Expecting to have the furry yellow spider come at her, she was quite shocked when he didn't. She was furious... Why wasn't he attacking her? This wasn't the way that it was supposed to go... She wanted blood, but if he ran away like a little coward, than there would be no blood... No, she couldn't let him get away. She started to run after him... If she could fly, she could catch up to him in no time, but for now, she had to run.
"Stop!" Celeste was all for defeating the little critter when he wanted to kill her, but chasing him when he was running away was pointless. "I promise, there will be more battles." And with that, Celeste returned Artemis back to her pokeball before the Skarmory had the chance to disobey her.
It was time to keep going, besides she must be close to some kind of exit anyway. [8/10]

Just a little further now... She should be reaching the exit any minute now. She had to wonder what would be after that exit though. She could turn around at any moment, and go back to the academy now that she had the Amber... But there was so much left to be explored. She'd be upset with herself if she didn't get as much exploring done as possible. [9/10]

Normal Pokemon was a matter of perspective, as Lyuk would soon discover. Every location had a different definition of normal...and here, that usually meant blood thirsty and paranoid. An ear shattering roar would soon fill the air around him as something screeched high above. The beat of large wings would come from high overhead, followed by the heavy sound of something striking the ground. Standing larger then the boy, with roars of pointed, bloodstains teeth, the creature had a body made of stone, ancient and craggy from a long life. Her eyes burned with only one thing...hunger...and the boy would be her next meal.
Lyuk's first true meeting with a Pokemon would be an unfortunate one. He was now met with the scourge of ancient skies...Aerodactyl.

Though Celeste would find as she continued her walk through the crater that the closer she got to the end the more cactus seemed to come out to greet her. It had started off at first as one or two, and quickly turned to ten and eleven and now she was currently walking though a cactus patch with so many cactus that moving around them was no longer an easy task.
The shuffling of feet would see one cactus suddenly closer than the other. Another bit of shuffling feet would find that the path she had originally traveled was now blocked by more and more of those thorny creatures. Until finally one in particular would look at her ...eyes on a cactus wasn't normal.

Perhaps knocking him in the head would knock some sense into him... but the chance was low; his defense could prevent Ami from doing so.

Only a few more steps… Celeste was so close to finding her way out of this crater that she thought she’d make her way out without meeting another pokemon. Which was probably a good thing because most of the pokemon she had met in this crater turned out to be pretty crazy. Lost in thought, Celeste had barely noticed that she was dodging and moving around cactuses. She hadn’t really noticed how many cactuses there was until she realized how much of a workout it was just to move around these things… But Celeste was so close to getting out that she payed no attention to it and kept going… That is, until her path was completely blocked. That was also when she noticed the cactus with eyes… A pokemon!
"Excuse me... Do you mind letting me through?" She knew asking the pokemon if she could pass through was a bit silly, but it was worth a shot.

It would shake it's entire body in a representative of a no. Though it didn't do anything but settles back down as it waited for her to make the first move. It would seem that there was no simply talking her way through, but the catcus wasn't making any kind of movements at all.

So, asking the Cacnea if she could pass through obviously didn’t work… Not that she was surprised about that fact. But what she didn't understand was what the Cacnea wanted... Did it want to battle? Why was it just standing there? She needed to get through, which meant she had to figure out what exactly she Cacnea wanted from her.
“Is it a battle you want?” She reached for the pokeball in which Artemis was resting and called out the Skarmory. She waited for the Cacnea's reaction. Skarmory ~ Artemis

It would seem that not only was the Pokemon's hide nigh impenetrable, so was his ego! ">I simply tell Pokemon the truth, if they aren't able to handle it that's their problem<" The Shieldon added with a snuff, then began to paw at the ground ">Now lets see about breaking a few of those bones...I think it'll be an improvement!<" Stamping his feet against the ground, the Shieldon would charge forward recklessly. It was another Tackle attack, plain and simple....but would Ami be able to handle it?

Snover would try to attempt to climb the tree the Kecleon had just climbed. Although, he would soon come to realize that he wasn't really the climbing type. He couldn't get a good grip of the bark, so he found it pointless to continue.
"Snover, just try to aim around the area the Kecleon was at and use Powder Snow."
The only option Snover had was just try to find the Kecleon and hopefully find, hit, and damage the menacing beast. He aimed at various places and used Powder Snow, all around the area where the Kecleon was at. Hopefully hitting the Kecleon and bringing him down.

Yuna looked about again and began to wondered why there was no pokemon in her way yet, she wondered what was happening. She walked down the path thinking on what stratagies she could use with a water type agains a grass type, she tried to make her way around the type disadvantage. She could hear the movings of pokemon as well as feel the eyes on her. She shivered slightly as a cold breeze blew through the trees. She hoped she wouldnt come up against a grass type but she would still fight her way through if nesicary.

Again she would continue uninterupted, she was beginning to fell as if the pokemon were just toying with her. She looked forward and saw only darkness. She was to find a chunk of Amber and catch at least one more pokemon for her team. Yuna walked on making sure not to trip over anything. She would hate to be tripped up and a pokemon appear then. She listened for sounds of movement, a rustling or something to tell her a pokemon was near.

Yuna sighed as she continued with no pokemon encounters. She wouldnt mind even a grass type but for pokemon to be scarce in a forest was strange to her. She walked a little faster as she felt a percing glare on her just then. She felt this glare follow her. Yuna began to get nervious.
