Everyone:
Once you have all approached the door, the Illusory start using their powers. Soon, the boulder moves to the side. Once it is aside, you can all see a large cavern in which there are nine columns arranged much like the symbols on the door that your Rings opened earlier. Above the one in the middle, you see a Ring floating there. All around the cavern, bolts of orange lightning jump from the Ring to the walls and back.
"Go forth and retrieve the Ring," the Illusory say to no one in particular.

I walk towards the ring. As much as I would like to be chosen, I can't help who the ring chooses. If it chooses me, great. If it chooses someone else, then that's how it goes.

I walk up towards the ring, looking at it carefully. I started to wonder just what kind of power it possesses. Just what kind of catch and resposibility comes with it? If it picks me, will I need to uphold a new set of order? If it doesn't, would I even be needed in this quest? Just how powerful of a foe are we facing if the end all force of the universe is needed to combat it? Looks like I have no choice but to see how this plays out...

Manra ends up taking a couple steps forward, without really remembering to pay attention, as she has slipped off and gone to the recesses of her mind, ending up in that oddly functioning world she had made for her mind, not the ones of such labrythine lands, but the ones with the elements, light, dark, water, fire, earth, air, the spirits of her first friends (the Spirits of the Rings freely invited), the illusion cast inside her mind, and while lost in there, her mind starts to really race in thoughts. What do the Spirits like? What do they enjoy? She couldn't think about herself much there; then, only in the context of was there something she could do to make them smile? Or if the others would like the place she had enjoyed as much as her labyrinths.

Everyone:
Because Kirino is taking a while...I'm moving her into the Ring Chamber.
As you approach the Orange Ring, the orange lightning (which Moriah sees as sudden bursts of orange energy, but isn't quite able to make out the shapes due to their speed) hits each of you a couple times, leaving a funny, tingling feeling. However, one you reach the column above which the Orange Ring floated, you can all see a man sitting on what appeared to be a floating stone throne above the Ring. He is sitting back, looking down upon you with a look of contemplation.
"No," he says.
You all recognize this voice as the one that spoke to you during your trials.
"No, none of you," he says.
His voice is not arrogant or mocking, but very matter-of-fact.
"You all possess such amazing abilities...so much potential..." he says. "But not enough...no, there is something missing...an understanding of the other side of our power...of the evils of the world."
The stone throne begins to disappear. It looks as though it's being pulled apart so much that all that is left are pieces so small, you cannot see them. The man descends to the floor slowly, landing softly. He looks over each of you.
"There is another," he says. "Someone who started this journey, but did not finish. Why did they not finish? Why did the woman out there replace her? Why did the Blue Ring need a new Bearer?"
You all realize that he is talking about Amadahy and Silla.

"Amadahy was captured by Hishia'rinu towards the start of our journey. We figured we would stand a better chance of rescuing her without dying ourselves if we came here first... it was a group decision. But the more that time goes by, the chances of finding her alive grow slimmer."

"If you could lend us assistance in finding her, it would be great, but if not, than I have to head out as once. I hate leaving a comrade and friend in enemy hands for too long. I know not of his goals or what's being done to her, but he must be stopped, and she has to be freed; or at least given a proper burial..." I say to him in a rather dutiful, if impatient tone. Impatient not with his choice to pick no one, but with the fact that we chose to deviate from our path to bolster our odds to know avail, all the while leaving not only one of our compaion's lives in the balance, but potentially others as well.

"So are you really going to leave us to take on this threat alone when we came all this way to find you? If so... what kind of person does that make you? It certainly leaves you at a lower level of morale than we're at already for not going to rescue Amadahy immediately. It wasn't an easy decision that we had to make."

Everyone:
"I never said that I would not come," he says. "I only said that none of you have what it takes to be the Orange Soldier's replacement. However, I will accompany you on your quest to find your friend, for which we must leave quickly!"

I am going on vacation today and will not return until the 26th or so. This RP will be effectively on hold until I get back. I MIGHT sporadically post while out of town, but there are no guarantees. You may post up to five times EACH between my posts. Which means that you have up to five posts EACH after this post, but cannot post more than that until I post again. This is simply to keep me from having to read TOO much when I get back. Thank you for understanding.

Kirino takes everything in. This was all very interesting but somewhat troubling also. None of them were good enough for the orange ring. A twinge of anger sparked inside her. So was Amadahy the one who would bear the orange ring? Amadahy who had gotten herself captured. She fidgets with her tail, trying to douse the flare of irritation inside her. Envy didn't make friends.

Manra pulls herself from her mind, mostly due to the Orange Ring's spirit claiming none of them were right for the Orange Ring and they had to leave quickly to seek out Amadahy. She let out a tiny squeak. For her, being told that she didn't have what it took to wield the Orange Ring almost felt right, accurate. Wasn't the Orange Bearer smart and wise, well versed, knowing when to give and when to take or was she confused again? Someone with confusion and idealism as a normal setting did not quite fit that description. So she was not upset at all, rather smiled, but thought."Ey,a-ah, um...I...know I am..." Stupid? Naive? "...ignorant, but... do you need ...a Bearer to... travel or ... can you move....freely, wi-without a ...Bearer...a-and only....chose to stay...here? I'm not... sure...I understand... how this....all works."

"You don't say..." I mutter under my breath in responce to the orange spirit. Wow, a few minutes with my new ring and I'm already adopting some of Nash's snark... Guess it's been a long trip too. I had to say, while I wasn't really gunning for ultimate power, it does bother me slightly of the implications that Amadahy was somehow more wise of the world than we were, or that we don't realize the consequence of our powers. In truth, I felt a breath of relief that none of us were deemed nessisary because of how much it would split our party. We were all skilled, and equally deserving in different ways, and no one deserved to be raised on a pedastal over the others, nor did the others deserve to have wasted their virtues.

"Very well. I guess you travelling with us will give us more time for us to prove ourselves. If I am correct, you're saying that none of use are ready yet, which is not surprising considering none of us are very experienced yet. And your help to rescue Amadahy is greatly appreciated."

Manra:
"I can only be around where my Ring is," Lasai'ei replies. "Thus, one of you must carry it with you until I find a Bearer."

Everyone:
Suddenly, the orange lightning stops and the Orange Ring flies around all of you for a moment, before hovering before Manra.
"You may carry it first," Lasai'ei says. "But each of you should take turns carrying it until I do find a Bearer. To be fair."

Atlanta:
Lasai'ei nods.
"It is possible that one of you may grow to earn my power," he says. "But for now, you do not have what it takes."
