The worst cramps I've had ended up having almost NOTHING to do with my periods. (but, oh s**t.. they still hurt like ******** gonk ) I usually have vague cramps every day of them except for the last one, but they're not even bad enough to bother taking anything. sweatdrop

Gundam 00 24 & 25:

Episode 24 was much closer to what I was expecting. Even though they pulled the classic "Let's develop some people right before we kill them," it was done well. (Though Licht's body is apparently made of stronger stuff than the bridge... and still it was pointless.)

It was awesome seeing Hallelujah rip lengthwise through another suit. I never get tired of him doing awesome stuff like that. In fat, they should just let Hallelujah do everything. Of course, with another eye injury he's supposedly 'dead' but we'll see if they bring him back or Allelujah grows a pair. I was impressed with the seiyuu's halfway voice there. Hair-back scene was pretty awesome.

The Marie thing was stupid, an unneeded angsty twist that's been played out far too many times.

Alejandro manages to have the first gold mobile suit that instead of seeming awesome just really felt like a cheap bootleg knock off... you know like those DVD players you can buy that come in tacky gold casing. It was funny to see Exia use all it swords on you Goemon style.

I'm upset about Graham... he was pretty likable, sympathetic and intelligent throughout... but here he just waits til the end of the mega battle to do something lame and spout stuff that makes no sense. Really? That was the climax there? That was truly a waste of a character. I guess that's why he gets an evil goatee.

Sarches: Eyeroll... why are you still alive?

Patrick: You too, wtf?

Lockon: No body, no promises. I figure you can learn how to shoot with your left eye in 2 years and 13 episodes.

Haro: You heard the lady, go deliver that letter.

Tieria: Speaking of bad hair... so looking at Ribbon's group, it appears connecting with Veda automatically makes you a girly man.

Fllay with a Gundam: Uh... what are you doing?

Chinese movie star: It will be quite a feat to work in why you're around to say lame things and not really do anything but seem important.

Louise & Saji: You guys too. Though it was cool when Louise lost a hand.

For a set of episodes that seemed like it killed off a lot of people, really few of them died, probably just the ill-developed parts of the bridge and Fllay's siblings. (I would like to see more of her, she's really crazy though and adds an interesting element... though she may have been beaten down to be sane.) Pretty much the only things that died were those that toys are made out of, not surprisingly. I'm always annoyed when people get death scenes when they are so totally not death, not even for the next five minutes. (Except maybe a certain person in S.cry.ed because it became really funny the third time in one episode.)

For now the world looks fine but based on almost everyone looking grim, I guess there's more going on under the scenes. I'm not really sure what the point is. They could have just ended it with all of the deaths and that would have been fine by me too.

You know...sometimes I really wish I had a better memory. I'm talking to this friend of mine and mentioned how I hadn't told my best friend about my mom's situation, and she asked who it was. Well, then I went into the story of how I met her...but I don't remember how it started. Like, I don't remember who approached who or what..and that makes me sad. I can't remember something great like that, but I can remember something I never want to think about. sad

The reason birth control is thought to lead to weight gain is because it can increase appetite, and create cravings...that the person gives into, and ends up gaining weight.

It's not a problem for everyone though, I don't have a problem with it. :3
I haven't had any weight gain, but god, I keep craving things like chocolate covered pickles.
... And avocado and cream cheese, ALL THE TIME. It's so bad xd

I think you're just totally insane...

I hear it comes with lacking a Y chromosome.
... You're one to talk xd heart

Actually, I am. See, I'm not "just totally insane", I'm an insane evil elder menace with a devious plan for world devastation.

Wow...that's one hell of a thing to forget to tell someone. Maybe they didn't want you to worry about them?

Wow...that's almost a year ago now. But yeah, I agree with Luna. It's a great possibility he didn't want you to worry. I think that's actually part of why I haven't told my best friend about my mom's situation. She has a lot of worries right now as it is, so I don't want to add to that. She's a busy person with all the jobs she has and college on top of that too. She's talked about how stressed she gets sometimes, so..I don't know. I'll tell her eventually, but it's like...if I can, I'll probably wait as long as I can because then she doesn't have that worry on her mind while she's at school.

Nope, apparently he just seriously forgot.
He was talking last night and said something prefaced with "Because of the cancer..."
" eek Wait, cancer, wtf?"
"... I didn't tell you?"
"No!"
"Really? Huh."

And now I'm worried because of everything that just happened and all...

I had a bit of extra time this morning so I decided not to postpone Soul Eater.

I was not disappointed. Of course, I knew coming in what genre it would likely be and therefore forgive its genre-ness and the initial episodes character stereotypes.

First off, I'm a total sucker for the look. The color scheme that they used, especially in the town at night (mmm cobblestones, lamps...) and Blair's house was rich and well chosen. I'm a big Halloween fan and that's about the mix of cutesy and macabre that hits the sweet spot.

Even the CG, while still stand out, seems more interesting to look at than jarring. Of course, I like the overall design of the world.

Maka is likable and I think it will be a long time before I get sick of 'cool poses with scythe,' which looks like it has a quota of 3 per episode.

Being a fan of both witch hats and pumpkins, I have to like Blair even though without those things I would probably just find her obnoxious. I usually don't like cat girls either. She has a rather cute look at the end too, both in shiny purple and directly after that.

The humor is light and fun... not really laugh out loud for me but not *groan* either. I would say it is above average for this type of series.

Death the Kid reminds me a bit of a Tao Ren from Shaman King... though occasionally he looks a bit like Saji Crossroad. There's someone else in there too but I can't put my finger on it. I suspect Black Star will bring the lulzs. I hope Tsubaki will be cool, the hint of her we've seen seems to indicate she will be.

At moments, it reminds me of another GanGan title I love, but it might be I'm just looking for that kind of thing. (Hello shot of someone standing on the pile of white bodies.) I'm sure this anime will do well and maybe that will mean a publisher I like will pick up the title. At least I hope that's what happens.

I hope that means he doesn't worry about it too much... I think that probably helps with the healing process.

I know several people in their early 30s who've gotten cancer. At least one of them seemed embarrassed by it because they thought of it as an old person's disease and didn't really want to talk about it publicly. Maybe she just felt medical issues were a private thing or would gross people out.

Another person made it sound like 'business as usual' to have to go get surgery for it. I don't know if she was trying to downplay it or not though, but I don't think she was especially worried about dire consequences though she was angsting over one of the long term side effects, though it didn't really affect her life plan.
