Alan Kinoki
Nickname: Kino She was rather redundant. He let it slide thinking that she was still confused a bit and getting her bearing. He nodded around, not taking his eyes off of her and said, "As far as this land goes, the people call this quaint little city, Wutai. The actual world, they refer to it as Gaea." He gave that a moment to sink in. He had no idea who this woman was or weather or not she could handle such a 'truth'.
But, she was a fighter. So she had to be tougher than your average shmoe. That was a good sign. It meant maybe he might have someone to talk to. Everyone in this area was far too sneaky for his taste. All ninja's and wanting to prove their skill to each other. That was all nonsense to him. But, he was a guest in these parts. So he didn't voice that opinion.
When she looked as if she was ready, be it 5 seconds or 5 minutes later, he spoke again. "As for your friends, if they are here, on this world, then I fear they have suffered the same fate as we have. Which means they could be anywhere." He hadn't been everywhere, himself. Only to a few places and then a boat, which led him here. He was eager to get on with his search for his own friends. Hopefully he could do that soon enough. This place really was boring. And his gil, what little had, seemed to walk off quite a bit.

Meliadoul Tingille The temple knight took in what Alan told her, and her shoulders subtly sagged a bit. Meliadoul closed her eyes for a moment and hung her head. As the lady knight sheathed her ornate sword 'Save the Queen,' she glanced up and made a long sigh, "That would settle that then... I have no idea how far I am from home. I have never heard of 'Wutai'. I do not suppose you've heard of Invalice?" The green clad knight's eyes met Alan's and gave the immaculately composed paladin before her nervous grin, "Considering I seem to be completely out of my element, would you mind ... bearing my company? I will try not to be a bother."

Alan Kinoki
Nickname: Kino He stood there for a moment and gauged her as a possible companion. He was thinking more about how she would fare with him rather than how he would fare with her. Alan knew he wasn't an easy man to get a long with. Most people even went so far as to call him an a*****e. But, he had his moments. The real question here was weather or not she was willing to put up with him.
"Well, Miss Meliadoul Tingille. I would rather enjoy the company. However, I must warn you that if you travel with me, what I say goes. As a knight, you understand that my job isn't to look out for me, but to look out for those who need it most. So when I do something, I do so without a second thought to myself. You are going to have to be alright with that, and even more so, willing to help when needed. My job is to protect the weak and innocent. It's the code of Valor that every Paladin upholds. I need to know that you can do that. I'm not saying you have to be a saint, but we follow the lay of the land and, more importantly, the lay of the law as long as we travel together."
The life of a Paladin was not one he considered ideal. In his world, switching between jobs was as simple as going to your House and talking to your Moogle. Here, he had yet to find any Moogles. Not even a Nomad Moogle. Which, to him, was odd. But all of that only meant that until he could find one of these elusive Moogles, he'd be stuck protecting and smiting and all that other goody two shoe s**t that came with the job of a Paladin.
He let his words sink in before he took his hand off his hilt. He gave her one more look over, just for curiosities sake. He found that when he wasn't looking at her as a fellow fighter, she was a rather attractive woman under that armor. At least, that's what he told himself in his head. In any case, he stepped forward and extended his right hand. "If we're going to do this, we need to at least know we can trust each other. You can fight, I'll give you that. I'm sworn to loyalty. So at the moment, I have no choice but to be honest. I need to know I can trust you. I need to know that when push comes to shove, you've got my back. Because, if you can fight that well all the time, then I may be able to finally get some rest." The last part was said with a half grin. It was sarcasm but the message was real. He was tired of watching his own back.

Meliadoul Tingille The lady crusader approached the immaculate armored warrior before her, carefully stepping our of the small stream. A smirk adorned the young girl's lips, as she took only a moment to consider the offer. “So be it, Ser Alan,” Meliadoul responded as she took the paladin's hand and shook it in agreement. The green-clad temple knight stared directly into Alan Kinoki's gaze to show her sincerity as she continued, “I accept your offer, kind ser. As you watch my back, I swear on my honor to watch yours. Together, we shall face whatever dares confront us or endangers innocents. I think... my brother would have liked you, Ser Alan. So then... What shall we do first?” A warm smile took in Meliadoul's visage.

