Rhaim was glad when he heard the girl take off before he had a chance to start counting. He was a firm believer in the thought that the only fair fight was the one that you won. He truly wanted to see this girl pass the training and he wanted to see her do it while using every edge that she could possibly place her grasp on. He turned to face the tree and closed his eyes to count to ten for yet another interation. Once he was complete he began his familiar slow walk through the trees, staring out over the training area in search of the small girl. He had to admit that she seemed much more focused and determined in this training than he did. Nothing too glaring popped out at him and so he more or less looked for a place that he thought would appeal to the girl. Though he had transformed into her once, he had no clue as to how her mind worked. He had no idea how any girls mind worked for that matter, despite how much his sisters would harrass him.

With a slight grin Tenma heard the boy's voice and the whistling of the candy in the wrong direction. She stood, covered in dust, and looked over at him. Not even close. Her voice was still small like she was, but it still loud enough for him to hear her. As she began walking over to him she brushed dust off her clothing now that she didn't need the cover color.

Reaching where he was standing she looked at him and smiled, though her smile was slight and hardly noticable. Thank you for working with me, she found it difficult to look at anyone she wasn't familiar with for any extended amount of time, so she went into her usual default mode and looked at her dusted feet. I honestly appreciate it.

Rhaim shrugged as the girl came up to him from the opposite direction and proved that she was better at hiding then he was at seeking. He slowly walked down the base of the tree as she thanked him for aiding her training. His hands stayed in his pockets, "Yeah, you're really good. Anything else you want help with?"

Rhaim leaned his back against the tree and watched the girl fidget with herself. Though his social skills weren't exactly top notch, he could tell that she was clearly uncomfortable. Maintaining his usual motionlessness, "Or if you'd rather I'll just let you be."

Tenma's head snapped up a bit when she heard the Nara, Oh, no, not at all. I actually quite enjoy training with you. Her words were quickly trying to make up for her mistake. Honestly, she enjoyed him companionship. Her training was also seemingly more affective when he was assisting her. Searching for something, anything, to say she decided to tell him what she had left to do. Maybe something would spark his interest. Well, I do have the taijutsu and nawanuke no jutsu assignments still to do Before she realized it she was screaming at herself, in her head of course. Now it seemed like she was forcing her assignments on the boy. That is, only if you want to do them again. I won't dare try to force them on you. Mentally she slapped herself for being socially inept. This boy would probably add to the toll of people that thought she was some sort of freak.

Rhaim nodded his head and slowly stepped away from the tree towards the younger girl. He considered whether he'd be able to help her with the Nawanuke without another student to be tied with her and decided that then it would lose much of its training value. That left the taijutsu. Fortuneately he was better with ranged weapons than close combat so he wouldn't have as much of an advantage over her. If any. For all he knew she could be a taijutsu master.

The Nara still showed no emotion despite his mental smiling. Taking his hands from his pockets and stretching his arms from all of his reading, "Taijutsu it is. What part of it do you want to go over? Or do you want to just spar?"

The girl was pleasantly surprised when Rhiam decided to do the taijutsu assignment with her. A quick nod of her head for reassurance, Let us go directly to sparring. I think this would be the best for the assignment. The girl was near exstatic that she hadn't scared him away, though her lack of reductionism in her linguistics must have been a bit odd. Her eyes scanned her surrounds, wondering how and where they would spar. The only previous sparring matches she had ever been in was evening wrestling with her grandfather, when he was in a pleasant mood. Then again, her grandfather would simply roll her into a ball, so her experience wasn't exactly extensive.

Rhaim continued to stand where he was while he watched the girl look about herself. He wasn't sure if she was searching for a stick to hit him with or someone to watch the match to make sure things didn't get out of hand. At any rate he didn't want to scarf her up without her getting any experience from the ordeal. So he gave her a slight push on the shoulder and replaced his hand in his pocket, "Well? Are you going to hit me or not then?"

The Nara thought back to his fight with the Uchiha, whose name he also didn't know, and decided that beating the girl down would likely happen eventually. The best way to get used to taking a punch was to get punched. However he needed her to attack him while she was fresh so that he could give her what few pointers he had and she would understand them. That didn't mean that he would let her hit him either. She still had to earn her hits.

