WoefulInfinity lol. watch out for the HUGE program learning curve. I mean HUGE. See my menus? Max is only a tiny bit simplter than that. 1) Try to never use polygons that aren't quads 2) Model things in halves, flip and sew together. 3) Extrusions are your friends, but use them wisely. 4) Go from simple to more complex. wow...rule number 2 is something I would never think about, I'm stupid like that xDDDD Hold your thumbs for me, first lesson tomorrow xD

More stupid questions. Would anyone be interested in a maquette if I priced them at $100 ($75 for labor, $25 for materials and shipping).

Dude, Woe, if you can make 3D stuff so that it's importable into Neverwinter Nights, like heads and tails and clothing pieces and such, I dunno what all is involved in that precisely (but, editing the base heads for hair and eye shapes and such should be easier and can probably be done) but, if you can do that, I would totally pay for that. Anetra, see, Anetra is making a NWN2 server and ... having someone to make some custom heads and junk for it, god, would be so amazing. Or, if you're interested in something else to do, like, to get into game design (Dunno how much of a help working on the project would be, but, it's a pretty big project) you could get into something some of my friends are doing, a single player NWN2 module they're calling The Planescape Trilogy. Website: http://www.roguedao.com/Right to their forums: http://www.roguedao.com/phpBB2/index.phpIf you do get into PT though, do tell them I referred you, hahah.

These things are supposed to be importable to Unreal Tournament. I think i'd have to rig it, though. I can export as mayaASCII, mayaBinary, .mov, MentalRay, FBX, and DXF_FBX. DUnno what the last two are.

Part of my wishes I had got into the R&C in the first place so I could miss it - I gave up pretty quickly, though. Most of my commissions are still paid ones - it's much less of a heartache reading a few paragraphs of information than a few pages (I realise that information is necessary because of the nature of Gaia, but I'm too much of a slacker for it on a regular basis).

I tried to get into Menewsha and even donated for a crown. No one really likes my art there as much as they do on Gaia so I can't make any money to buy others' artwork. It's depressing because there are so many good artists there.
I noticed the R/C is getting tough and prices are going up so high. Luckily so did my donation letters. XD

I post randomly on Menewsha, not enough to make a noticeable amount of gold. A ton of good artists went there, but I can't afford any of them. That PB piece I posted was the only piece of art I've gotten so far, and I've been there since late February. It's just not my thing I s'pose.
