Post 18/19
Yumi looked mostly shocked and surprised when Roy mentioned the thought of the money for completing the mission, she honestly hadn't even thought about it. This mission was more for the experience of being out and getting to work with her teammates better, to become a more powerful shinobi. Giglamesh would be absolutely right though about Yumiand her desire to prove herself worthy to her parents. It gave her that fire inside to burn passionately for all those around her to see. Even though it wasn't apparent right now it would be in a matter of time.

Post 19/19 Mission Accomplished
Yumi saw the horses collapse from exhaustion nothing could express better how she felt too. She was glad that this mission was over and nothing serious had happened. Yumi looked to both of her teammates, she felt content with their success at the mission. She also felt that they seemed to work pretty well together.

It was no surprise tnat help was needed, though she questioned at first why a garden would need protection and such. All her and the kid had to do was wait outside until sensei had already talked to the gardener in question. The dude seemed friendly enough, though annoyed at how snakes got into his garden. Then again, with a garden on the outskirts of the village... next to the badlands... what were people expecting? Then, when she looked around, she noticed all the holes and egg shells. Snakes... Lovely... "Well, I suppose it's time to get to work, right?" She looked to the kid and their sensei. I don't suppose these will be the harmless types... eh? She stepped closer to the greens and kept eyes and ears out. It would be unfortunate to get bitten and die... or something like that...

Mission Name: Snake Pit Offering Client: Zangomaru Location: Iwagakure Mission Profile: I run a garden and, with the exception of imports, I am the producer of most of the flowers, fruits, and vegetables in Iwagakure. Recently, I have found a great deal of snake holes as well as hatched egg shells. There must be hundreds of snakes ready to ravage and damage if not destroy the garden. If they are not stopped they may literally put the Village Hidden in Stone into a recession!! The garden is not to be harmed!! Reward: 15 Ryo, +90 Exp Bonus: +2 Ryo if injured Requirements: *Genin and chunin only * Must be at least 10 posts and 1500 words all together. Each snake must be dealt with in combat situation.(PM me for stats) *Deduction for widespread jutsu and each failed roll (based on snake DC and your actions.) of 50 Yen each.
(I figure we might do this by doing search and listen checks to find the snakes, then catch them, and then after we get a certian amount the mother snake comes out and we get her?)

"All right, here's the debriefing." A slight pause. "According to the client, Zangomaru-san, around this time of the year, the garter snakes indigenous to this area reproduce their numbers rapidly. Now...normally this wouldn't be a problem as most snakes are meat eaters... But this particular species we're looking at can consume vegetation as well. Not just nibbling at the shoots, but down to the roots whole: thus killing the infant plants before they even grow. Because vegetation in Iwa is already sparse, the garden Zangomaru-san runs is particularly invaluable, and it helps keep food prices steady for the Iwagakurian people. In a time when Konoha has withdrawn from the food market thanks to that fire b*****d stomping in...um...excuse me, anyways. So yes, vegetation prices are currently high."
"Thus, we must rid as many possible. However...attacking the nest would be better than picking out the snakes one by one after they had hatched. Thus...Elruda-hime, your duty is to locate the nest, while Sakeme find and rid the ones in our way. Afterwards, we will head to the main source: the nest itself."
"These snakes secretes a minor poison - it won't be lethal but having a significant amount in your system would paralyze you. Without time to mix an antidote, there are two ways you can remove it: either through control of the tenketsu nodes at the fingertips, thus drawing the poison directly out...but since that is a more advanced treatment suited more to the medics...without a high enough level of chakra control, you can always cut the bite wound and allow the tainted blood to drain. Bandage up though: blood attracts more snakes."
Shikamori reached into his pouch, pulling out a snakeskin. "Use this as a basis. So Chiisai-hime, focus only on chakra signatures similar to this snake's."
Chakra Control to remove poison (baby snakes): 30 Spot Check to locate nest: 350
Cp: 112/115
The Hyuuga princess grinned. "Really! Elda gets to keep one later, right?" Whether or not she was serious about wanting one of these poisonous snakes as her pet...was never elaborated on. Her hands formed the familiar seal pattern for the Byakugan, and the pressure in the air suddenly seemed to shift, as chakra expanded her vision. The familiar lines of the Byakugan took their place, while Elruda maintained part of the Tiger seal to focus. The colour in her vision faded, leaving the landscape in shades of black, white, and gray...
It was a bit exciting, testing her talent at locating the chakra of non-human beings. For a moment, though her head did not turn, she carefully observed the snake skin in her field of vision. Hm...the chakra... Unlike human chakra which seemed in general yellow, the chakra of animals seemed closer to produce a faintly more brown type...while the chakra emitted by the trees and plants were a pale green...
After a long moment of careful observance, she finally nodded. The scene before her shifted, 10 meters...20...30...through obstructions such as the curved path of the mountain walls, through solid boulders...

