Just coming from the green house, Medei breathed a sigh of relief. "Now I won't be tempted to touch the flowers." She said more to herself. Actually, it was to herself, considering she was walking alone. Taking a look at the scene in front of her, she gave a tiny smile. An obstacle course, a few benches, and a tree that looked inviting. "An apple tree at that..." She said quietly. She was one for trees and high places where she could look around, like the hill that accompanied the tree. Slowly making her way to it, Medei enjoyed the slight breeze that she felt as she walked. The weather was lovely, it truely was. Warm, yet a nice breeze. Being that it was a bit dark, she let her hands glow. The phoenix inside her wanted to torch her clothes and come out, but she kept it rather restrained. She didn't want to scare anyone away. She actually thought she might like to make friends at this school.

Shinku smiled as he watched the fox run away. He hopped to his feet, chasing the fox. "Get back here you!!" He tackled the fox playfully. "And who might YOU be?..." He pet the fox softly, smiling. foxes were his absolute FAVORITE animal. Observing the foxes' features, he noted. "Youre an odd one, arent you? Where are you from?"

Sitting atop the hill, Medei closed her eyes, and thought about the day she'd had. Wanting to touch all the beautiful flowers, though afraid another 'accident' would happen. She ceased the glowing, and decided that it would be better to just lie there, enjoying the weather. She wasn't sure when it would be this beautiful. The weather itself, had a mind of it's own, as far as she was concerned.

Koichi looked over, frowning slightly at her words. He gave a soft chuckle, bringing up his hand around beind her before grabbing her gently by the shoulder and pulling her to him. "Silly, Kitty," he said softly, "I told you it was alright. There's nothing to be sorry about. After all, I knew it was going to happen, and I beieve we told you too... just don't worry about it," he finished, realizing he probably made no sense to her, since he made little sense to himself.

Michael walked into the playground with an emotionless face. He had just gotten back from the war and he still could remember the faces of his brothers of war dying before him. It was terrible that he hadnt been here in awhile but now he was and hopped to stay and see Carly at least once.
The cold winter breeze kicked in now and he felt his face begin to numb. Michael stopped the wind and rubbed his face to warm it abit. "Such a cold winter it will be," he said to himself as he looked across the playground. "I have missed this place," he said to the ground as he walked to the swing set. Michael had a wound in his chest from the war and his sword had been shattered due to an attack from a powerful foe. The pain came and went but when he sat down it hurt like the wound had been opened again. Michael winced and held it abit before trying to relax.

Carly walked into the playground, her boots skuffing the dirt as she walked. Following her was Timmy, her bags attached to his saddle. They just came back from their homeland, a war broke loose with a fellow village, and her shamanic healing was needed to cure the sick...and raise a few of the dead. "I havent seen this place in a bit, eh boy," she muttered, her gaze on the ground. "Yeah...guess so," Timmy replied, his metal shoes clicking as he walked behind her moping form. "I...miss-," she didnt finsish, only glanced back at Timmy. He just gave her a sympathetic look "I know," he replied, looking around the place. "It hasnt changed much...at all really." "Yeah...sept one thing is different...someones missing," she said, her usually energetic voice monotone. She sat down on a swing, pushing herself gently backa and forth, leaning her head on the metal chain that connected the swing to the top pole. 'Micheal...'

Michael grinded his teeth and let the pain subside, he felt he might lose consciousness if it kept of. Always something hurting him now adays. Michael heard a familiar voice and looked across from the big swing set to see Carly with Timmy on the far end. Michael smiled and snuck over analyzing the movements of the swing and as he reached Carly's back he gently grabbed the swing and pushed abit harder. "This is unexpected," he said happily laughing abit. "How long has it been," he said crouching behind Carly and resting his head on her shoulder while stopping the swing.

Carly grinned like a mad women, her eyes huge, and her breathing stopped. "Micheal?" She questioned, slowly sturning around in her suspended seat. At the sight of him she dover backwards, tackling him to the ground in a hug "My god! How I missed you!!!" She attached her arms around his neck, buring her head in the side of his neck. "I havent seen you in forever," she spoke into his neck. Timmy just smiled, then dashed off in the direction of Carly's dorm 'I'll give them some time alone,' he though as he cantered off.

Michael smiled and ran his fingers through Carly's hair, soft and silky it was between them. He spoke again as he had forgotten about his pain for once, "I've missed you too. I never thought to see you so soon but I'm overjoyed now." Michael put his arm around Carly's back and kept running his fingers through her hair. It had been awhile since he had held her like this and it was well worth savoring to him.

Her fluffed-up tail wrapped its self around his leg as if to hold on to him...as if it was afraid to lose him again. "I thought...you were gonna be...um, dead." She said, tear on the edge of her golden eyes. "I remembered that pain you were in...and I figured it worsened," she spoke softly, "and I assumed the worse became of it."

Michael kissed where the tear had fallen and smiled, "I'm fine, that curse is over with I think, even though the sigma remains. I was almost killed though, twice actually," he said openning his shirt to reveal his scare that stretched across his chest. It wen from his left shoulder to his right thigh. Michael had almost died of blood lose and impalement. "But I'm fine now," he finished lookign into her eyes, "You are still as beautiful as you once were."

Carly blushed. After all this time, he still had that effect on her. "Thank you," she said, kissing his forehead, "and your just as handsome as ever." She smiled, then rand her fingers gently over the scar. "Are you sure your okay? Did you have this checked? Double checked? For infection? When was the last time you fought with this wound? Are you feeling okay?" So said all these questions so fast it sounded like one sentence.

Michael smiled, "It's fine, no need to worry, it just aches sometimes, and I wont die from it unless it fully opens so I have to be careful," he said soflty. Michael smiled at her comment more and then replied, "thank you aswell." He had almost forgotten that someone actually cared if he lived or died and this brought him the greatest joy. Though he had been to war his mind was always on Carly uless he was deflesting attacks and hacking away the enemy.

She smiled at this, "Okay...the make sure you be careful! I wouldnt be able to loose you again." She attacked herself around his neck again. She liked this. She took a deep breath, taking in his scent, before looking at him again and smiling. "So," she began, "whatever happened to Cid...ever kill him?"

Michael still looking into her eyes responded, "No, I kept my word that I wouldn't kill him and he still lives for now anyway. "I wouldn't want you to loose me, so I kept my wortd and never fought him, just to make sure I stayed alive and kept my word to you. I still feel for you as I do now," he said softly as he continued to stroke her hair with his fingers.
