RaeRae Rave iBarty RaeRae Rave iBarty I'm excited to start watching Heroes because I missed most of the first season..and as for the pills I got...holy s**t they work!!!
Don't read unless you don't care about reading detailed things about periods: I decided to get some Midol because it was with my last period or the one before (could have been before that but I'm not sure) that I finally started to experience cramps for the first time. Well, I decided I don't want to deal with the pain anymore. I had this little embarrassing thing too, where uh..my a** hurts when I get my period, and I had no idea why (it'd like..hurt to sit down and sometimes I'd get these sharp pains there). Well, when I mentioned that to a friend of mine she thinks it's cramps being it's in the same area. I didn't know however, and I couldn't find anything online about it. Well...I decided to take some pills tonight (was going to wait until tomorrow) and damn, it must be cramps because my a** doesn't hurt anymore. sweatdrop Ever since I started Yaz as my birth control, I haven't had any problems, which is great because for the first two days I would get incredibly sick and be in so much pain that I couldn't even manage to go to school. It helps with cramps too? Interesting. I don't know that I'd want to try Yaz though..whenever I see the commercials it just makes me think it has so many damn side effects or seems more dangerous. I don't know. gonk Luna's right on both the side effects and doctor thing.
As far as Yaz, it helps with a lot of PMS symptoms and all, and since it shortens and lightens periods so well (like most birth control, but this is the only kind I've ever been on, so I can't compare, they aren't nearly as severe. Heck, it's barely noticeable any more. No pain, no moodiness, no bloating... it's freakin awesome. But for some reason my food cravings during PMS have gotten weirder and more intense since I started on it. I want shorter and lighter periods... But I don't think it'd make a difference if I took Yaz. With the other bc I've taken in the past, all it did was make it come on time every month. It was still as heavy as ever.

That could change with which type of birth control you're taking. Different ones affect you different ways. Things like Yaz are a bit different than other pills too because they don't use the exact same hormones.

Streamjumper RaeRae Rave Twistyd The reason birth control is thought to lead to weight gain is because it can increase appetite, and create cravings...that the person gives into, and ends up gaining weight.
It's not a problem for everyone though, I don't have a problem with it. :3 I haven't had any weight gain, but god, I keep craving things like chocolate covered pickles. ... And avocado and cream cheese, ALL THE TIME. It's so bad xd I think you're just totally insane... I hear it comes with lacking a Y chromosome. ... You're one to talk xd heart

Well, as much as I hate to let down my reputation... crying I just can't find anything wrong with food-desiring of any kind. Nothing wrong...
But we could probably amputate a leg just to be safe.

RaeRae Rave What kind of teacher asks the class who's ever seen someone die? Wouldn't you think maybe that'd be a really sensitive question?
@CB: GO GO GO! You can do eet mad I have a teacher who likes to ask really personal questions. But it usually ends up in a really good discussion. Many people have broken down and started to cry in that class. sweatdrop
