iBandGeek Terra of the Lilies My reeds are usually fine. I use Vandoren size 2 1/2, and they've always been fine. I get them in a box of ten, and they're individually wrapped, too. xd oh i like it wen they're individually wrapped!! but i have a hard time opening them lol =3 but my lessons techer is making me go to 3 1/2 which i'm betting is going to be hard for me. TT___TT I know, it's awesome. =D
I want to try a larger sized reed, I've been on 2 1/2 since the end of fourth grade. xd But with braces, I'll probably wait awhile. I haaaaaate these stupid braces. >_<

Are there like, exercises you can do to make your tongue move faster? If there are, do those a lot, I guess.

i've found that its really hard to tongue fast when your mouth is dry, so maybe drinking lots of water will help?...but i also think working your way up to the speed you need to play the notes helps a lot.

Yeah, otherwise your tongue sticks to your mouth and lips and stuff. It isn't fun. Maybe you could keep a water bottle with you, if you're allowed to. At my school we need special permission, and I haven't talked to anyone about it yet.

Spurple yo2yo2kid I play alto sax. All saxophone have the same fingerings so you could play almost any of them if you could play just one. Yeah, that's what I heard. My friend has a soprano sax... I wanna play one of those. 3nodding the soprano is SUPER easy. i love it.
