"H-hey!" Ea exclaimed, a bright flush on his cheeks. "I'm not a stalker!!" he replied slightly angrilly, a scowl evident on his lips. "If you ever call me that again I'll bite you." Usually, Ea was a good sport when it came to teasing. When it came to this, however, he couldn't take the jibes -- not when it came to his precious brother or the way that he was so protective of the small boy. "And I promise you that it won't be nearly so enjoyable as my usual bites." He sent the man a dark-eyed glare for a moment -- that is, until the man ruffled his hair, at which time his eyes squeezed shut and his shoulders raised, a scattering of pink forming on his cheeks as the corners of his mouth curved down into a pout.

"Nnnn, don't do that, Wei! My hair's already enough of a mess," he muttered, raising a hand in an attempt to smooth his hair back down. He seemed to have calmed down at least somewhat, but he was still a bit mad at the man.

"Anyway, we should get going. I hope the rain's slowed...." With that, he exited the room to find Liao already ready. Black eyes blinekd slowly and then Ea smiled -- a smile that was incredibly bright and happy, something that was completely uncharicteristic for the mongoose.

"Eeeeh, Liao, you look cute today~" Ea murmured with a grin, giving the boy a small salute. Liao frowned slightly, brow furrowed, and shrugged slowly, fingers fidgiting slightly with the hem of his shirt.

"Why's Wei being so slow?" the boy asked at last.

"Because he's an idiot man," Ea replied, grinning cheerily. Fortunately, he'd managed to avoid the man's question about being embarrassed. He really didn't know how to answer that at the moment.

"Oi, who's calling me an idiot?" The snake asked with a frown, pushing the mongoose's head down, ruffling his hair. "If someone hadn't taken such a long shower I would've been done earlier," Wei muttered, green eyes holding something close to mirth as he glanced at Liao, "Ready to go, Kitten~?" He asked, moving his attention from Ea to the little cat before him with a grin.

Ea glanced back up at Wei, looking slightly disgruntled and deffinately playful as he stuck his tongue out at the man. "Lucky for you I didn't take all the hot water. Next time I won't be so nice," he replied, a mock-defiant expression on his countenance. He glanced back over to Liao, then, and offered the boy another smile.

Liao glanced between the pair, slightly miffed about how the two could be so completely teasing and just... crazy all the time. Most of the people the boy had known had been adults -- serious, condescending, and mean. Ea and Wei were quite different from Liao's image of what older people -- people who were older than himself rather than just those advanced in their years -- were like. "Yeah... I'm ready." He glanced between the two, gray eyes finally settling upon the bleach-haired teen. "Where are you guys... going, anyway? What are you buying?"

Ea shrugged and smiled. "I'm throwing a Christmas Ever party. I've got most things ready, but I need to pick up some food and stuff.... And I need to stop and get the plants I ordered," the teen murmured, glancing for a moment over to Wei. Of course, by 'plants' he meant 'mistletoe.' He offered Wei a grin and then exclaimed, "Well, time to be off! Wei, are you driving or are we taking public transportation?"

((RPing by myself isn't very fun. *Needs a RP partner*))

Kaya stood in the middle of his bathroom, blow drying his long white hair. He held a sky blue colored brush in his left hand and the dryer in his right, playing the hot air over his hair as he ran the brush behind it swiftly. 100 strokes for both sides and a few extra seconds of hot air, then he grabbed the purple hairband laying on the sink nearby and pulled his hair into a ponytail, as was his usual style.

He walked out into the main part of his apartment, wearing only a bright green towel wrapped loosely around his slender waist. All three of his tattoos were clearly visible now to anyone who happened to see the 14 year old as he dug through his dresser for a pair of briefs and a shirt.

"I finally got my freaking car fixed, so we can just take that," Wei murmured, wrapping an arm around each of the brothers with a grin. "I'm just coming for the mere experience of shopping with you two, and to make Ea's day a living hell," he said with the same grin. "I do need to pick up presents and stuff though, I know it's a little late but hey, better late then never."

"Unless you get someone a really bad gift," Ea added, shooting the man a grin from beneath glittery black eyes. Liao, for his part, bore the man's arm without verbal complaint, though there was a certain reluctance in his expression as a half-pout, half-scowl formed upon the brightly-haired youth's features.

"Anyway, Wei, I don't know if you've forgotten or what but it's raining," Ea said, giving the man a slightly playful jab in the side with the point of his index finger. "You want us to get wet walking? I don't think there'll be ceilings all the way out."

