iBarty RaeRae Rave 3.14
Back from MegaCon. Soooo many bad cosplays. One or two that really made me happy. Took pictures. Somebody grabbed my a** when I wasn't looking [it was a squeeze...] and some random guy took my picture.
...and I got a pikachu hat.

Peppermint Elf Damn. I can't find the manga I want to read and I feel sick. *rolls around the floor holding her tummy*
Edit: I'M SO STUPID!!! I took a bunch of manga and put them under my bed. That's where it was. To think I just looked thru 3 big boxes, 2 bookcases, and my huge stack of manga on the floor. Yeah... I have way too much. All this "hunting" however, has made a HUGE "donate to the library" pile.

So.. miniature. I need one for my elf dude. And none of the ones my friend has look ANYTHING close. D: I know there's one store in NYC that sells miniatures and paint, but like.. gargh. I wish I wasn't so OCD about this crap.

Hey guys! Snap poll!
Has this site been unbearably slow for anyone else all month, or do I have a problem somewhere? No other site I use takes as long to load a page as Gaia, and it's driving me batshit insane. sad

There's a really good chance that there's one within a 20 mile or so radius of you... the East Coast is ******** thick with gaming shops. And when you go, don't restrict yourself to merely any D&D figures... there's a lot of decent elven stuff in the Warhammer Fantasy figures... or even some of the Eldar stuff from Warhammer 40K.

I've come up with two stores that have them and are nearby. But they have a way smaller selection than the one in NYC, since that's a specialty shop. And I think they're all in those 5-piece boxes.
