Carolyn's nose twitched and she looked to Kasumi with a smile. Children. She had never really thought about having any, but she could see having kids with Kasumi. Funny how meeting the right person changed your view on life. Rosalyn chuckled, rolling her eyes slightly. She looked down at Sren-Ko thoughtfully. She didn't really know how to explain teasing the the little boy. "Teasing is...making fun of, but in a fun way." It was the best way she could explain it to him at the time. ~~~~~~ Amelia followed directly after Kyos, her hair blowing slightly over her shoulder. A small frown appeared on her face as she hesitated for a moment. She shook it of though and continued on. Constance was last to go into the building, well almost last. Nala trailed behind her, whiskers twitching. When the feline meowed she looked over her shoulder. "What is it girl?" She looked around, but didn't see anything. Although she did feel a little bit uneasy. ~~~~~~~ Cassandra laughed heartily, her spirits lifted higher than they had ever been before. "I could say the same about you." She pushed open the door to the kitchen to see the others. "Oh hello. Good morning."

Kasumi smirked slightly as she deliberately lobbed a strawberry with whipped cream at Carolyn.

Merrick exhaled as he made his way carefully up the stairs.
Lorcan smiled slightly before he shrugged slightly, not seeming to mind, although he did notice the toddler in Rosalyn's arms.

Kyos tilted his head slightly, thinking. He paused almost the same moment as Amelia, sensing something momentarily.Betsy paused near her apartment, frowning slightly before she winced slightly, feeling as if someone had poked her with a needle dipped in liquid nitrogen.

A rigid set of cuffs attached to a vertical bar and collar materialized around Constance's throat and went up her back, jerking her arms behind her back before she was suddenly jerked high into the sky as the dark tan skinned man flew straight upward, a golden aura flaring around him as a thin beam that coalesced into a chain of hard golden light from one hand as his black hair streamed down over his shoulders. He wore a black bodysuit with gold boots and wristbands.
Sren-Ko blinked before nodding as he was able to grasp that. He jerked slightly as a scream ripped through the air, His eyes shot to the window as he exhaled a low grunt.

Carolyn grinned, opening her mouth and catching the strawberry. She stopped, nearly choking on the fruit when a scream pierced through the air. At the same time Rosalyn doubled over and Cassandra moved forward quickly, grabbing the little boy before he could hit the floor. Rosalyn had just opened her mouth to say hello when her vision tunneled and she felt as if she were being yanked up into the air. The breath was knocked from her as she doubled over, gasping. She barely registered that Cassandra grasped Sren-Ko before he could hit the floor. "Constance," she gasped out. Cassandra lunged forward, grasping the little boy as Rosalyn let go of him, doubling over as she gasped for breath. She looked up at the others. "Where is Constance?"~~~~~~~ The box that Constance had been holding fell to the ground with a thud, the sound of something cracking came from within, as she was suddenly pulled into the air. A collar had gone around her throat and her hands were behind her back. She tried to get free, but for some reason her powers were not working. She screamed out in frustration and fear as she saw the strange man in front of her. Amelia's gaze seemed to go far off suddenly as she stumbled and then stopped in her spot. "Outside now! Someone has Constance!" She was seeing through Nala's eyes. The Feline was howling and spitting, trying to get at the man who had gotten a hold of the younger witch. ~~~~~~~ Merida gasped as she sat up straight. The scream that had torn through the quiet was that of rage and of fear. Her hand rested over her chest, just over her rapidly beating heart. Without a doubt she knew it was Constance.

Kasumi frowned. "She's down the street," she said carefully.

Merrick growled as he planted the end of the fridge down before he pushed off, vaulting through the window uncaring they were four floors off the ground.
Lorcan inhaled sharply as Rosalyn doubled over, taking two steps towards her swiftly.

Jin's eyes narrowed.
Kyos tilted his head slightly, thinking. He paused almost the same moment as Amelia, sensing something momentarily.Betsy gasped as the man named Merrick suddenly leaped out of the large plate glass window, obviously uncaring if he got hurt at the scream.