Alan Kinoki
Nickname: Kino He admired the firm grip of her hand shake. That meant a lot to him. The rest of her body language said she was comfortable enough with him, and his ideals of how things should be handled. That told him that she had some dealings with like minded people. Which was certainly a good thing. She was no stranger to the game. And, that was good because it made him comfortable.
He didn't say anything about her brother when she mentioned how the man may like him. He'd personally have to meet the man himself before any judgements like that were thrown around. But, that didn't mean he was going to discredit the woman for having an opinion. She was allowed.
He let her hand go and then turned around to face the bulk of Wutai. He shrugged. "Honestly, I don't know. I've asked a few people, here and there, about my own friends and come up empty. I've just kinda gone where the wind has blown and where opportunity has led. But, now you're here. So the hunt starts anew. Now we try to find your friends. And, who better to start that endeavor than you?" He stepped to the side and held his arm out towards the city and nodded. "Ladies first."

Meliadoul Tingille As the pair of knight made their way to Wutai, Meliadoul slowed down and began staring at the unique architecture of mostly wooden structures with layered thatched roofs of lacquered wood designed to funnel rain away from the buildings. The walls seemed to be composed of.... ornate sliding doors and coated on the interior with ... paper? The green temple knight wasn't sure what she was seeing was accurate with what her senses were telling her. A distance away from the pair was the pagoda that could be seen towering over the town. To Meliadoul, it appeared to be a tower composed of several small houses with wide red lacquered wood roofs stacked one on top of another. Slowly, the young woman tilted her her to the side in slight confusion, and then shook her her head, "Ummm... Ser Alan? What are these people like?"

Alan Kinoki
Nickname: Kino He stopped short and put on a face that was pretty damn serious. Looking straight at the woman he shook his head side to side and said in a stern voice, "First off, do NOT call me Ser. Call me Alan, or Kino. I can assure you, despite my full, and well groomed beard, I am not near old enough to be called Ser." Towards the end of his tongue lashing, he began to smile. He was certainly this girls senior, but he still wasn't about to admit that he was old. Or even getting there.
"As for the people, I'm not really sure. I've only been here a few days and in that time all they seem to really want to do is show off their 'Honor' by combating each other. That, or they find inventive ways to separate you from your gil. However, I do know that this place is run by a board committee. The leader of the country is a girl. From what I gather, she's hardly out of her teens. A Yaffie, or Suffie? I can't really remember. I only heard the name once in passing and, to be honest, I was not paying much mind to the conversation to begin with." He started walking again. His steps casual. He shrugged his shoulders a bit and cocked his head to the right. "Other than that, I can't say, with any honesty, that I know much."

*:・゚✧*:・゚✧Suzi*:・゚✧*:・゚✧ "Stop you thief!" Yelled a man as she chased after the young woman in black who had a large piece of bread in her mouth and a cooked fish in her hand. She quickly darted around a building before she hopped up and grabbed onto a ledge, pulling herself up onto a balcony as the merchant man ran past where he had thought she ran off to. They never learn...She thought as she took a bite from the bread and fish, sitting back and relaxing a bit. Hopefully no one would come out again and catch her here, though she wouldn't be there for long before she hopped down to the ground once she had finished eating. She ducked between buildings and started to head back to where she "lived" when she saw a wanted poster of her, saying to have her alive and priced for a few hundred gil. "Dammit they already have posters put up?" She said to herself as she quickly went past, going to a back ally and sitting behind some boxes out of view and listening for any follwers.

Lucian Amagi
Lucian looked out past a tattered cloth from what could be called a house. He sighed a but as his stomach growled abit then looked back to a couch thats in ruin. Sleeping on the couch was a young white haired girl, this was Suki his younger sister. He smiled as a looked at her then left their home. He left to try and make some money to feed them or Atleast her. He walked into the city and looked around for a bit to see if any one needed a merc or a guard but not today it seemed then a poster caught his eye. Some thief apparently was wanted and her bounty was enough for food for Atleast his little sister. He couldn't pass that up any money helped him feed his sister. He climbed to the top of a building and scanned the are then saw the wanted their eluding a merchant "making this easy Atleast" he muttered to him self as he jumped down and began to follow her. He watched her dive into and alley way, probably expecting someone to be following her Lucian decieded to take a different route to catch her off guard. He climbed the building then slowly followed it around till he was right above her, he waited a bit so she'd let her guard down enough then leaped down with his short blade drawn at her "don't move" he muttered to her pointing the tip of his sword at her neck. "Make this easy on yourself and just come with me, I have some one I need your bounty to feed" he said to her showing no intent to let her get by.protecting my sister is the only thing I can do to honor my parents, I'll make sure she's safe from any harm for the rest of her life

