I don't mind it, but in Pokemon if you discover that, oh, the pokemons you've been raising for 3/4 of the game won't work against Boss X and you need to level up Pokemon Y that you've had in your inventory for a good third of the game to beat him, but Pokemon Y is 10-15 levels too low, it gets disheartening. Especially if this happens with multiple pokemons.
I also get annoyed if I have to swap in something useless to learn Fly or Swim because my team doesn't have a fish or a bird on it.

I've only ever played the Silver game on the old Game Boy. I pretty much stuck it out with the same 6 Pokémon through the whole game, but I swapped one of my team out for Lugia, so it was pretty simple for me.

I only say that because the market is flooded with Zombies, making it less likely any zombie stories i have will ever see the light of day. Hell in the past few there has been 8 zombie comics.

It's been a while since I've had a portable system. I think when I had a Gameboy, I had Pokemon Crystal. I just remember that Scythers were cool, and multi-functional.

Zachary T Paleozogt Romance and Vampires is getting old, much like Zombies. I'm both ashamed that I wrote a vampire story back in highschool, and glad that i never fished it. Look back on it today, I want to hit myself in the head with a brick. I was 16 at the time, and way too much into anime, even more so with Hellsing and Vampire Hunter D. So you can understand how bad that must have been. Now I did read Dracula back in highscool as well. I though it was good over all. The problem is that the ratio of "good vampire books:bad vampire books" is very very bad. There is so much dreck out there. You take your chances, which is why I usually check out vamp books from the library. Less monetary investment. Whereas right now, zombies are flooding the market like bad mortgages.

I just try for a good balanced team and usually don't change teams that much. But it does suck when you don't have a Pokemon that can't learn surf or fly.

Zachary T Paleozogt I only say that because the market is flooded with Zombies, making it less likely any zombie stories i have will ever see the light of day. Hell in the past few there has been 8 zombie comics. The only zombies comics I pick up regularly are Walking Dead and Army of Darkness, if that can even be counted. (With Dracula and Xena left and right, Ash barely has time to mow down deadites nowadays.) And yes, there has been an influx of zombie movies/comics/books/etc. as of late. Zombie comics I can't really defend, especially the seemingly never-ending parade of Marvel Zombies series they keep putting out. Zombie movies, though... Who cares? The bad ones are usually chalk full of campy goodness, which makes them good ones. The good ones are usually mindless slaughters. It's not exactly a market for intelligent films, (Romero and possibly Boyle are the exceptions) but I can't help but get a certain amount of enjoyment out of terrible stuff like "Boy Eats Girl," "Dead and Breakfast" or "Zombie Strippers." Hell - Evil Dead II, a pioneer in the field of campy zombie flicks, is probably my favorite movie of all time. (Though, in its defense, that camp was intentional.)

Adults!!! If you own Animal Crossing: City Folk you must have it for a naughty reason. Moron who doesn't get gamers "There is no reason an adult should have this game," says Andy Anderson, Mid-Missouri Internet Crimes Task Force. Anderson says adults playing "Animal Crossing" and similar games are likely doing it for the wrong reasons. Translation: You're a member of NAMBLA.

Yeah that pretty true. oh, I did forget I am Ledgen is also a great vampire book. Never saw the movie, because some how, i don't see why they changed it from Vampires to Muntants. Because these weren't Dracula style Vamps, but a slightly more realstic vamps, so my question is, why the need to make them Mutants in the movie? Are Mutans some how more balieavable? confused I don't think so. Nick Joseph Fury And yes, there has been an influx of zombie movies/comics/books/etc. as of late. Tenzil Kem Yeah, the newest one of those comes out later this month, but to be perfectly honest, unless it's radically different then the last six Pokemon games, I'm going to pass. I don't care about the online capabilities and I find myself losing interest in these games once they hit the "You gotta ramp up 10 more levels before you can challenge the next boss" point. Which explains why I still haven't finished Pearl/Diamond even though it's been what, 2 years since they first came out? Back in the day I would have been on my second game in each by the end of 2 weeks, a month at most.
It doesn't help that there really aren't any pokemon to like in the new versions. Turtwig in its evolutions are probably the only ones I really tolerate, along with Sphinx's and Glameow's. Everything else is meh.
Ok, so I saw Watchmen the day it came out. I'm happy (and slightly depressed) to say I was the only chick in the theatre that hadn't been dragged there by their boyfriend. My back had been spazzing (still is, but not by much) but I was willing to sit the 2 1/2 hours to watch the damn movie.
...Is it so wrong that I thought it was pretty good despite the fact I have yet to read the book?
(Pure comic geek BLASPHEMY, I know, I know. I expect the torches and pitchforks any moment now.)
And that the guy playing Rorschach (Jackie Earle Haley) was a total hardass and great for the role?

And that the guy playing Rorschach (Jackie Earle Haley) was a total hardass and great for the role? Oh it had its moments and four of the six cast were fantastic. Coming from a guy that read the 90's and early 00's scripts that were made that was a nice attempt.
Oh and actually there just changing around the game a little story wise and adding some forms to Rotom in Platinum. Not much in the ways of different.
For those waiting on one hell of an awesome and adorable moive, Where are those wild things?

My feelings on Watchmen, stolen from what I wrote on another site a few weeks ago: Quote: From a superficial stand-point, they nailed it. What they did, they did very well. That said, their omission of certain things really took away just what made Watchmen so great. They left out so much of Rorschach's internal monologue and the sessions between him and the psychiatrist that we only got a glimpse of his character, whereas the graphic novel served as a comprehensive character study - maybe the best of all time. (Though not just for Rorschach.) Dr. Manhattan's flashbacks were also trimmed, so we didn't get to see his gradual disinterest with humans. And, like you said, the intricate reality that Moore set Watchmen in was completely glossed over. But, with a 2h 45m running time, what could they have done? Watchmen was absolutely perfect for it's medium. It was MADE to be perfect for it's medium. To think that they could've improved or even replicated what Moore did in the GN is absolutely absurd. I thought the cast carried the movie very well. Malin Akerman didn't give any kind of meaningful performance, no, but she's no where near as bad as you claim. Infinitely better than Matt Goode, who was distractingly bad, especially with that god damn accent. And in no way did her mediocre performance bring down Wilson. I thought he ******** nailed it. He brought a level of emotion to the character that actually made him somewhat... likable, for lack of a better world. Billy Crudup did the very same with Doctor Manhattan, only better. Along with Jeffery Dean Morgan, he was nigh-perfect. Jackie Earl Haley's voice was a little much a few times but, for the most part, he was fantastic. Especially his death scene, which was quite impressive. Moloch had abysmal line delivery and Nixon did indeed look like a wax figure. Carla Gugino was pretty good, though. The direction... Visually, it was fantastic. Some of the best fight scenes I've ever seen, and everything looked like they pulled it right off the page of the comic. He abused the ******** out of the slow-motion, though. It worked a few times but, more often than not, it was distracting. And, apart from the visual stuff, the direction wasn't especially well-done. It reeked of inexperience.
