Celia walked along next to Baran quietly for a little while, enjoying the sceenery of the town at night. She glanced up at the starry sky, barely visible above the lights.
"Come on,"She said after a moment of thought, before taking Baran's hand and pulling him off towards the edge of town, where it was more dimly lit. From there, the stars were crystal clear.
From there, they could see a shooting star streak accross the sky. "Oh! Baran look! Make a wish!"She said excitedly. She had never actually seen a shooting star before.

"Huh... oh!" He caught a fleeting glimpse of the star before it disappeared. "Uh," he shut his eyes for a second, then opened them again. "Okay."
He turned to smile at her. "What did you wish for?"

Celia hadn't really been expecting to be asked, which showed in the fact that she turned a little red. Fortunately for her, it was dark out.
She started to think about how to best respond, and after a few short moments, she replied, "...you go first," with a small smile.

"Well," Baran shifted a little closer to her so that their hands brushed momentarily, "I was hoping that I'd be able to kiss you."
He turned his face to hers, looking at her expectantly. Everything had gone so well thus far, so maybe, if he was lucky...

Celia blushed crimson. She smiled a little, a combination of excitment, shock, and embarrasment. She had never been kissed, or kissed anyone before; she didn't know if she knew how to even do so properly!
The knight nodded, giving the okay, and then leaned in, softly kissed him on the lips.

Baran smiled into the kiss, his lips brushing her softer ones, and opened his mouth slightly, feeling her copy him. He increased the pressure minutely and brushed his tongue against the edge of her bottom lip, almost as though it was an accident.
Then he was leaning back, brown hair falling into his face, eyes playful and pleased. It was over and he swept his gaze over her blushing face, her lips still parted as though in surprise, her very wide eyes.

The Water Knight could hardly help but smile. She tugged on a loose bit of her hair a little, her eyes darting from the ground, and then back to his every so often.
For her first kiss, she had to admit: It was a pretty good one.
'Okay, okay, eneough of that,' Kahaku ran over behind her, and poked her on the leg, 'shouldn't you two be getting back?' The dragon was taking it upon himself to play chaperone.
"Kahaku!"Celia blushed even more. She had kinda forgotten he was there, and having an audience for her first kiss now seemed kind of...odd...However, that didn't make her enjoy the feeling she still had any less.

Baran glanced down at the dragon and reddened momentarily himself; he'd forgotten about Kahaku's prescence as well. At least the dragon had been polite enough to keep quiet up to that point.
"What's he say?"

"Well...I'll just say he's trying to be a tiny chaparone,"she said with a little shrug.
'Tiny? I'm this size for convenience, and you know it,'Kahaku replied a little indignantly.
She couldn't help but laugh a little. Celia paused for a second, and then very quietly said "um...that...was nice...it was actually...my first kiss." She had begun to regain her composure before saying that, but now the blush returned in full force.

Baran wasn't surprised by her confession, but had to admit to himself that it was still very nice to hear it. He thought he ought to look politely surprised intead of overly proud and arranged his features accordingly.
"Really?" He widened his eyes. "You were good," Baran added truthfully. "Uh... should we start heading back?"

Celia blushed again. He was being so nice, it was hard for her not to...
"I guess so, its getting kind of late, isn't it?"she replied, not really wanting the night to be over, but knowing both he and Kahaku were perfectly right...after all, she still had to finish talking to the new queen about the journal, and for that matter, had to finish going through the journal with Kahaku as well.
'Come on then, back to the castle,'said Kahaku, pushing her foreward a little with his rather small arms.

"Stupidity," Kushina said, her fingers drumming out a hard, cut-off staccato as she tried to keep the blush out of her voice; her face she wasn't worried about. She had good control over her face, at least when talking of something embarrassing after the fact.
"Stupidity, rudeness, total disregard for life and mind. Arrogance. Very easily angered," Kushina said sharply, studiously not thinking of what lenghts she'd had to go to "bring" Jett back. She wasn't sure what had possessed her, honestly. It was mortifying. So, instead, she quickly went through the most easily identifiable traits.
Oh. Sweet little thing... I'm so proud of you, that you dared to ask... Empress was almost crooning, in her mind, the thought laced with triumph. She knew shyness, and to the levels that Ana had it, she would most obviously rather have run away than dared ask. But she had. So she had one hand quickly and extremely lightly, no more than the breath of a faint breeze, brus over the top of Ana's head before Liozu leaned back in his seat on the swing, back to one of the chains and leaning one leg on the edge of the swing, while the other stretched out.
Using one arm wound around the chain that he was leaning against, Liozu lazily stretched out a hand to Ana before letting it rest on his thigh. Somehow, he'd managed a slight c**k of his hips that seemed vaguely "wrong" for a male. As if there was more hip there than it should be, even if there clearly was no more than the usual straight male body shape.
"I'd be honored if you would want to, Ana." Liozu smiled and the hand resting on his thigh slid further, tugging enough on the sweater he was wearing so the wide collar slipped over that shoulder. The shadows thrown on the tanned skin of his shoulder and part of his upper chest and collarbone, exposed by the slipping collar, suggested curves that shouldn't be there, and Liozu's eyes seemed more red than brown in the slivery moonlight.
"I'm happy you asked." His voice was warm though, and very soft, and in the darkness, maybe not as masculine as it might have seemed in the middle of the day.

Ana caught her eyes wandering the path traced for them, from Liozu's eyes to neck to exposed collar to hips and she swallowed slightly, feeling oddly light-headed. She had been aroused before, but this was more of an intoxication, almost as if she was being willed to desire. Her pupils felt narrow, incapable of seeing anything beyond his body, and she had to force herself to look away.
What if he saw? she asked herself fleetingly, and the jarr of the thought brought her back to the present.
Ana nodded, not saying anything, and opened her sketchbook, turning pages until she reached a blank one about a third of the way in. She slid from the swing to curl her legs under her in the grass, taking a pencil and carefully beginning to outline Liozu's jaw.
"And these symptoms first presented themselves tonight?" Aiketh asked, hoping desperately the question didn't sound like the one she had first intended to voice: and how many times have decisions been made under this influence?

Tilting his head back against the chain, Liozu smiled, throwing a glance over at Ana from the corner of his eye. This was even better than she'd thought... Especially since she'd caught Ana's eyes wandering, and while the body was all, disgustingly, wrong, Empress felt secure enough in this dark evening to let her power bleed through, and she was rather sure it was overlaying with an easily over-seen suggestion of femininity.
So this was going wonderfully, Empress thought as she sat still, allowing Ana to exercise her talent. What was left was in some way getting closer, or at least sounding out, the Queen-to-be. That shouldn't be too hard. And she had Ana to make her time worthwhile, in the interim.

Ana drew carefully, trying her hardest to focus her attention on the paper and not on the person before her. This became harder as the time went on and the body she was drawing took on a more defined form.
She distantly heard bells in the city around them announcing the hour, but they faded soon and she paid them no heed. It wasn't until they rang a second time that she sat up straight, staring around with a small exhalation of surprise.
"Oh," she looked over her shoulder at the street they had come down, then at Liozu still on the swing, then at her drawing, an expression of shock and horror spreading slowly over her face. "Oh," Ana repeated, her hand flying to her mouth, "I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to take so long," she tried to explain, leaping to her feet. "And now it's so late and we need to get back and we never got to do what you had planned..." She dropped suddenly into an apologetic bow, her hands pressing down the thin material of her dress over her legs and her brown hair flying over her face.
