Skizzors Skizz will be watching (okay, well, probably.. Skizz is still like two seasons behind..) 03/14 Bus Gamer - Indeed not an anime about buses, Zely.. XD it's short for "Business Gamer," and IIRC from reading the "pilot" volume of the manga, either important companies send out guys to fight in this war game to protect their corporate secrets, or there's a big important disc full of informations that all the businesses are competing for.. I think it's the second way. (also it's by Kazuya Minekura!) This one I actually know about since I have the manga. These giant corporations hire teams of 3 people to "work" for them. The team that wins gets a HUGE payoff (like several million dollars). The game is... One team has a disc with important data on it from their sponsor company, and the other team has a certain amount of time to get the disc from them. If the second team steals the disc, they win. But if the first team manages to protect the disc, they win. All the while the corporations involved in running the game bet on the teams. Then the ante gets upped, as the main characters realize that the losing teams are being killed off.

Playing wordbump to see if I can beat my record on a laptop with a touchpad. Current record: Level 98. Let's do this. mad Skizzors 03/25 .hack//G.U. Trilogy - EVEN MORE OF THIS. Yes. D: It.. for reference, I don't really like the GU s**t. I miss when .hack involved actual thinking. But Trilogy appears to be made of badassery. I'll admit, the only reason I want to see Trilogy is to look at Pi and Bordeaux's asses in high definition. Sure, seeing if they keep the fail gay ending is interesting, but not as much as Bordeaux's bum.

As it turns out, it was a Kazuya Minekura art book, with artwork not only from Saiyuki, but also Wild Adapter and Bus Gamer. I didn't know the names of the other series at the time, so I searched for other series by Minekura, and I discovered Bus Gamer and Wild Adapter. But yes, until I found out what Bus Gamer was about, I seriously thought it was about some game people played while riding on buses. whee

So, here's what I got from the con.
* The Shura No Toki box set
* A Sadaharu plushie (readers of GinTama might recognize the name xd )
* The Wallflower manga volumes 11 & 12
* Glass Fleet DVD volume 5
* GaoGaiGar DVD volume 5
* Sensitive Pornograph DVD (Yes, this is the item I was carded for... rofl )
Various autographs, lots of pictures (which will be posted after I get them developed), lots of lulz, awesome Dead Dog Party...
And the whirlpool at the hotel was so awesome after walking all day around a very large convention center.

TweedleKeys The person I watch Gundam 00 religiously waits for Conclave. Stream is torturing me. I was pretty strict about waiting for conclave, but when it went from a few days behind the other groups to a few weeks, I began grabbing one of the others just to watch until I could get and archive the MenClave subs.

iBarty Oooo...I might have to check that one out now. I remember discovering Wild Adapter when the first volume was in stores because I was looking for more Wild Act (I don't know why I look...I know it's not there anymore). Anyway, I picked it up and was like, HAKKAI! xd I haven't finished the first volume to it yet (I really like what I've read though) but...since then I've collected it so I have up to volume four right now. Makoto DOES look like Hakkai, doesn't he? I thought so at first as well. xd I figure if an artist is going to steal someone's designs, they might as well steal from themselves.
