I'll play... sounds interesting, hee hee...
So guys, I have a question... check this out...
Kyra the Ginger and I had an idea to create a new RP guild based on an idea for a story I had my sophomore year of high school. The main focus of the story was vampires (no surprise there. I love the fanged people.) But there were also witches and weres and demons and all that. I created a history of the world deal as the prologue that was so in depth you could make a religion out of it. Main premise is that there are two worlds, the Olde World and the New World, which are actual seperate worlds, one was the original and the other was created by witches to save the humans from the evil forces of the magical realm. Every species of life evolved from vampires, some turned bad and started preying on humans, so the humans were sent away for their own protection. Then the barrier seperating the two worlds was breached.
Anyway, if we decide to do it, you have to be invited to join, and if you want to, you join, pick a race, and create your character, and then the story develops from there. Would anyone here be interested in that, or would it be a waste of gold to make?

We found out a few weeks ago that my grandmother had stage 3 breast cancer. (There's only 4 stages for those of you that don't know.) She had the breast removed today and the surgery went well, but until we get the results of the pathology report in a couple of days we won't know if the doctors got all of the cancerous cells. I hope that they did get them all because I doubt that she could survive months of chemotherapy.
Mia, I personally wouldn't join since RPs take so much time. If we manage to get a Marauders' RP started here I definitely won't have time. Nonetheless, I think that it's a great idea and you should certainly go for it!

I've had deaths occur when I was in my secondary school too, so I empathise, Suze. sad Once, we had four suicides in one school year, and one was a teachercoach.

Okay guys and gals, I don't know if any of you believe in god; but my grandfather needs prayers bad. As I placed in the absent thread I was gone for a few weeks. Well my grandpa has had trouble with mini strokes for a while now and now that I live in Cali with my husband I always pray to God for the safety and health of my family. Well while I went back home for those two weeks my grandpa fell in the bathroom and couldn't get up. My uncle, dad, and 17yr old cousin went to help my grandma get him up but he couldn't move his legs and couldn't really talk, so they had to call an ambulance. He was in the hospital for a few days and health wasn't doing to good. They talked about hospice, which is where they bring him home to my grandma and take care of him there until he dies in a few months. Well he was getting a little better when I left and was put into a nursing home for rehabilitation. I just ask that you keep him in prayers and that he continues to get better. It really hit my husband and I since it is our last Grandfather for both of us and we are really close to him. We are going home for Christmas because the doc said it would be a good idea to come say our goodbyes just in case, cause my husband leaves for a 6-9 month deployment in Jan. Sorry this is so long, but I am very emotional right now and don't have a shoulder to cry on cause my husband is out to sea.

Thank you Hermione and Min. We haven't got all the details so once I know, I'll pass it on.
Slytherin, I will so keep him in my prayers. My great-uncle died of that a year and a half ago. I am so sorry. If you need anything, feel free to PM me. I hope everything turns out okay. I am praying for you.

Slytherin, you can definitely count on my prayers. My grandmother is going through the same thing and I know how difficult it can be on the family. I wish you the best of luck and I hope everything turns out well.

Thank you guys so much. I really hope he gets better. I would like our future children, which we will be having hopefully soon, to know their only great-grandfather. Again thank you for putting him in your prayers. I've been very emotional about it.

Slytherin, of course he will be in my prayers! I know how it feels to loose someone close to you, then not have someone there to help you through it. My dad was deployed when my uncle died, and my mum and sister were away at a month thing. I was at school when I heard and they sent me home for a month to get over it. Your grandfather, you, and your husband will all be in my prayers.
