A petty theif that tries to steal the hero's things, but accidentally dies during the skirmish. Sensing that his soul was restless for revenge, the villian brings the theif back to life to serve as his minion.

At first, appears to be a simple librarian. More towards the end, or at least the climax, turns out to be a very powerful mage or warrior who helps the main character out.

A new maid given to a self centered rich family who disscover that the maid is not an ordinary maid. She is a shadow which can create several different forms of herself or even borrow the body of another person. She also has freak powers and is apart of a seceret clan called the Shadows which plan to form their own seceret sivilization under the grownds of the mansion.

The girl that has been bewitched by that dragon by her feet. It turns out that the dragon is an evil minion and is supposed to make the girl appear to be a damsel in distress that creates jealousy in the male hero's girlfriend.

The cyborg that tirelessly hunts a member of the group. Eventually gets reprogrammed to sacrifice its self to let the party escape.

A mysterious man that observes the hero from the shadows, and saves him near the beginning of the game a few times. Eventually, he joins the party, only to leave near the end of the game after the hero finds out he's some how connected with the villain they're after. He comes back right before the final boss battle to keep a large group of goons at bay (which no doubt leads to his death), while the hero goes on to slay the villain.

the cutsie girl that doesn't look too threatening, but has a massively angry personality and wont hesitate to attack the hero for a sarcastic comment they've made. She eventually falls for the hero and has to fight off countless other admirers to get his attention, even though the hero's scared of her.

starts off as a villain, or at least as a assassin/mercenary for hire for the villain. After the first level or so, they decide that the hero either has some potential or is so weak that they decide to teach them either a hidden skill or two or how to do a certain move/ability that was inaccessible in the beginning. Closer to the climax, they become your ally and, assuming they were originally the villain, help you fight against the new villain.

A feral being who joins evil, but gets torn at the sight of one of the good guys, who reminds him of a close friend he had before he turns feral, and, in the end, dies saving her from the bad guys.

The jealous prince whose dream princess is in love with the princess. He contracts with a demon to gain otherworldly powers to kill the hero.... but we all know that he fails.

The lonely forest mage who uses tricks and magic to try and keep the party from leaving. He seems to be evil at first but just wants some company.