*:・゚✧*:・゚✧Suzi*:・゚✧*:・゚✧ Suzi looked up in time to see a dark haired man jump down from the roof right onto her! She put up her hand in time to keep the blade a little away from her at least, the palm of her hand having a small piece of metal armor so she could stop blades like this. "Hey I'm no better off than you, I can at least steal the food I need." She growled at him, he could probably see how that she was actually part wolf. Bringing her legs up she pressed her feet against his stomach before she pushed her legs out with a lot of force to try to get him off her. "Those people are only going to beat me and starve me in a cell if you bring me in." She said as she scrambled onto her feet, pulling out a small dagger from her coat. If he decided then if he was going to take her in then at least she would put up a fight, a dirty fight at that.

Lucian Amagi
Lucian looked the wolf girl over, ya she did seem like she was in in the same condition he and his sister were in. Looking her over he could tell she knew what it was to starve, her ribs were plain as day with her outfit the way was. Looking her over aside he still couldn't let this opportunity slide. He then got kicked back and he stumbled back a bit. As he got his footing again he noticed she had pulled a knife on him. "Look you may have it bad but I have a younger sister to take care of, and your bounty will pay for her food. I don't care what happens I just have to take care of her." He said to her as he took a defensive stance. "Regardless of what they do to you it's only right, your a thief, you broke the law which means you deserve what's coming to you" he said right before he lunged at her with his short blade taking aim toward her shoulder to cripple her so she couldn't fight back. protecting my sister is the only thing I can do to honor my parents, I'll make sure she's safe from any harm for the rest of her life

*:・゚✧*:・゚✧Suzi*:・゚✧*:・゚✧ "I doubt starving someone and beating them to near death will be right for someone stealing a few gil worth of food." Suzi growled at him again before she ducked to the side and reached up, grabbing his wrist and twisting it a bit to make him let go of his blade before she pointed her knife at his neck. She then shoved him into a wall and pressed into him a bit to pin him against it. "Look, living like this you either have to steal in order to eat or not eat at all. Making gil is hard enough as it is and the few hundred I am worth will only serve you for a night." He probably knew she was right, with how hungry he was and probably his sister as well.

Lucian Amagi
Lucian was cought off guard as the wolf quickly disarmed him then pinned him to a wall, anger aside he felt a bit uncomfortable as she pressed up against him. "Your right it's wrong to be punished that bad for trying to live but stealing still isn't justified either, I'll gladly work hard for the food I get us, I won't fall so low to be a petty thief" he said to her. She soon would feel the air cool down almost rapidly and no doubt she would be able him chanting a spell "goddes of the frost encase my foe in a dark prison of the cold north and shatter their cruel soul with frost- flash freeze field" after the spell was casted the area around him dropped in temperature so quickly water froze in seconds and she would notice her legs were being encased in ice and if she didn't move quickly so would the rest of her. protecting my sister is the only thing I can do to honor my parents, I'll make sure she's safe from any harm for the rest of her life

Alan Kinoki
Nickname: Kino Alan faltered for a moment as the altercation between two other people caught his attention. He spent the first few moments observing. More often than not, observation would lead to more answers than one could gain by force. So was it true in this case.
Seeing how this could possibly play out, The Paladin started to move forward. He did not draw his sword, instead, he pulled his shield. The crest of the Bastok emblazoned in fine detail. Before he got within the ice field, he called on his unique ability. Invincible. It did exactly as it was called. For a period of time, Alan would be impervious to damage. The effect was short lived, but he only needed it to last long enough to calm the situation.
He stepped into the field, the ice falling on his metallic boots and doing no harm to him. He walked tall, proud, and with purpose. When he came to rest between the two, he pulled out a sack of gil. The last bit of coin he had, but no one needed to know that. He tossed the bag towards the male and nodded. "That should cover the bounty on her head." He would say no more. Only rest his free hand on the hilt of his sword.
His ability would hold out for a bit longer. He hoped it was long enough for this impromptu intimidation tactic to work. Otherwise, he'd have to run. And let's be honest, Paladin's look funny trying to run in full plate armor.

((Classic case of god modding, taking Lucian's ice spell without harm. That spell is a field style incantation that lasts in the spot it's cast for three minutes as a sort if trap. It'll freeze anyone unlucky enough/dumb enough to just stand there)
