I've seen the first kanji a lot and I know that it's matsu, does it have other meanings?
And the second one is hon?
Is that right? What's it supposed to mean? xD
Shouldn't it be 日本？

Annyyway it just says, yeah, "Matsumoto." Maybe there's some significance to the fact that 松本 is the exact spelling of hide's last name? (no sarcasm intended^^; )
"Matsu"･松 almost always means "pine tree," "spruce," or "fir" in context. It can also mean "the best" or "highest ranking" on occasion...
"Hon"･"moto"･本 means "book," a counter for cylindrical stuff, "main," "prominent," or as moto: "origin."
Oh. And I have no idea why he put "Matsumoto" on there. It's not anything common and has no meaning in Japanese culture that I know of (LOL).
