I'm going to have to start getting ready for work soon, poo. I hope today is busy otherwise it'll be boring. Though, I suppose I shouldn't really expect much because of the stupid recession. People probably want to save more money for gas too. gonk
I was hoping they'd come out with the letters before I went to work. emo

You guys are on crack. We went to the mall, walked into EB Games, and they had about 3 dozen copies of Brawl.

So last night I did my usual routine: called Kin, and went to bed around, oh, I dunno, 11 since it had been a long day. Well, the phone rings at 1:30 in the morning, and it's obvious something is wrong, even before my grandfather bursts into my room and asks what my mom's boyfriend's phone number is.
The hospital called to say my grandmother's not doing well. She wouldn't wake up and even if she opened her eyes a little, she still wouldn't respond. She was having a hard time breathing, even with all the tubes. I got there around 4:30 AM after being awake since the call, trying to deal with my cousin who kept calling and crying.
They say she's dying, but they have no idea from what. The doctor thinks it could be an infection, but he's having a hard time locating it - if it is, then all he'd need is the right anti-biotic and she'd be fine. But as it is, they say she could die today or tomorrow.
I finally had to have mom drive me home because I just can't do it anymore- the one time she woke up, she kept making these little crying noises and still couldn't talk.
I just want to curl up in a corner. She was supposed to get better.

*hugs rave* I'm sorry you're going through this. I'm also sorry if my response this morning didn't sound 100% concerned. I was like half awake when I texted back.

iBarty Mmm..french toast and bacon. Only, this time it wasn't as fun to eat because my hair seemed to like the syrup. mad I could really see you liking Monte Cristo sandwiches, if you like ham and swiss. They're ham and swiss sandwiches dipped in french toast batter.

She was supposed to get better. cry heart It's so hard... my grandpa (who was the same age as your grandma now) was in the hospital for over a month... and then my mom told me that he was getting better, and then he was just gone. But he was in pain, so at that point we were at least glad he wasn't suffering anymore. I ******** hate cancer... so scary. I wish you and her the best.

I just want to curl up in a corner. She was supposed to get better. Wow... that sucks. I hope like hell they nail what the infection is and treat it. If you need to talk, lemme know, but you might want to try getting a little sleep so you're ready to go if things take a turn either way. Take care of yourself, Rae.
