xd Be patient. We just wound that conversation to a halt. 3 way conversations of that nature are impossible in PMs.
If you want a fairly civil debate ended without any reason given, then expect that finishing points will be made.
Courtesy... two-way street... etc...
Still, it was something that could've been handled through PM.

2> We were asked to get it out of here with neither incredible urgency nor any actual reason. So we quickly wound it up... in a matter of roughly what, a single page or so consisting of one actual topical post from the two people who hadn't seen the message yet?

Hila simply politely asked. You chimed in after things wound down with a "me too!" post and snarky comment easily defeated by 10 seconds of considering the order of the posts made after Hila.
Yet only two people said anything... one with no actual reason, and you, in apparent refusal to let sleeping dogs lie.

Let me explain it again. We had our discussion, Hila posted asking us to take it elsewhere, I stopped posting as soon as I saw Hila's request. Then Spider came along, commented on a quote that amused him, added a simple thought, and moved on to talk about his current situation, effectively dropping the topic... probably right around where he saw Hila's comment. Two down. Then comes Ashram, clearly going through the backlog. So he naturally gets to my post before Hila's... and responds to a point I made in it... then he move on in his next post to the usual banter between me, Spider, and himself... dropping the discussion.
And the conversation was out of the guild.
And then you come along to chime in impatiently... AFTER THINGS ARE OVER.
What the ******** do you want? For us to go back through and delete every post on the damn topic? Ain't happening. I also intend to not pretend the conversation never happened... we were asked to not have the discussion here, not to pretend nothing was said.
And yet amazingly, scrolling back through a lot of that "stupid argument" that touched on elements of philosophy, religion, and grammar (and not in the usual "u mispeld dat wurd, noob!" way), things seemed both fairly intelligent and more or less on the same level of civility as every other damn time Spider, Ash, and myself take sides that aren't in alignment with each other.

What kind of browser doesn't let you scroll past two or three posts here or there?
Or does this mean that I can banish any conversations I don't want to see from the guild altogether? I'm not too fond of Pokemon, Super Smash Brothers, Harry Potter, and about a dozen other conversation topics that pop up here, but I don't even comment on them, let alone expect nobody to talk about em.