The Yellow Lantern smirked slightly as he shot skyward a half mile into the sky and continued ascending more slowly. "Your fear is delicious," the man said in a gruff voice.
Sren-Ko gasped as he was caught by a beautiful dark red haired woman.

Rosalyn shuddered as she shook her head. She had seen Lorcan moving towards her. "No...don't worry...about me. It's Constance...we need to get her."Cassandra held the child close as she looked around at the others. "Go. I'll stay here with Rosalyn and the child." What she really wanted was to go out there and protect her niece, but someone needed to make sure Rosalyn was okay. Carolyn nodded as she quickly stood up. "Yes let's go." She looked to Kasumi as she spoke. ~~~~~~~~ Constance looked at the man with wide eyes. How had she not sensed him? She should have sensed him and been able to avoid this predicament. "What...what do you want?""I'm sorry...but we have to go," Amelia said as she looked to Betsy. Now was not the time to worry about hiding what they could do. The ground opened up beneath her, swallowing her up.

Kasumi's eyes narrowed as she shifted her weight, two more tails lashing behind her for a total of three.

Merrick landed with a heavy crunch on the ground before he pushed off in a straight vertical leap.
Lorcan inhaled sharply as Rosalyn doubled over, taking two steps towards her swiftly.

Jin frowned as his eyes flicked upward as he could sense, muted, the man's energy signature; it stank of fear and hatred and a very strange energy he didn't recognize.
Kyos tilted his head slightly, thinking. He paused almost the same moment as Amelia, sensing something momentarily. Betsy's eyes widened slightly when Merrick shot past the window again, this time flying upwards. She darted to the window in time to see him push off of nothing but the air itself, a pulse of energy she sensed as a blend of wind and telekinetic energy shoving him higher into the sky.

He smirked slightly. "Your fear... and your life," he said gruffly.
Sren-Ko blinked, looking up at Cassandra as he sensed her comforting aura.

"Come on," Carolyn grasped Kasumi's arm and transported them out of the house. The hair on the back of her neck was standing on end. She could feel the anger, the fear and the hatred. "Oh God..." She shivered and took off in the direction that it was coming from. Her eyes narrowed when something shot up into the air and then a vine shot up into the sky, carrying someone with it. Cassandra helped Rosalyn to the chair. "Breath Rosalyn...breath. She is going to be okay. Merrick will not allow anything to happen to her or those babies. Neither will the others." She looked over at Lorcan with wide eyes. She hoped that she was right. She hoped that her niece was indeed still okay. ~~~~~ Amelia shot up out of the ground outside, a vine growing as it carried her high into the sky. As she passed by a window she saw Betsy's face pressed against the glass. The woman had gotten more than she bargained for, that's for sure. Merrick was way ahead of her, getting closer and closer to where Constance was with the strange man. ~~~~~~ Constance breathed deeply. If he wanted her fear, she wasn't going to give it to him. "You won't....get either." She said softly. Her eyes had taken on a dark red color. The demon in her was starting to come out. Whatever had stopped her other powers was not stopping the demon part of her right now. "You chose the wrong person to take...."

Kasumi exhaled as she crouched low to the ground, tiny sparks of blue and dark crimson energy gathering in front of her mouth before it floated between her lips before she coughed, a condensed blast of crimson energy imploding from her lips as she fired several bursts of crimson energy at the rising golden spark.

Merrick's eyes narrowed as dark cerulean-indigo energy spread like liquid over his body before his body transformed into his demonic form as he instinctively summoned the demonic weapon known as Gilgamesh onto his forearms and calves, the spinning blades on the backs of his wrists and outsides of his calves humming rapidly as they spun. He shot towards the oddly dressed man as bursts of crimson energy struck his greaves on his calves as he twisted, firing crescents of crimson energy in spinning kicks at the man. Fortunately, the energy sheared through the energy chain, causing the bonds holding Constance to dissolve.
Lorcan inhaled sharply as Rosalyn doubled over, taking two steps towards her swiftly.

Jin frowned as his eyes flicked upward as he could sense, muted, the man's energy signature; it stank of fear and hatred and a very strange energy he didn't recognize.
Kyos Betsy blinked, her gaze dropping towards the street as she noticed a crimson haired woman with a darker haired woman. She noticed the odd crimson aura flickering around the scarlet haired woman.