(Alrighty... what's the DC for the snakes? Shall I roll for them and then add their hide skill? Though you have the profile...)
Sakeme listened carefully as Sikamori briefed them on what was supposed to be going on around here. The idea of a snake hunt was a bit tempting to her, though she knew being carefull would be the essence of this misison. It annoyed her slightly that she couldn't use any of her clones. She wondered if genjutsu wold work on animals... She didn't bother asking though, she figured she had had enough training with genjutsu for a while, it was time to lay off the chakra and focus more on her brute strength. That would prove to be fun. Atleast she hoped it would.
Wandering around the garden, she kept her eyes sharp She hoped it wouldn't take too long before she could spot one. Though she heard no ruslt in the boshes, she noticed something that did not belong in a pot of flowers. There were two of them... Oh? Well fate has given me luck... She had them cornered... and she wouldn't let them get away.

Alright, thanks. The hide is 21 though, since 19 was added to it rather than 10)
With a bit of a grin, she watched as the snakes raised their heads to her, flicking their tonges in and out. They were testing the air, feeling the heat of her body. Could they feel the heat of her battle aura though? Perhaops not, as they did not flee. No poisonous snake is gonna scare me away... Crouching into a stance well known by those who use goken, she jumped at them. They twisted, their slitted eyes trying to follow her movements, and before they knew it she had pounded her fists into their backs.

(rolling for two different snakes)
The snakes despised the girl for ruining their resting place, she had blocked their light and then attacked them. They would not stand, or slither, for this as she beat into their spines. Though they both felt weak after her attack, they would strike back with what they could. The first snake didn't rise up, but curved under and snapped at her arm. Jumping back Sakeme managed to avoid the second snake's strike as well, as it had bitten the air instead of her.

Dodging their snapping mouths, Sakeme figured she should just end their misery and kill them now. The damage she had done would have killed them within the next half hour from internal bleeding and most likely suffocation. She was just doing them a favor when she struck them down once more. Squatting down she scooped up the limp bodies of the dead snakes and walked over towards the wheel burrow where they would toss the bodies. The gardener could probably use the deceased reptiles as some sort of fertilizer if he wanted to. It made no difference to her.

After putting away the soon to be rotting corpses into the empty wheel burrow, also hoping the kid didn't see what she had just done, but knowing that was a futile thought. She had to set off into the garden once more, in search of more snakes... she was going to have to kill as many as she could, after all. It was for the safety of Iwagakure's economy. The food supplies depended on them. That sounded a bit dramatic for her tatse...
As if it were de-ja vu, she saw, again, creatures that weren't supposed to be there. Only instead of basking in a flower pot, she found a cute couple of baby snakes curling themselves around some vegitables. It looked to her that one of them was actually eating a carrot and the other rose and turned its head as if to keep watch. Do this things always come in pairs or what?

Raising an eyebrow as she made eye contact with the look out snake, she stepped forward. The other snake swallowed what it could and looked at the girl with its beady eyes and rounding belly. What are you looking at? She glared at the snakes before taking another step toward sthem and crouching into a stance that was low enough to the ground that she could get close and do enough damage.
As the snakes rose to meet her, though one not as much for it was stuffed, she raised her fists and sruck down on one, before jumping up and stepping on the other. She could hear definite chracking noises as she struck at them. They would die just as the other shad. Something that satisfoed her to no end.

Though beaten, and apparently broken, the look out snake still had some fight in him, or her, left. Unlike the stuffed one who failed miserable with its strike, the first snake manages to snape at Sakeme and sink it's fangs into her skin. At first it wouldn't let go, as if it were trying to squeeze every ounce of poison from its glands into her blood stream. Eventually it was shalen off and landed in a thus against its fatter friend.
