... I have to get surgery. And apparently there might be something wrong. Nothing like, life-threatening. But I don't know. Depending, I might not be able to have kids ever.

Semi-personal girly stuff ahead: Well it's incomplete hymenal fenestration, so basically I can't even have sex or a pap or anything until I have surgery to get it removed. Which apparently is a more painful procedure than I'd have thought - they'd still have to put me to sleep, which scares me most because of some of the things that can happen - s**t like surgical fires resulting in death and all that.

It should be simple enough, but the doctor started talking about how (she doesn't know statistics so she couldn't even tell me if it's common or not) sometimes that can happen in conjunction with other issues, the least problematic of which was the possibility of two sets of ovaries and things like that, but apparently it can include any number of things.

I'm hoping the next doctor I see knows more about it, because now that I'm over being too upset, I'm pretty sure anything too serious is probably very, very uncommon and the more common issues still allow women to function reproductively, but I don't know anything about it and I can't seem to find any info online.

Damn...I hope everything will go alright. sad This sounds kind of scary but..we're here for you! *hugs* If it ends up to where you can't have kids ever, it's not the end of the world. How much do you have saved up? You could at least get an AFK. They don't inflate quite as fast.

Oh my god...I'm almost at the 800k mark. This is exciting for me! I got some of those bags..and they didn't hold much win for me. I was able to sell the items I got for good prices (except the 2nd gen. corallus egg which I'm not sure if I should keep (to hope prices go up), or just sell or even give it away being it's worth 4k or less now), but it was nothing I was hoping for really.

You don't even know what it is yet, so I'd try not to worry, especially on how it affects a guy... I'm sure he'd love you even if you couldn't bear his child. I mean, if you ended up with a girl, one of you couldn't contribute DNA to the child or carry the child. Anyway, considering what you've said so far about what's going on, I'd imagine that you'd still be able to. Good luck.

I'm thinking it's definitely a very low chance (because the problems she said that are most likely are still rare, and don't have negative effects on things like that), but I still would be upset if I couldn't, both for myself, and for relationships - for someone who wants to give birth to their child as well as raise it, it's a heavy commitment to know you'd never be able to have children with your wife. There are plenty of people out there who love the one they're with well enough to find ways around it, but there are also people who wouldn't be able to do it, and I don't think I can blame them when it comes to something that seems so incredibly difficult.

It's just VERY hard not to worry when she says things about how usually if there's a problem it's not too bad, but anything else will be dealt with later. gonk That's SO open-ended.