He growled as he felt the strange energy shear through his construct as he heard a voice snarl beneath him. He leaned to the side, narrowly evading a slashing strike aimed to decapitate him before he blasted the navy-indigo skinned creature... Merrick's demonic form.... downward.
Sren-Ko exhaled slowly. "Fear... strange," he muttered.

Carolyn and Kasumi arrived in time to see Constance start falling from the sky, but Amelia was there already catching the young woman. Her gaze went up further as she saw Merrick struck and falling towards the ground. She knew that he would more than likely be okay but she was still pissed. And because of that she lifted her arm, shooting a beam of searing light at the oddly dressed man. ~~~~~~ Rosalyn looked up, knowing exactly when Constance was free. She took the little boy from Cassandra and nodded. "Go."Cassandra's head snapped up. "I need to go. They need me." She looked down when the baby was taken from her. Rosalyn had straightened in her chair and took the boy. With a small nod she stood up and disappeared. ~~~~~~~~~ The bonds restraining her were cut, but no matter what Constance did she kept falling. She gasped when she was suddenly caught and looking up she saw Amelia. "Amelia...""Don't worry....you're fine." Amelia said softly as she suddenly transported them back into the building next to Betsy. Amelia set Constance down on the floor gently. "I need to go help Merrick," Constance said but she was pushed to sit back down. "You cannot. Your powers...they are faint as are the babies. I have already called for Cassandra. She is our best healer.""I am here," Cassandra said as she suddenly appeared next to them. She knelt down in front of Constance. "They are faint...but still there." She murmured as she placed her hands on Constance's stomach. "Amelia I have to go in." She closed her eyes and a glow went from her hands and into Constance. After several minutes Cassandra opened her eyes back up and swayed slightly, sitting down on the floor. "They are fine...and you will be too. I can feel everything returning to normal."

Kasumi's eyes narrowed in anger as fur rippled over her form as she shifted into the form of a werefox, her clothes shredding as five tails swayed behind her as she stood utterly nude next to Carolyn, her slitted eyes locked onto the strangely dressed man. "Amaterasu," she whispered as black flames shot skyward at the speed of sound, spiraling around Carolyn's blast of energy.

Merrick snarled as he managed to restrain himself from falling. "b***h, you're going to regret that," he growled as he dismissed Gilgamesh before his hand shifted as a flare of golden light formed into a box with a demonic head. It was the infamous box most thought of as Pandora's Box... which was partially true as its name was Pandora. It flared as it transformed into a black and crimson metallic arm cannon with vicious looking serrated spikes that radiated inward from the cannon and elbow.
Lorcan exhaled as he rolled his shoulders cautiously.

Sren-Ko snuggled close to Rosalyn, nervous with the energies bombarding his senses.

Carolyn watched as hers and Kasumi's power spiraled around each other and hit the stranger. Her gaze went to the building. She knew that Cassandra had arrived inside to help Constance. "Now let's take care of this nuisance."~~~~ Constance's hand rested on her stomach. "Thank you. I didn't even sense him," she said softly. "But Nala did...she was nervous and twitchy.""Don't fret Constance," Amelia said with a shake of her head. "We all should have known something was wrong." She looked up at the others. Cassandra pulled herself to her feet to look out the window. "Merrick, Kasumi and Carolyn out there...they should be able to take care of this. Amelia...I cannot transport all of us...too much energy used. I should really start carrying some food with me.""Don't worry about it," Amelia said as she grasped a hold Cassandra and Constance. "Kyos stay here with Betsy? I'll be back after I get these two back to the house."~~ Rosalyn looked up when there was a soft popping sound and Amelia appeared with Cassandra and Constance. "Constance!" She jumped up from her seat and rushed over to her daughter. "I'm fine," Constance said softly. "Don't worry."Cassandra sat down in a seat with a sigh. She rubbed her eyes. Well at least there was already food out.

Kasumi growled low in her throat. "I intend to do more than take care of him... I intend to make him regret ever showing his face," she said fiercely.

