I like Rock Hard, I think. I'm too lazy to change clothes to see what the shoes look like. I'll probably pick one up when the prices drop.

RaeRae Rave LunaInverse RaeRae Rave So apparently one of my friends forgot to tell me he was diagnosed with malignant lymphoma over the summer. Wow...that's one hell of a thing to forget to tell someone. Maybe they didn't want you to worry about them?
He was talking last night and said something prefaced with "Because of the cancer..."
" eek Wait, cancer, wtf?"
"... I didn't tell you?"
"No!"
"Really? Huh."
And now I'm worried because of everything that just happened and all... That's ok, my Dad didn't find out I was engaged until like 3 months later. I felt like an a**. >_<

And now I'm worried because of everything that just happened and all... I hope that means he doesn't worry about it too much... I think that probably helps with the healing process. I know several people in their early 30s who've gotten cancer. At least one of them seemed embarrassed by it because they thought of it as an old person's disease and didn't really want to talk about it publicly. Maybe she just felt medical issues were a private thing or would gross people out. Another person made it sound like 'business as usual' to have to go get surgery for it. I don't know if she was trying to downplay it or not though, but I don't think she was especially worried about dire consequences though she was angsting over one of the long term side effects, though it didn't really affect her life plan. My good friend in her 30s probably has it, but she can't even get a biopsy yet because she's doing it in Sweden and the health care system takes forever... so it'll probably be another four months before they can even tell for sure. But the doctors say it probably is cancer. She's really downplaying it too though... just trying to do everything she wanted to before. I freaked out when I had my tumor, so I don't know how people can do it.

iBarty AzurePaleSky Getting tumors are scary... especially when the doctor tells you it's suspicious-looking. gonk Yeah, it was during my few months of hell! xd It was my last year in high school, all my friends (except Kimi, cause she's cool) suddenly stopped being my friend and ignored me, I was in the hospital with kidney stones during my finals and right before graduation, and then I found out that my "tendonitis" in my wrist was actually a tumor. The doctors knew it wasn't a normal fatty tumor, so that's why I was so worried. It turned out okay though! It just hurts when I lift heavy things with it... and people sometimes think I tried to kill myself because of my long gnarly scar on my wrist. It was so ironic. I had just been rejected from UCLA, and then I went there to have my surgery. Oh well, they did a good job! Except the stitching... I almost passed out from that when they took it out.

But it is also her FOURTH Gaiaversary! At least that's one thing to be happy about today. sweatdrop Perhaps I'll backlog later...
