The pens scattered across Bast's desk and started rapidly filling out the mounds of paperwork they had brought in. There wasn't much left for her to do at this point other than allow the transition of power to proceed smoothly. This would be one of the last times she sat on this side of the desk, and she honestly felt a bit concerned about the sudden liberation headed toward her like a freight train. From now on she'd be able to sleep in a bed or on a roof or in the rafters rather than just in a chair. Perhaps she'd find a cactus and beat someone to death with it. The possibilities were endless!

I was thinking maybe we could take a group and go investigate what is going on. Ayame was already busying herself with her newfound liberties and responsibilities, Bast noticed. No sooner had the girl left than she was back again, this time with a job offer for her forebear.
"Certainly, Lady Kage," Bast responded, "but I would ask that you let me move my things out first. I'll meet you at the Gates shortly."
The woman's clone grabbed quickly started emptying the desk of what few personal items were in it, then took the tea kettle and hot plate across the hall to the kitchen. The skull teacup was reverse-summoned back to the woman's estate for later use. As Bast herself fetched the sphinx cat, she realized with some surprise that she hadn't been addressed with any honorific. She shrugged the feeling off and called Mononoke down from the rafters, gave the golem the cat, and sent the two away to her estate. Then she turned toward the rest of the assembled group.

Hearing Theodin was a bit surprised at how quick his mom had returned to the office. Ayame patted Daichi on the head as they appeared in the office with the rest of the crew. She turned to them, "Alright everyone...go train and do as you wish. Some of you may come back once you have trained. I know that some of you have gained enough experience that it is time for you to join the higher ranks, consider yourselves at the higher rank. You all showed tremendous courage and very good teamwork. Theodin thank you for calming us. Aika I know you were told to leave the battlefield, but you attacked the UHV as well. Kaori, Nova, you both did a great job taking out some of the grunts in the hospital and helping the new Hokage. Go train....all of you. We need you at the peak of your abilities in case anything was to happen. I will be joining you later." Ayame then sat behind the desk and rubbed at her temples she would need to make herself a clone and go train as well. Hopefully there wasn't much that needed her attention in the village. Kaori and Nova blinked, disoriented from the sudden travel, they'd never traveled like that before. At Ayame's words, they both nodded,
"Yes, Lady Ayame."Kaori said with a smile. Nova bowed her head and turned, ready to leave and train more. "Perhaps we can find your Beau." The large tiger commented with the feline equivilant of a smirk on her face. Kaori flushed dark red,"Nova!"She hissed as they walked from the room.

Ayame walked into the office and went off to a room and changed into her new clothes and armor. Her clone dissipated she then whistled out the window knowing Daichi would here her. She sat at the desk and looked around......she took a deep breath and thanked Bast even though she wasn't there. The woman had had faith in her to do this, so she would not fail.

James slipped inside the office once more and kissed the Kazekage with a smile before flopping into the spot on the couch that he had claimed for his own years before when he had sat in front of Mamarou as a late blooming genin orphan from the Sands. It seemed the couch was the only thing still the same.
Lady walked to the door after getting some advise from the guy in the Academy, she was happy that she would finally meet the Kazekage. Hiro walked up and bumped the door open and simply walked in, Lady walked in after him and rolled her eyes. She could tell that Hiro was agitated and she stood in the doorway " Lady Kazekage? " She noticed that she was in here with a man, she blushed and looked at the man... he wasn't that bad looking. Hiro looked at the pair and sat down on the couch and began to lounge.
Hiro looked around the room and gruffed 'it smells like dog in here. ' He was highly annoyed to be surrounded by humans and dogs... besides Lady.
