDuck iBarty .......I don't know even know what to say to that.
*edit* Now I do.. It makes me feel bad for what I am. Way to go media. Because we all know that being skinny is the only way to be sexy, good looking or attractive to anyone. But I'm ******** out of luck because I'm big boned, so that means I'll never be able to get down to the weight I should be at for my height. So that means I'll always be overweight. Protip : Never, EVER, listen to these things. They are filled with fail and arrogance. I'd like to say that the assloads of media, entertainment, and sports personalities and their tons of gear (including their entourages) constantly zooming around probably generate as much (if not more) a problem than the average level of obesity. I'm all for getting one's weight under control for one's body type, but shaming people like this is bullshit. I'm getting my kneecapping club and taking the Hell Bus out for a spin. Who's coming? Also, Prince Caspian was goddamn awesome. If they ever make a Prince of Persia movie, the guy they got to play Caspian would be great with a bit darker skin. Oh, and Reep was goddamn awesome. I want to see this movie. I also want to try reading the books. I know I read part of, or the whole book of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe but that was in Elementary school so I don't remember a thing of it.Get the omnibus now, start reading, and don't come back until you're done. I type these words not out of spite, but out of love. You will understand my message when you have heeded mine words. Would this be a decent price for it? I haven't been able to find the Omnibus anywhere but ebay so far. There's the boxset otherwise with each separate book.

Peppermint Elf Ok. After thinking about this long and hard, I'm going to reply. Please know that this is difficult for me because it's no secret that I don't like you. I've waited a good hour before replying so that this is not something said in the heat of the moment. I honestly feel that you owe Keys an apology. If you've read Ash's post, he explains it best. You ripped into her for an error in your first reading of her post.
Keys is a good friend of mine. She didn't deserve that. I made no such error. In fact, I had a good laugh at the fact you thought I did. Your addition to this little skirmish, if in fact you could call it that, highlights precisely what is wrong with this mode of thinking that Streamjumper has elsewhere elucidated on. Ash does not necessarily explain it best, he explains it from a perspective more interested in harmony than credibility. It was a poor analogy and I am well within my rights to identify it as such. Just like I'm going to call you a hypocrite. You're wading into a discussion ostensibly about posting etiquette and perceived tension between posters and you begin by openly affirming your dislike of the person you're addressing. That, and Keys is most certainly able to respond for herself, your input does nothing productive whatsoever. Honestly, this whole thing is the biggest non-issue ever and has only become an issue because of some mad desire to make it one. The only reason I've even bothered to respond to any of this is that my integrity has been spuriously challenged twice.

FanFicGuru I like how there are 80 reviews for it and it has an average score of 2 out of 5. Seriously though, the media all needs to die and be replaced by something new. When FDR was president, they wouldn't allow press to take pictures of him while he was in his wheelchair or on crutches. You know what the press did? They respected that. They said "Ok, we're not going to go there." I'd be surprised if any members of the press would oblige that kind of request now. I mean, it's important to distinguish one person from the "media" as a whole...but once someone gets sucked in, its hard to get out of that void. Well to my mind, you go where the truth is. You also stick to your strongest arguments and cull the chaff. That story is really nothing but chaff. There's no independent causal link that can be made between obesity and pollution or global warming or whatever. If our culture and media didn't promote and encourage conspicuous consumption, obesity rates would not be where they're at, and neither would the pollution. You can't just stop two steps short of the real solution and call it a discovery. This is why I can only stand to get my news from blogrolls and my BBC news ticker.

3.14 Yes, Rae. I hope your Gramps feels better. heart
...I still need to send those candy bars out. gonk I would wake my a** up early tomorrow and go to the post office but Josh has my car (and he won't be home until tomorrow afternoon).
Maybe I am just going to have to suck it up and go to the post office near my work. Let us pray I do not get raped. xd No rush. If you send them any time in the next month though, I don't suppose you could send them to Zero's since if they're here while I'm gone, who knows where they'll be when I get back? (I found one of Nabs' packages in the garage after weeks gonk ) One of us would gladly paypal you any extra shipping.
But still, no rush. I'm just grateful 4laugh

iBarty Would this be a decent price for it? I haven't been able to find the Omnibus anywhere but ebay so far. There's the boxset otherwise with each separate book. I could never recommend the Chronicles of Narnia enough. However, I would like to point out an error in the Synopsis that particular site gave alongside the OMNIBUS: Quote: Intended for an adult audience WRONG[/LexLuthor]

But I'm ******** out of luck because I'm big boned, so that means I'll never be able to get down to the weight I should be at for my height. So that means I'll always be overweight. I'll ditto the frustration level of that. I'm not overweight because I'm big-boned - I'm overweight because I'm... well... fat. Of course, my BMI seems out of tune with my size, because I'm labeled clinically obese and I know the few people I've told this in real life, including my mother, have been absolutely shocked and looked me over again to say "... are you sure?".
But still, I'm the one in the dorm who's spending at least 30-60 minutes a day working out, both on the elliptical and weights, and instead of getting delivery from downtown, I'll take the hour to walk there and back, despite a knee condition which sometimes makes even walking painful. I'm careful about what I eat - while my roommate gets sides of french fries and then ice cream for dessert every night, I'll get a side of some sort of vegetable and then generally any dessert I have is fruit or unsweetened pudding.
I STILL can't lose weight. I don't know why, but I'm barely dropping anything. So I'm not going to be guilted about it while I'm down there working like crazy and watching everyone else eat whatever and how much they want, while the 130 pound girl down the hall orders Chinese and pizza in all the time, making the delivery guys drive up, while sitting on her a** to surf the internet. [/rawr mad ]
*snuggles up to Bart and starts singing "You're so Beautiful to Me" surprised *
