Just getting in after drinking last night. I'm surprised I held my liquor better then she did.

2 x double shots of Jagermeister
+ 2 x Vodka and Cranberry juice
+ Rockband = One hell of a good time. pirate heart

I was really impaired, so much so that I hit my head on a cabinet door when trying to slowly bend down to pick something up. Now I've a scab on my head that's tender.

But that was a fun night, despite being hit several times during the night, and almost cracking my head open a second time. sweatdrop

bourdain, i love you and everything, but i need your show to end now so i can go to the bathroom. and anyone who wants to point out that we're clearly watching it on the dvr and could just pause it needs to shhhhhhh.

Ugh! I HATE my old high school!

Rant: My brother's a soldier in Afghanistan at the moment - he's a member of the 82nd Airborne based out of Fort Bragg in North Carolina. Last Monday, a kid from the 82nd Airborne who was a good friend of my brother's and from our same hometown was killed by a suicide bomber...yesterday our hometown area held a huge memorial service for him, and the entire student body of the high school he went to and the elementary school he went to (down to the PRESCHOOLERS) along with students from another elementary school attended. My high school did nothing. My baby sister and my mother went to the memorial service, since their family is friends with ours, and to represent my brother and the entire 82nd Airborne. When my baby sister got back to her school and went to the office to check in, they lectured her on missing class - even though my mother called to tell them what was going on. And THEN, her jackass of an English teacher (who's been amazingly rude to her the ENTIRE damn year) accused her in front of the rest of the class of ditching - even though she'd told him (and the office had called to tell him, too!) where she was going to be and why.
This is the same jackass teacher that sent those horrible letters to my brother about how the US turned him into a killer, too. I just want to bash his face in, and now I wouldn't mind adding in the rest of the administration.

I don't know. My brother comes back to the US on April 9th, and he's been fine so far...but I'm terrified that something bad will happen, especially after finding out about this kid that was killed. I just want him home so I can stop freaking out anytime someone mentions the war or anything like that. I miss him.


I'm going to kick something.
