3.14 RaeRae Rave UGH. By Tuesday I have to memorize 43 art pieces (location, time, medium, size, and meaning), have finished Moby d**k (I have half the book left because we take quizzes every class), write up four critiques for four workshop stories, and revise my art history paper.
By the end of next week I have to have read the entirety of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, write another paper, and write four critiques of Moby d**k.
... emo *sniffle* If you need any help with LoTR, I live with a LoTR fanatic. Seriously. He would love to help you. Nah, our class is mostly a discussion one, so it's not like I have to be well-learned in it.
And actually, seeing as I've already read all the the books, I'm thinking of just watching the movies as a reminder, because there's no way I can read them ALL by then. I figure anything nitpicky that I've forgotten that's not in the movies will be brought up in class. xd

3.14 RaeRae Rave ... I have to get surgery. And apparently there might be something wrong. Nothing like, life-threatening. But I don't know. Depending, I might not be able to have kids ever. I hope everything goes okay! May I ask what it is? emo Semi-personal girly stuff ahead: Well it's incomplete hymenal fenestration, so basically I can't even have sex or a pap or anything until I have surgery to get it removed. Which apparently is a more painful procedure than I'd have thought - they'd still have to put me to sleep, which scares me most because of some of the things that can happen - s**t like surgical fires resulting in death and all that.
It should be simple enough, but the doctor started talking about how (she doesn't know statistics so she couldn't even tell me if it's common or not) sometimes that can happen in conjunction with other issues, the least problematic of which was the possibility of two sets of ovaries and things like that, but apparently it can include any number of things.
I'm hoping the next doctor I see knows more about it, because now that I'm over being too upset, I'm pretty sure anything too serious is probably very, very uncommon and the more common issues still allow women to function reproductively, but I don't know anything about it and I can't seem to find any info online.

I've been under like three or four times in the past few years and was fine. Anesthesiologists are very careful about that stuff cause they know you can sue the pants off them! If it's just with the hymen, then that shouldn't have to do with the ovaries, right? I guess you don't really know unless they do an MRI or when they get in there. Operations down there aren't the funnest. Bleh. A lot of times doctors scare you. Mine told me that I might become epileptic within the next ten or so years (and that my tumor was really suspicious), but I think they're just saying things to help you prepare for the worst.

Well she said that sometimes this happens with the hymen for people who have double parts of reproductive organs and other problems like that. I'm not sure how it all works, but apparently there's some connection.

And then I was out, and then I was back when it was over. grossness ahead! The only terrible part was when I had a kidney stone removed and when I woke up, I had to go to the bathroom, adn they wouldn't let me... so I went anyway, and there was just a bit of blood down there since they went up through my ureter to get it out. But also, it wasn't a scheduled operation, it was more of an emergency thing. Hmmm... I'd just think that some doctor would have seen something before now if you had extra organs in you. On the bright side, if you do have them, you could sell them or something! Or keep them in a jar and freak people out.