Merrick cocked his head as his dark onyx-silver wings flapped as the spikes at the mouth of the cannon opened as he aimed it, gold, crimson, and black energy swirling and gathering rapidly into its mouth; he didn't seem to notice as the stranger somersaulted with the impact of Carolyn's and his mother's assault nor that his own blast took the ambient energy of said attack and combined it with his own lethal power.
Lorcan rubbed Constance's shoulders before he felt the house shudder as a low humming rumble sounded.

Jin shifted his weight, his gaze flicking around at the ceiling as if he could see what was going on.
Kyos nodded slightly as he twitched his wrist slightly, the fridge materializing instantaneously in its chosen place already hooked up and ready to run.

He grunted, cartwheeling out of control in the air as he tumbled higher, roughly eighteen thousand feet in the sky.
Sren-Ko giggled as Rosalyn rushed to embrace her daughter, squishing him between both women; he found it highly amusing. "Okay?" he asked Constance, checking on her in his own way.

"After we are done with him, he will not be able to move to show his face," Carolyn said as she rose up into the air. She kept shooting blasts of light at the man, keeping him occupied so Merrick would be able to take care of the rest. ~~~~ Constance smiled as she looked down at the little boy. "Yes, I am alright." She reached down and ran her fingers lightly through his hair. She looked up when the house rocked. Rosalyn gave a sigh of relief. She had done her own check on her daughter. Not that she didn't trust Cassandra, it was just the mother in her. Cassandra smiled slightly as she reached up and touched Lorcan's hand. "Thank you." She said softly as she reached forward with her free hand to get something to eat. ~~~~~ Amelia had left the others, appearing back with Kyos and Betsy. "Okay they are settled." She went back to the window and looked up at the fight in the sky.

Kasumi smirked slightly as she pushed off the ground, shooting high into the sky as the crimson aura thickened around her as she transformed into her full kitsune form, landing with a boom as her nine crimson-orange tails swayed in the air, her shoulders being roughly equal to that of a six story building while she crouched at roughly three quarters of her true height as she focused a full powered Kokuhō.

Merrick growled as he noticed the teeth shifting inward as the energy slowed to almost nothing, focused into an area no larger than a Ping-Pong ball. He released it in one blast at the man, the beam spinning around itself as it spiraled up at the man.
Lorcan grunted slightly as he felt the house shudder twice in quick succession.

Jin jerked slightly as his gaze flicked over his shoulder; had there not been walls around them, he would have been staring straight at Kasumi.
Kyos cocked his head slightly before he blinked, seeing Kasumi's transformation.

The Huáxiāo frowned as he noticed the spiraling blasts as well as the dense blast of golden energy from further down the street from what appeared to be a massive fox; he noticed immediately that all of the windows for roughly a mile and a half shattered with the release of both attacks. He swiftly created a barrier that blocked the majority of the damage, though he allowed it to shove him into low orbit and out of sight.
Sren-Ko smirked, giggling as he closed his eyes, obviously liking Constance's touch. He felt a surge of energy before Merrick, in his demonic form, materialized just behind Constance. "Smurf!!" he giggled as he saw Merrick.

Carolyn's eyes narrowed as the man disappeared from sight. She stayed close to Kasumi. "Shall we go after him?" Oh how she wanted to go after him and beat the crap out of him. Nobody messed with her family. ~~~~~ Constance spun around and threw her arms around Merrick's neck. She buried her face into his neck and breathed in his scent. "Thank goodness that you are okay." She took deep breaths and held onto him tightly as if she thought he would disappear. Rosalyn had taken a step back when Merrick materialized behind her daughter. She was slightly surprised by his appearance and then couldn't help but laugh at what Sren-Ko said. Cassandra finished the food that was in her mouth and let out a sigh. One thing after another kept happening. When were they ever going to get a break? ~~~~~~ Amelia turned back to Kyos and Betsy. "I really hate in inconvenience you, Betsy, but it might be better if you came and stayed with us at the house. I am sure he saw you with us. It wouldn't be safe for you here by yourself."