Stretching his long legs out in front of him, Roux squirmed in the overstuffed armchair. The store was packed this afternoon, he noted, not too surprised since December was the shopping month. What did surprise him was how loud the store was. It was a bookstore for god's sake, surely it should be as quiet as a library? This was his favorite store because it was settled far back into the shopping outlet and usually graveyard quiet. Unconsciously curling his top lip, Roux stood with his selection of the day. His shoulder length black hair was pulled into a ponytail, displaying the silvery sheen he could not dye away. Despite the gripping power of the rubber band, a chunk had slipped out and fallen into his face. He did not notice.
The counter didn't have a line, which he hadn't expected, and he was quickly checked through and free to walk out the door. Knowing the temperature would have climbed two or three degrees since he had entered the store, he left his jacket unzipped. His scarf would be enough to keep his throat warm.

((It seems as if I've been using some version of blue for so many of my characters lately... haha, probably cos my fave color is blue right now. x3;;;; ))

Pale hands skirted the bindings of many a book, only seldom stopping and then for not very long. He'd read most of these books already -- many of them of good length, as well -- and was looking for something new. The shop keep had said they'd gotten a new one in -- and the man knew that fair-haired boy well enough to give such confidences, as Sebastien had been a faithful customer and friend for many years. At last, the boy stopped altogether, a bright smile spreading widely across his rosy lips, his cheeks flushed with an eager glow that was half excitement and half induced from the fresh coldness of the open air, which he had only just come out of. Pale fingers reached forwards and grasped the book in his hands, pulling it out with a careful practice (for the book had to be over seven-hundred pages long) and then running in a quite childish manner, his silky locks flying askew, to the counter.

"Eeeeeeeric," the boy called, though the shop keep was no more than perhaps two feet from the boy, behind the shop coutner as he was. "Eric, Eric, Eric!" he exclaimed excitedly, until the man finally turned. There was a broad, happy grin on Sebastien's features -- such a strange expression for one to have in response for having found the sort of book that the boy had sought.

The man smiled, took the book, scanned it and handed it back as Sebastien paid for it, and quite eagerly at that. He was obviously much too excited to stand still and the moment he had recieved his change and receit, he set off dashing across the book store (though quite carefuly), the hefty tome clutched protectively to his chest.

And yet it just so happened that there was a figure, pausing a moment too long, just outside the frame of the door. Sebastien, in all his intense excitement and euphoria, was not at all mindful of this possibility and had soon been sent, with a clatter, into this foreign figure. Head slightly bumped, and face flushed from coupled embarrassment and cold. Fortunately, the boy had a light frame and so the man would likely not be affected to greatly, but Sebastien himself had been sent sprawling, making quite the impedement in the flow of shoppers. He picked himself up quickly and, looking quite thoroughly embarrassed, glanced quickly over to the man he had so carelessly and recklessly bumped into.

"E-eeeeeh, sorry about that..." he mumbled sheepishly, a bright pink tinge forming on his cheeks.

((Haha, there's probably a bajillian typos in this post cos I typed at rocket speed and didn't check it over! 8D;; ))

"Eh, I said we were taking my car, did I not?" Wei grabbed the mongoose's wrists in order to keep the younger male from poking him repeatedly. "And it's in the apartment's parking garage so we won't have to walk outside at all until we get to the mall, in which case I have an umbrella," the snake muttered, green eyes narrowed as he stared down at Ea. "Ch, and there you were tryin' to make me look bad."

((ftw, my eyes must have been playing tricks on me. I thought it was weird for Wei to say "my car just got fixed so let's walk." 8D;;;;; *idiot*

Ohyurs, and sorry Tato about not being able to wait with my Sebbyboi. There's too much to read up on in your RP and I was itching to RP my little cuttlefish. D: <333

Forgive me, pleases? I'll make an attempt at drawing Wea. xD;;; ))

Ea grumbled something indistict under his breath, rolled his eyes at the man, and then contented himself with one last jibe before he gave up and settled his arm around the man's shoulder. "...futwhatever, s'not my fault...." was all that could be discerned from his words. So he was a bit mad at Wei at the moment, but it'd pass -- it always did, usually when they were alone and... doing things that Ea really did want Liao to know about. In fact, he had a whole other part of himself, which Wei knew quite well, that Ea did not wish the boy to find out about.

Gray eyes glanced between the two, for once surprisingly observant, before the returned to look ahead of himself. After a moment, the boy mumbled, "Wei, I always get lost in your apartment. I think it'd be best if you led the way... kay?" he murmured, slightly unsure. They had been standing there doing practically nothing other than making unuseful jibes at one another for over a minute, after all. Ea grinned and wiggled his way out of the man's grasp so that he could grab his and Liao's coats and scarves, passing the smaller garments to the one they belonged to before donning his own. Liao did the same.

