Quick question. I know that Grads are allowed to be in the Common Rooms at the beginning of the Term but, only for the first week or two. But, are they allowed to be in there at the end of a Term? Especially, with the World Cup Event going on I was just wondering. I asked in the Grads thread a while ago but, no one answered so, I figured I'd ask here.
Also, Icee do you want me to set up the thread for the Trivia or are you going to do it? Or do you want to do it together?

So Angil will be doing the Beaters
Juni will handle the snitches
and Tina and I will do the trivia for Chasers & Keepers
Any other people want to help out???
We need to get this finalized!
Also maybe members can post in the Express and their common rooms to get others to sign up

I think one person should handle chasers and another keepers. Since I am definetely doing the beaters, can I make that thread now?

Yeah, each position should be in a different thread. It could get a little complicating. UNLESS, we have someone be the announcer like Lee Jordan or Luna did in the books. That wouldn't be to hard to do.
So, Icee, is it okay for Grads to post there for this Event? Also, I can take care of the Express. Since, I have Conductor and Trolley duties, I can make a comment about it when asking if they want anything. That wouldn't be hard at all.

Right! Angil can go ahead and make her thread. We can make ours too.
I'll be for the Keepers or Chasers (doesn't really matter) and Tina can get the other one.
We're not going to do an announcer right now *unless maybe we can get ADonis to do it once the stands are open*

Most definitively. I just got a pm from someone yesterday that had been gone for a while that asked me what had been going on. That would help a lot, especially with the HM probably being delayed this month.
As for the announcer, I was thinking about it and it may slow down the questions. Which may or may not be a good thing. It all depends on how many people actually sign up.

You should still go ahead and set up the basics. Then when we determine the final teams you can just add their names wherever. The threads should give people a general idea about what they're doing.

Okay the Keepers thread is almost done. I just need to ask a few questions because, I either read over them or didn't see them at all being answered.
-When a Golden Snitch is found which Mod should the link be sent to?
-How many Points is the Golden Snitch worth finding again?
-Also, Icee did you ever send out the Guild Announcement? If you did, I never got one.
-Also, I've been thinking. I think that we may need to keep the Sign-Ups up longer, possibly all Summer Term because, we may recruit people over the Summer and if we do they will most likely want to participate. It would really suck if you joined the guild and you picked our guild because of the Event, then you told you can't play because you weren't here a couple of weeks ago. That doesn't seem so nice and personally, if the Event was the deciding factor in choosing our guild over another and I wasn't allowed to play because i was new, I wouldn't be active in the guild. I would go somewhere where I could start to do things already. Now, that doesn't mean that there isn't alot of things to do when your a House-Elf. It just means that it doesn't seem fair. So maybe we could have a rule about Signing Up that says if you posted in the SMB or are new to HPGoG then you can Sign Up to play throughout the Summer.
-Can we get a finalized version of the Rules for this? That way we don't see 20 different Rules in 20 different spaces.
-One last thing. What do you all think of the name "Keeper's Corner" for the name of the thread for the Keepers, obviously, lol. Or did you have something else in mind already?

Re: Snitches - Quidditch World cup thread says the snitch findings should be PMed to me. Each snitch found first rewards 50 points to the team.
Re: Guild Announcement - I never got the announcement either. I'll go get Adonis to make one as soon as I'm done this post (Edit: It's away! Lets hope we get more sign ups with that.)
Re: Sign Ups - I was thinking about this too. Especially since people have been prone to drop off the map in the middle of events. It'd be helpful to have fresh blood come in, though I'm not certain how we'd weasel them into the event mid-game.
Re: Finalized Rules - I thought all the rules will be in the World Cup thread? *confused*
Re: Keeper's Corner - Lol. I think it's cute. Or maybe Keeper's Goalposts since a keeper's corner is technically their goalposts area? But Keeper's Corner is just as good.
