I usually study immediately prior to a test. (Like today, I woke up at 7 and crammed for a test at 10. :B ) If I've got a good idea of the material that usually works very well for me. Otherwise I go back the night prior and read the chapters, and occasionally my notes. (but I take horrible notes.) Tests are usually pretty easy for me, though, it's everything else that's hard to focus on.

Don't get too bent out of shape about multiple choice- just go through and answer the ones you know well right away, mark the ones you don't, then move on and come back to them later. A lot of times there are hints within other questions that will remind you of a rule that applies to one of the questions you weren't sure about. As long as you aren't a very slow test taker I'm pretty sure this is the most efficient way to go about that sort of thing. 3nodding

QUESTION:

Should I chop all my hair off?

I've had my hair long forever, I've been thinking about cutting it short - but I'm a big baby. Suggestions? Comments? Does this belong here?

I cut my hair Really short after having it long. It's kinda a matter of opinion. Its okay with me I did miss it for like a week but I like it better this way. It's easier to control.

Easier would be nice... I don't think I'd have to sweep as much either - my hair is every where. gonk

I recently cut about 8 inches off my hair. So now it's only about as long as yours. I did it for a couple reasons. I wanted to finally cut all the color of my hair (which you might think about wink ) and because I wanted some kind of change without going insane.

It's weird because while it's easier to maintain, I still miss it. I don't know that I could go much shorter than this without getting a really unconventional cut. I'd feel like I'd need some real bang for my buck. I've had a really short cut before and I HATED it. It was wrong for me, the shape of my head and my type of hair. I despised it. Yes, hair grows, but until it does you end up wearing a lot of hats.

So what does all this mean? Well...talk to your stylist. If you don't have one, find one. And find on in the funkiest place in town because I can guarantee they'll have more ideas and they'll be better ideas. Comes from "thinking outside the box." If you have thick hair, don't do layers. It sucks royally.
Think about what you want the haircut to do and what the shape you want is. And be aware that a good haircut is going to cost money. Get it done for $10 and well....you get what you pay for.

Think about an asymmetrical cut too. Those are pretty bitchin'

Well, I was hoping to redye my hair - or wait a little bit longer and cut it out too. I dunno yet.

I'm not really picky when it comes to my hair, mostly I want to be able to put it up because it is hot here and I'd start punching people in the throat if I couldn't put my hair up.

The problem with going to a stylist is that then my hair would be styled - and there is absolutely no way I could keep that up. I cannot style my hair, it is a talent competently beyond me. Even if they showed me how and I paid real close attention I know I don't have the ability. I don't even own a hair dryer and I can barely braid. So in all honesty a simple hair cut would be best, one I don't have to work at, not because I'm lazy but because I'd never ever be satisfied with what I could do with my hair.

I cut 6-10 inches of my hair off once a year and donate it to Locks of Love. If you do decide to go for the big chopola (and with hair as fine as mine is, it's a relief since it can't be styled), consider donating the hair to LoL. surprised

Well there are some shorter ones that you can get that will be easy with no work. i've had some though the problem with them is that i looked like a boy when I had it. sad

my bf at the time called me a dyke. (sense i had really long hair down the middle of my back then i realized later that i could spike it and had the same hair style as him.)

bobs are really easy though some of them don't need a hair dryer. just a large curly brush.

I have a large curly brush! surprised

I do like bobs, but I've got a super round/heart shaped face. Do bobs go well?

I KNOW NOTHING OF THIS STUFF! crying

I think you would look go with one. You have the high cheek bones for it. whee

honestly? It could go rather well but it depends on your facial structure... I learned what went with my face by using different styles. and i have no bangs. so i have no idea about styles with them. you have two options. 1 google hair styles or look in a lot of different books to find one you like. 2 spend a lot of money on a top of the line stylist and then go to someone cheaper. top of the line stylist will most likely want to give you a good due to make you come back. (don't tell them it's a one time deal. act like you want to keep up your hair.)

if you go top of the line they will ask you what you want and then work with you.... but there is always the chance that they'll mess up your hair.

Last time I went to a stylist they didn't really are what I wanted to do, they just kinda saw my head as a canvas. Which is what they are trained to do- but ended up paying for a cut I couldn't up keep. I'm hesitant to do that again, but I wanna change.

I think I will look up "Hair styles for facial features" or something, that's a good idea.

And I don't think I have cheek bones, I just have chubby cheeks! I like them - but they aren't very boney.