Roux had just been thinking about how he should have brought an umbrella when he suddenly was propelled a few steps forward. Whirling around, he saw a light-colored child hit the floor.
"Are you alright? I'm so sor-" He stopped midsentence when he realized he had not accidentally sent a child to the floor, but a teenager. Small for his age, Roux thought to himself. Before he could extend his hand to help, he boy was up and apologizing.
"No, no, it was my fault. I'm sorry." He bent down and swept the heavy book up off the floor. Offering it to the blushing boy, Roux smiled. "Are you alright?"
Normally he would have moved out of the way of the pedestrian traffic, but something about the bloodthirsty consumeristic habits of people during the holidays made him enjoy slowing up their rabid hunts.
PostPosted: Mon Dec 03, 2007 4:37 pm

It was true -- Sebastien was rather small for his age. He was lacking a bit in inches, though not by much, with his full height drawing up to no more than five feet and seven inches. More than that, though, he had an incredibly petite form -- one ideal for squirming into the tiniest of hiding spaces or for fleeing an aggressor with nothing more than speed and deception at his side. One pale, cream-colored hand raised to push back equally pale, but blond, strands of silken hair. Those locks were almost unbelievably straight and fell in such perfect alignment that it was almost like seeing one of the fabled golden children of myths and old fairy's tales not set before Roux in full, if modern, beauty.

Bright emeralds raised to meet tha man's eyes -- and if Roux were so attentive as his species implied, he might notice the slight odd shape of the boy's pupils, though they were nowhere near the shape they took when he underwent his half-animal state.

The moment the other offered up the book, the boy took it, his hands eager. He searched the book over carefully, making absolutely certain that it had undergone no scratch or tear. Finally satisfied with what he found, his gaze returned to look steadily upon the man, whom he had, or so Sebastien thought, wronged, a small smile spreading across those large lips. "Yes, thank you. But you, are you alright? It really is my fault -- I wasn't at all paying attention to where I was going."

[[What is this 'ftw' you speak of? ********?? gonk

Never forgiven!! scream Jk, I love you. Your typos make me smile. :> My typos make me smile as well, I have about a 50% success rate when typing Penn's name, it often comes out as Peen, no pun intended.]]

Wei shrugged on a jacket before leading the way out into the hall. Stuffing his hands into his pocket with a clearly unamused expression, the snake was so concerned with his own thoughts that he didn't see the young man flailing towards him at top speed...it didn't help that Wei's senses were below average when he was in a human form, either. Nevertheless, whatever the reason, the snake was caught wholly off-guard as a certain black cat tackled him.

"Wei~! Zuuttooo! You're my favorite, you know that, ne?" Chang was clearly in a good mood, for any contact with the snake was usually ended with both men hissing and glaring their eyes out at eachother. However, the cat was in a good mood, maybe it was because Christmas was soon, or perhaps, Chang had just ruined his twin's life over again. Arms clasped around the snake's neck, the cat peered up with brown-yellow eyes, "Ehh, why're you so dressed up, going somewhere special~?"

So there he was, sprawled halfway on the ground with Chang of all people. Blinking back his shock, the snake huffed out a growl, "What the <********> are you doing? Get off me. You're not exactly as light as you'd like to think, Cat."

"N-o-t-h-i-n-g," Chang spelled out, "I just wanted to tell you that you were the best and--" The cat's nose twitched a bit as Liao and Ea made their exit. Dark eyes narrowed lightly as they fell upon the white-haired teen. Wei stunk of him, and that meant only one thing when it came to the snake... "And I wanted to ask if you were busy later today, hn~?"

"I shouldn't have stopped, really."
He paused, his head tilting quite subtly to the left and looked the boy's face over thoroughly. Smiling again, he leaned forward and down until their eyes were level, shining green to sharp gold.
"You have beautiful eyes," the dark-haired man said.
He straightened as quickly as he had bent and smiled again. "Could I buy you a cup of coffee or something to make it up to you?"
Roux was quickly thinking through all of the eye-shapes he had ever seen, but nothing matched the blonde's. Perhaps it was a genetic defect, as surely as the color blue or sickle-shaped blood cells were. He made a mental note to research this later. It always thrilled him when he ran into something he did not know. His thirst for knowledge was impossible to quench. In his life he had gotten very far on what he knew, so being reminded he was not as smart as everyone thought he was pleased him.