The slight punch to her shoulder caught her off guard but also made her smile. However, there was one problem with him waiting for her to start: she had no idea what she was supposed to do. True, she could come at him with a front attack, but that would leave her open for an attack if she missed. Then again, if she made contact that would definitely be a way to get things rolling. Then there was the question of whether or not she should attack with a punch or a kick. Unfortunately, Tenma wasn't easily angered, so rage would do nothing in her favor. Maybe there was a way to sneak in a punch that would throw him off guard...now she was thinking too much.

Tenma decided to do exactly what her grandfather had instructed to her when they fought: shut up and fight. Without another hesitation Tenma brought a curled fist at the Nara's chest, which was actually a pretty tall target for her considering she was a solid foot shorter than he was. Her arm was quick but obviously untrained.

Rhaim almost shut his eyes as he waited for the girl to attack him in whatever way she felt appropriate. When she finally did throw a punch it was weak and slow, the which he pushed off to the side of his body with his right hand. The he brought up his left and reached out to tap the girl on the cheek. He had no intentions of actually hitting the girl with a full punch since she was just learning anyways. His hand stayed open so that it was more of a very small slap sting rather then a punch. He wasn't here to make her bleed. Not yet at least.

The boy let out a sigh and spoke as he withdrew his hand from her suprisingly soft skin, "When you punch like that you need to bring your other hand up to block. Also throw your hip into the punch so that your exposed side naturally turns away from the opponent."

The boy's hand barely made contact with her, but it was contact none the less. Her mouth was slightly agape as she listened to him instruct her how to properly hit someone. It was all too obvious that she had never been in a fight before. Biting her lip she nodded slightly, not exactly suer if she was supposed to try again. Thinking over the boy's instructions she nodded her head, thinking over the motion. She prayed the didn't get bored with her decide to suddenly attack.

After going through it one last time she nodded her head. You mean like this? She asked suddenly bringing her fist towards the boy's stomache, which was more at her level. Her hip came along with her arm which gave it more speed and she brought her left hand up to guard agaisnt another slap to the face.

Rhaim let out a gasp as the punch from the girl hit him much harder than he had expected. He was actually glad that his advise had helped her improve by that much though. In fact a smile even came across his face very briefly as he realised that this girl might actually fight him yet. Still trying to catch his breath brought his hands up to guard his face and midsection, hoping that she would mimic his stance. While he began to slowly step around her, "Well you're good on body shots. I know I'm taller but put one on my face next. Do everything the same, just higher."

The Nara had decided that the girls reward for landing a blow would be that he would not retalitate. However anytime she failed to connect or didn't attack at all he would tap her. In fact if she ever let up her attack he would punch her instead of tapping her.

The child was proud of her strike but now she had to strike higher. The real question was how she could do that. Miming the boy she took a stance and kept her body at a practical angle to Rhiam's. Tenma was feeling stronger, but she wondered if she was any faster. Though she was sure she was going to embarass herself there was only one person paying enough attention to know. Setting her mind she prepared herself for what would probably be a ghastly attempt.

So I need to try to hit you in the face. Her voice was a seamless blend between a statement and a question, however, she wouldn't give Rhiam a chance to respond. As quickly as she could she lept up from her stance and twisted her body to get as much momentum behind her kick as she could. While doing this she used her hands as a shield.

Rhaim would have laughed out loud at the small girl attempting such an elaborate kick so early on, if he were the laugh out loud type of guy. He was not though. So as he caught her kicking leg with his right hand he reached back under to the inside thigh of her standing leg and gave his tap to indicate her failure. As he released her leg he shook his head, "I said to punch me for a reason. Trying such fancy moves all the time leaves you wide open and they are often times ineffective. Now, hit me in the face."

Rhaim brought his hands back up to position and this time crept closer to the smaller girl. Either she would have to hit him to get him to step back or she would have to move backwards out of his way. Tactically there were advantages to both moves, however since she was so new to fighting it was in her best interest to press onward into him.
