"Who knows? You might want to take on an apprentice, so when your lifetime ends, someone can finish the angreal work...assuming you can find someone who appreciates angreal as much as, and in the way that you do....and also assuming you find someone you approve of...

Between the angreal and Sitter work, I think you DO have quite enough to last your lifetime."

: Azalea nodded to Mercury and would have spoken more but the reached the stables. She accosted a stable boy and sent him to fetch their horses and make sure that all of the needed preperations were made. "Let's just make a gateway to my room, I tire of walking." :

((It'd be really lovely to know, is anybody else currently in Caemlyn or Andor? Thanks.^^

For now I'll just waste time with.. the gaining of a horse. I need me a good mount.))

"Oy, Lir, come 'ere lad!" Ari called out, smiling broadly. The scrawny boy in question turned to see who was hailing him and a handsome grin split his otherwise plain face in two. He scurried over, clearly excited.

"Have the horses arrived yet?" she asked, eyeing the boy appraisingly.

"My da just got returned yesterday! He sent me to fetch you."

"Lead on my liege lord," Ari said with a chuckle. Lir reddened severely and mumbled something, before turning and leading her through the crowd.

"Are you hungry?" she asked, pausing in front of an eager vender. The woman attempted to smile invitingly at him, but only managed to look slightly less cranky. Her pinched face was not enough to turn him off the enticing smell of the rolls before her though, and he nodded eagerly. "Me too, I think I could eat a horse!" Ari declared. Chuckling at her own joke, she purchased two warm rolls, handing one to Lir and taking one for herself.

Devouring the soft goods, they set a steady pace through the crowded streets. Shortly, Lir stopped before a large stable. The sweet smell of hay wafted out, along with the smell of horse manure. An eager Lir led her inside, pausing before his father, a tall, broad man of perhaps thirty-seven. He smiled at her and said in an unbelievably soft voice, for such a large man, "Ah, Arhanne Corrone, I see Lir here has managed to track you down." He reached over and ruffled the boy's hair playfully before calling out, "Lead 'em in gents. Only the finest of Tairen bloodstock for Ari Corrone of course," he added with a wink.

The grooms led out two magnificent mounts. One was a tall chestnut mare with white fetlocks and white star in the middle of her forehead. Ari offered a flat palm and a lump of sugar to the creature, who sniffed it and lipped her hand delicately, snorting after devouring the treat. She patted the horse with a grin before turning to the other.

The other was taller, and a gelding. He was a very dark dappled grey, and eyed her for a moment before stepping forward to inspect her proffered palm. After taking the sugar, he nosed her hand again and watched her expectantly. She giggled, delighted, and turned to the proud trader. She didn't bother to inspect either horse; to do so would only insult her old friend and partner.

"Well, you've really outdone yourself, Barel. Fantastic beasts, both of them. I think I'll go with the dapple though. She handed the trader the pre-agreed upon 30 crowns before turning to Lir. "So, what should I call him?"

The boy blushed again, and murmured, "I think you should call him Lightsbane. That's what I'd call him anyway."

Ari nodded thoughtfully, "Lightsbane it is then. I think it suits him."

Ban stretched his fingers out and rubbed the corners of his lips, examining the gate. After a few impatient moments, he began to hear the clamour of poorly trained footmen. After yet another few moments, he found his neck straining to look the pair in the eye.
Both soldiers were clad in thick layers of spiky, rusted, and stained metal armor. Bits of cloth hung here and there like so many snared moths, and the features of each were completely veiled within the contours of the armor. One wore a helmet with two great gnarled antlers, the other stood in an odd crouching stance, though Ban didn't reach either of their chests in height.
He remained perfectly still, until one of them seemed to notice the lone man from behind the gate for the first time. A low grunting sound escaped the antlered one's helm, and the other huffed in acknowledgement.
Ban had absolutely no experience outside the gates of Cairhien, but he had heard of the giants known as Ogiers. Neither of these beastly figures could aptly be described as the gardening type, though, so he was left to wonder.
The crouching soldier leaned foreward, gripping a thick iron key, and unlocked the gates. He pulled on it, leaving just enough room for Ban.
Ban licked his lips and nodded before slipping through silently. He had no desire for prolonged association with these guards, and he intended to find his new employer as fast as possible.
Before he could make it another step, though, he felt a massive fist close on his right shoulder, and he turned to see the antlered guard staring down at him.
It seemed Ban's wishes would not be granted this evening.

