They figure if it happened while you're staying there, it was your fault, and you're responsible.
Though in this case I'm ready to argue it, because the way the frame broke indicates weak wood more than anything, and I was also hurt when it fell.

Well..Bart is off to bed. I'm getting less than eight hours at this point, but it'll be more than yesterday so that's a good thing. Also, tomorrow I can take a nap because I work a later shift the day after at 5pm I think.

I woke up this morning with some major pain in my back gonk
They're going to have me fill out an accident report claiming them not liable. And I'm going to argue that there's no reason a bed should be falling apart like that, and until I know I won't be charged unreasonably, I'm not guaranteeing them anything.
