4laugh I love that game (and the other ones on that site). I think my high score was somewhere around eight million? I don't remember. I just know I sat at Zero's computer for like, several days.

So, I fear that the general level of competence at the local drive through fast food places has fallen to an all new low.
I mean, seriously, how hard is it to understand "no cheese". Some people out there might be lactose intolerant, and thus can't have dairy (not so in my case, I just don't like cheese). So why do I have to place my order at the damn speaker, and then repeat it 3 times at the window because no one understood that I did not want any cheese on my breakfast sandwich?

I tend to believe that it's not so much the level of competence that awaits me at a fast food joint ... its the level of apathy.

LunaInverse The only downside of this transfer is how it came about. I don't know if I ever explained everything that happened. Basically the b***h and her sister in law, who is also a b***h, and the director of residential programs, basically forced our site director out to make room for the b***h supervisor to take over. But apparently something went wrong with the plan, and we got a totally awesome site director. So, our old site director was transferred to another program to be their new director. And then the two bitches pulled some really dirty tricks and forced our old site director to quit the YWCA. And so the b***h supervisor is being transferred to this other program as the new site director.Maybe I'll revert to my old journalism skills and write an article about corruption within the YWCA. I'll lose my job, most likely, but oh, it would feel so good to bring those two down with me. Well, that's certainly a relief to have her gone. 3nodding

Yoko Gurren-Dan Speaking of Naruto... KOMO-TV, the ABC affiliate in Seattle, Washington, reports that a 10-year-old boy has been in critical condition at a local hospital, after being buried headfirst in a sandbox in an imitation of scenes from the Naruto anime series. Cody Porter was playing with five other children in a family friend's backyard in unincorporated Everett on Saturday when he reportedly asked them to bury him in a one-foot-deep sandbox from his head to his chest. According to Porter's half-brother whose three sons were with Porter, the incident was an attempt to recreate the attacks used by the fictional ninja from Naruto's Village Hidden in the Sand.
Porter is said to have thrashed around before the other children realized there was a problem and called for adults. The adults summoned medical help and adminstered CPR to get Porter breathing again. Medics took Porter to an Everett hospital and then to the Children's Hospital of Seattle. The broadcast television version of KOMO-TV's report included clips from the Naruto anime series and a description of the "sand ninjas." Now that's just a shame. ): I heard a bit of this but getting the whole story is kind of rattling.