((i dunno whats happening now so ill just rp myself out of nowhere..))

After the outburst of his emotions faded from him, Hawk motion Jeaden to a slow sprint back where they came from. Out of the forest somewhere at the borderlands. The weather is quite snowy and wind breeze should have been chilly, but he didnt let it touch him using the void and saidin for remaining concentrated. Its been awhile since he even sensed the connection of the bond he got with his aes sedai. Riding to nowhere he just let Jeaden motion his way out of the desolated and burned forest. One way or another he will surely find the path to where he came from.

"Gateway it is..." she coughed, before adding, "Though you could use the exercise."

She shot a friendly smile in Azalea's direction, to show she was teasing. Neither of them were anywhere near being stocky or otherwise...Azalea was far too active for that, and Mercury just didn't eat.

She waited for the silvery line to finish rotating before stepping through it and to the side so that Az could come through.

"I wonder if Katerine is done yet..."

: Azalea grinned and looked down at her thin frame, "Oh yes, because I am so inactive." She rolled her eyes and laughed. "I hope so; I fear I may leave without them if they aren't done soon. I am bored already." :

"Hmm...indeed...I'm almost bored enough to actually try going back to my work...so how badly off do you think Alina and Dupre will be?"

She didn't mention Mirren; the Accepted was likely to get off, for various reasons. Not to mention blowing up Dragonmount somewhat paled in comparison to being a Darkfriend, under Compulsion, overstepping boundaries, AND trying to kill the Amyrlin.

Katerine swept out of Skiiy's office with Nine on her heels. A small smile was on her face at the prospect of leaving the Tower for a nice trip. She looked over her shoulder at Nine before speaking.

"Let's go to my room's first and get my saddlebags. Then we can go down to the store rooms and get the cloaks and clothing. After that it is to the stables."

The walk was pleasant from the Warder's Quarters to her own. The Tower with all the ornate decoration never ceased to entertain her. Then all the history those same walls held was thought-provoking. Soon though, they were entering the Blue Ajah's quarters. Katerine glided down the hall to find a woman standing before her door. She was not the typical woman to be seeing her though for she did not wear white and didn't appear to be a petitioner of any sort. Even if she was a petitioner, why send her to Katerine? A note of curosity entered her mind and she approached the woman with a casual air.

"Is there some thing I can help you with? It is not common for me to receive visitors."

((Hmm.. perhaps I'll contrive up a reason for why I should be headed that way too.))

Ari threw herself backward onto the bed, landing in the jumble of sheets and pillows with a loud "whumph." She eyed the ring she cradled in the palm of her hand carefully, trying to discern any secrets it held that she hadn't already divulged. Gently she rubbed the smooth surface of the ter'angreal before slipping it on her finger and preparing for sleep, or a sleep-of-sorts. With a tiny smile, Ari yanked off her boots and slipped off her breeches and tossed them carelessly atop a trunk in the corner. After unhooking her belt, her tunic shortly followed. She stowed her belt with the jacket she'd removed earlier in a small chest in the back of her bureau and jerked a shift over her head. Pushing silky white-blond ringlets from her face, she postponed a weary sigh and took a moment to make sure the shutters were tightly latched and the door locked and donned some large woolen stockings.

Satisfied, she moved to the bed and pushed the pillows all toward the head of the bed. She blew out the single candle and fell into the bed. Though she took a moment to smooth the sheets and get everything untwisted, she was asleep almost instantly...

And found herself in the alley outside her small well-concealed home, in nothing but her shift. With a disgruntled sigh and a softly muttered curse, she attempted to focus. After a moment she looked down to find herself in a plain but well-cut woolen dress. In a lovely shade of blue, after another moment of thought. And belted. And her belt was equipped with a lovely short-sword. Nodding, she stepped out into the street, finding it deserted. Of course, that was to be expected. The streets in what she could only assume was some sort of parallel world to her own were nearly always deserted.

With a determined air, she hurried off down the street, attempting to recall the exact directions her current client had given her. She only had so much time before Ann would be in to rouse her from her not-so-restful sleep.
