But that's my rant for today.
I know a lot of people who feel like that. But Spanish isn't mandatory yet, so you're fine for now. ;]
I kind of want to brush up on my Vietnamese. I'd like to speak it to my kids, and Ryan wants to learn with me. He has a very good ear for language, and I've taught him silly little phrases like "Are you hungry? I'm not hungry. I'm full already" and he knows random words and pronouns (a good head start - pronouns in Vietnamese are a pain in the a**.)
And sometimes when I'm pissed he'll tell me, "You're very pretty. I love you." My heart melts and I could just die.
Eh, true. But with how things are right now, it almost feels like it is mandatory.
If I had to guess Mexicans/Hispanics out number Whites 3 - 1. And of the 3 - 1 ratio 2 of the 3 Mexicans/Hispanics speak little to no english.
And I think that's what pisses me off the most, that they hardly know english.
stare I mean if I were to live in another country I'd try to learn as much as I could before going there. Or at least enough to get by while studying to learn more.
I can probably understand more Spanish then I can speak, but certainly not enough to save my life.
Sign Language on the other hand I can understand quiet alot of. I just can't sign enough to have a conversation.
sweatdrop lol That's so cute and sweet of Ryan. I say your really lucky to have someone who's willing to learn another language for you.
3nodding heart Pyre: Personally I don't think that's enough to keep you from beta testing.
Then again what do I know, the only warning I've had was letting something slip about beta the first day I got in.
emo Which is why I've bottled myself up, and don't talk about anything regarding beta, even though several things have been released to the public now.
emo Pasta: I'm a complete p***y when it comes to spiders, vinaigrettes, roaches.
