The Cacnea would simply edge closer as the ring would tighten as well. A slow movement ... as the green pokemono edge closer to her a sign that she wouldn't be passing through here without one even as the metal pokemon appeared. The flying type had some advantages, but not all in this fight ....as the green pokemon glares at the new intruder.

Suddenly, she was surrounded. There was no talking her way out... She would have to battle if she wanted to continue forwards. Besides, she was so close that she couldnt turn back now. Battling was her only option.
The Skarmory couldn't help but feel excited. She was going to battle again! This day couldn't get any better. Artemis focused on the Cacnea and darted forwards, ready to sink her beak into the Cacnea.

In one hit, Kai went down. The boy watched as the Aerodactyl's teeth tore into the Emolga. As Kai felt limp and fell downward, the boy caught the flying squirrel and returned him to his pokeball. There wasn't someone else he could use as he figured the Cherubi was weaker then his own pokemon. Instead he glared at the pokemon, awaiting it's next move.

She could feel the pink haze starting to form around her. As she has never seen a pokemon use this... she was confused. What was he trying to do to her? The Deerling shook her head vigorously. She wouldn't let his tricks or moves work on her. Perhaps if she kept shaking her head, the pink haze would go away...

Tyson got to the island and looked around a little bit. He smirked as he walked towards the place. "Now what was i suppose to be here looking for again?=" He said to himself as he rubbed his chin trying to remember. He then snapped his fingers and shouted "A Rare Bone!" He said and then looked around. "Woops, dont know if anyone else is here and if there are i dont want them to know why i am." He laughed a bit as he then started to walk towards the center of the island looking for the bone.

((Actually in this case that would be incorrect. Yes you can eventually counter, however you are by far not ready for it yet. Like Double Battles, the Counter-Attack is considered a more advanced technique. We prefer that students first get a proper handle on the basics first. Pretty much everyone who is already using such a move at this stage was in the old guild and thus got far enough to properly learn it.))
((So for the moment I'm going to ignore the fact that you just countered; which you should thank me for given that a failed counter comes with heavy consequences.))

[No Damage]The reflective coating would fail the Squirtle then, the energy from it being drawn into the small Grass-Types bubbles; and soon those sphere's would begin to float through the air, the energy being absorbed into the Sunkern's body. Sadly it wasn't enough to truly drain the Squirtle, nor was it enough to heal the Sunkern's wounds. He'd simply have to try again later...
Nestling his seed like body into the ground, the Sunkern began bracing himself for impact. He wasn't going to try to dodge or evade; he's simply take the strike head on!

Lyuk's decision was perhaps, remarkably short sighted in nature. Here he was, faced with a hungry predator, and he had chosen of his own will to remove any hope he had at defense against it. The child would soon find, he might as well have salted himself and shoved an oran berry into his own mouth.
The Aerodactyl was practically salivating now. Her little taste of Emolga had been refreshing, bits of the Electric-Types blood and fur sliding sweetly down her throat. Better yet, the main dish was now presenting himself on all but a silver plater. Tail lashing briefly to one side, she did the only thing one could have possibly expected from her. Vicious jaws held open wide, the Aerodactyl lunged forward at the boy, fully intent on taking a bite out of him this time!

Ami would find however that as she shook her head, the pink haze would intensify rather then abate. It seemed to focus her view, so that all she was able to see in this world was the Shieldon. His hide seemed to glint beautifully, the eyes of the ancient seeming oh so alluring all of a sudden. Everything about him would suddenly seem exquisite, even his harsher words. He was wonderful, truly, dazzlingly wonderful. His mere presence would become intoxicating to her. At least for a time. It wasn't love, not true love; the Deerling had merely been captivated by this splendid reptile. The Shieldon wouldn't even feel the need to put up much of a defense this time.

((Of ok, and thank you. Sorry for my mistake, oh and how high of a roll would I need to capture the sunkern?)) Yuna watched as the attack proved to hold true but to her eyes it seemed not to do much. Yuna was back in an offensive thinking way. She gaged the attack, the seed seemed to just buckle down like it would just take the attack head on "Ok Rikku use one more tackle, and try to keep it still up right" She looked to her squirtle and wondered if she was in over her head.Rikku looked back to her trainer and to the seed >So what will it be, a beating or getting caught?< She charged with another tackle. Her charge was a fast one and a little off ballance but she was a little mad at this ignorant seedling

">Neither. does neither work for you?<" The Sunkern shot back with a wide grin, even after bouncing back several steps from the Squirtle's Tackle. It had been a relatively shallow hit; but that didn't mean it did not still hurt! Shaking his head briefly, the Sunkern would begin to focus upon the Squirtle. Slowly, small glowing beads the size of a sweat drop would appear all over the tiny turtles skin, and once more she'd feel as if she were being drained. The Sunkern once more was attempting to Absorb her energy for his own!

Yuna thought quickly, mirror coat had failed them, and she wasnt going to try it again just yet. She thought of a deffense "Rikku, try and roll away from those beads" Yuna called out. She knew it was a weak plan but she had to do something fast or it could spell the end for Rikku.
Rikku felt weary as the beads appeared and she tried to shake it off with little success. She did a little tuck and roll but would it help her escape the absorb or would it just make her more vulnearble

A weak defense was right; in that single move the battle was over. Rikku would fell forward as all the energy was drained from her body. So much that the Squirtle wouldn't even be able to maintain consciousness any longer. Only her slow, quiet breathing would prove her to be alive.
The Sunkern on the other had looked positively revitalized. He was back and as strong as he'd been at the beginning of the battle. In one attack he'd managed to completely reverse the tides of battle...and then some!
The question was...what would Yuna do now?

Though Tyson's timing was poor ...while some would find the cavern or the forest, he would instead find the desert as he took his first steps into an unwavering heat that hit him in the face with the full strength of the desert behind it. Each step he made in the sands would seem up a hiss into the air ...this was the hottest part of the day ....as something would come at him slowly.
Orange and black, and with yellowish cream fur on it's belly ....a Growlithe ran over the desert sands as easily as breathing. His eyes would suddenly fall upon the boy, the stranger in his lands as his tail flicks from one side to another in a puzzle quite a of manner at the sight of him.
She wasn't use to humans being about as she simply kept her distances for the moment.

His eyes narrowed horribly as he saw this pokemon coming at him, and with such a weak lunge ....he would draw his fist back even as it crackled with electricity. The counter attack was plan on his face as he swung it forward again and put the force of a thunderbolt behind it ....as he used Thunderpunch as his counter attack.
This was going to be a move to quite literally rip his opponent apart if the bird was unlucky.

This was going to be a move to quite literally rip his opponent apart if the bird was unlucky. Okay, Artemis could admit that her first attack was a weak one... She was still very young after all. It came to no surprise when instead of her beak piercing the Cacnea's skin, she received a punch in the face, along with a slight jolt. Nothing fatal... She shock it off and got ready to stand guard. No more pathetic attacks from her, no way. (( not too sure how the damage would be calculated, also I'm on my phone so I'll post my stats in mynext post (: ))
