One of my best friends from elementary school and high school that I haven't really talked to in about three years (not for lack of trying on my part) just called me to chat and tell me how much she misses me.
I'd forgotten how much I missed talking to her.

Hey Pasta One of my best friends from elementary school and high school that I haven't really talked to in about three years (not for lack of trying on my part) just called me to chat and tell me how much she misses me.
I'd forgotten how much I missed talking to her. Coincidently, I just ran into somebody I went to high school with today. Not that I talked to her or anything, she was quite annoying back then. Probably still is. Also, in sad news, we only have one remaining soldier from world war I left. It's kind of sad to think that we're not going to have anybody left from that war anymore.

It's kind of sad to think that we're not going to have anybody left from that war anymore. i read that too, and that Canada and the UK are in the same position - one each. it's so the forgotten war. it wasn't sexy with a well-defined horror for an enemy, it was pointless, and it was just completely ******** miserable all around. nobody wants to think about it.

Woo. I got accepted into the Gaia Beta Tester program. o_o I wasn't expecting it. xd I figured out of all those applications I wouldn't get picked~ Then again, I don't know how many people they were letting in this round. Meh.
Today is a day of good news all around, I guess. First my boyfriend was going to be fired but then they changed their minds, and my bunny is ultra cute, and now this. Sure, the Gaia thing is the least important in the long run, but, it's still a bit of good news. x3
Hey, now if the lottery ticket he bought won ... then that would be the best.

So how is the other side doing? Do we win by default 3-0? But I agree, everything is done about WWII or even Vietnam because there's no footage of WWI. I mean, all you get is All's Quiet on the Western Front and a mention in a documentary or two. There really should be a video game or something to really show people just how shitty it really was.

Having your car not start when you headed home from dinner is so not fun.
Thankfully, it was mom's van, and dad was with us, sadly we had to wait for Todd to come and jump-start us. gonk
The other day I was at the market with my oldest nephew, looking at something, when this old lady comes up and starts talking to me in spanish.
I may be a quarter hispanic don't assume I speak spanish, especially when I look white, cause I don't speak it.
Grandma never taught mom or her siblings to speak spanish growing up, and which is why I was never taught it.
Thankfully, I know enough to say, "******** off and don't bother me" in a nice way.
I.E. "No habla espanol", that and to ask where the bathroom is "Donde esta el bano?"
You'd think with the way that California is turning back into a Mexican state I'd pick up on speaking spanish.
But really, I like the fact that I can be ignorant and not understand what they're saying.
That and Spanish never appealed to me so I don't want to learn anymore then I know, no matter how beneficial it'd be to me.
But that's my rant for today.

Honestly, nothing against religion or anything, but seriously, if I wanted to read a bunch of pro-religion stories I'd pick up a ******** religious literary magazine. I'm getting so ******** tired of reading these stories for class. About 80% of these damn things are just so over the top pro-religion that's it's just getting ridiculous. This really must be what complete burnout is like because I'm honestly about the write the prof and tell him I refuse to critique another one of these stories unless I'm allowed to start bitching about the lack of any sort of discernible plot or agenda besides telling about how great God is.
You know, I really have tried to become tolerant of overbearing religious people, especially given the fact that these people are all around, but you know, it gets really ******** old really damn quick. It's really tempting to write a really anti-religious story in response to all this.

I don't understand why he even said the freakin' L word if he's not going to do a damned thing afterwards. I'm so glad I was the stonecold b***h that said I didn't feel comfortable with reciprocating the same feelings, but it doesn't mean they aren't there or growing! But this leaving alone crap will seriously kill it. What's that quote? "Friendship, like love, is destroyed by long absence, though it may be increased by short intermissions." (Samuel Johnson) Is it intermission of this damned soap opera yet?!
Off topic: My muse, Clio, has been asleep all day. O.o I feel very unproductive. Wow. This is ******** bizarre. PM to follow when I'm awake.

What kind of warning was it for Pyre? Cause I'm sure depending on what kind of warning it was, it might not matter. I say if you don't get an invite in, ...two weeks or so then it's likely you weren't chosen this time around.
