RaeRae Rave So last night I did my usual routine: called Kin, and went to bed around, oh, I dunno, 11 since it had been a long day. Well, the phone rings at 1:30 in the morning, and it's obvious something is wrong, even before my grandfather bursts into my room and asks what my mom's boyfriend's phone number is.
The hospital called to say my grandmother's not doing well. She wouldn't wake up and even if she opened her eyes a little, she still wouldn't respond. She was having a hard time breathing, even with all the tubes. I got there around 4:30 AM after being awake since the call, trying to deal with my cousin who kept calling and crying.
They say she's dying, but they have no idea from what. The doctor thinks it could be an infection, but he's having a hard time locating it - if it is, then all he'd need is the right anti-biotic and she'd be fine. But as it is, they say she could die today or tomorrow.
I finally had to have mom drive me home because I just can't do it anymore- the one time she woke up, she kept making these little crying noises and still couldn't talk.
I just want to curl up in a corner. She was supposed to get better. I'm so sorry Rae. Hopefully she will be okay.
My Grandfather died last year, and he was in and out of the hospital for about a year. One day they told us he'd be dead tomorrow, then he would end up being just fine. After getting home from the hospital one time he just went. He just got home, got in his favorite chair, and died.

Shoujo Phoenix They always have a surplus of new popular games everywhere. My brother just happened to want to play it asap...and me too gonk We're so lame.
And the MCs fail. Do not like. Several people IRL told us we'd never be able to find it either. Josh walked in and asked they guy, "You probably don't have any copies of Brawl, right?" And the guy pointed to the huge stack of games behind him. xp
I haven't played a lot so far, but amazing! I love the Ware Ware stages!!

I just want to curl up in a corner. She was supposed to get better. Wow... that sucks. I hope like hell they nail what the infection is and treat it. If you need to talk, lemme know, but you might want to try getting a little sleep so you're ready to go if things take a turn either way. Take care of yourself, Rae. Sleep has stopped being an option, I think. Managed a twenty-minute nap, but that was it. Then my mom called asking if I could do laundry for my grandfather, who won't be coming home until he has to. By now I've just resigned myself to being nearly sleepless and fixing the exhaustion with caffeine and cream cheese-salsa dip, which is a lovely contrast to a rushed, hospital cafeteria breakfast. If I'm lucky, I'll get sleep tomorrow.
Thanks you guys, the support means a lot. I really needed it.

Made a new thread to try and organize some AG SSBB games. Figured it'd be easier to do that than to try and discuss it amid backlog.

So, it happened. All his kids were there, his wife, plus his youngest daughter's husband, my dad, and myself.
Sobering experience.
