“Tally-ho.” She grinned, and launched off, as if she was catapulted from a flight deck and coming at Ritt with the speed of a fighter plane. Nimbly she dodged the empty create with the same ease as if she was still in her Aurek and closed the distance between them. She brought the blade of her saber into action, starting her attack with a quick series of feints and jabs, almost as if she was leading a target with her guns as she probed his defenses.

"I understand," said Marr, walking closer to her and placing a hand on her shoulder. "Your service to us has been more than exemplary, a fine testament to your culture's prowess in battle. May your future endeavors be met with success. I look forward to the time when we can again work together."

"The Republic has finally retaliated for our expansion into Yag'Dhul. We figured they would eventually, but even I didn't expect it so soon. They must be monitoring our movements closer than we thought."
She walked quickly to the elevator, letting the droids on this level tend to the fighter.
"I'll have to inform Lord Marr immediately. Our forces will need reinforcements."

Melissa was already waiting for Randall and was leaning against one of the bulkheads leading into the common area of the ship. She had shed her robes in favor of her long-coat, now only half pulled on it was bunched up around her elbows allowing her long lavender hair to spill over her supple shoulders. Framing her face as it cascaded down to her waist.
Her normal black sleeveless shirt had been pulled down to it’s full length and stopped at mid-thigh. Long creamy pink legs were tucked into her boots witch she had folded the cuffs over and down exposing even more of her shapely legs. She looked up as Randall entered the room and smiled warmly at him.
“My you look handsome.” She purred sensually. Pushing off the bulkhead and walked over to him, her long-coat accenting the sway of her hips, a pleasant smile on her face. She stopped, her body a hairs breath from his, her liquid-fire eyes staring deeply into his.
Her arms snaked out, gently wrapping around him in a light embrace and she almost giggled.
“You know being in close proximity to me is inherently dangerous. Have you never head the old adage? ‘Never bring a knife to a gunfight.’” She smiled at him. “I don’t plan on getting’ into trouble, but with me one never knows.”

The flight back up from the surface was a short one, and as the sky outside the transparisteel windows turned from grey to black he felt some of his burning anger dissipate, and a cold resolve sliding in to replace the void.
Through the porthole he saw a dark shadow slid across the world's lonely sun. It's black silhoutte only marginally more visible in the light than in the darkness, the ship's hull was painted a dark violet, and the dull violet glow of it's primary weapon system in standby mode was its primary source of illumination. Batteries of guns lined it's sides and the featureless purple shade of the hull hid thousands of one directional windows. The dropship slowly slid past it's 1.2 kilometer hull, skimming its surface. As they came round the prow the great glowing maw of purple light that illuminated the ship's nose cried out it's deadly purpose. The maw was the barrel of the ship's primary weapon, a positron beam cannon. A weapon unheard of in modern combat, where solar ionization cannons and turbolasers had come to dominate the struggle against shielded opponents.
But in the experience of Seraphin Technologies, those modern shield systems fell far more quickly than most thought, and once the gleaming armored guts of the ships were exposed, that pulsing purple orb would turn bright blue as power was hurled into it and a beam of brilliant blue-white light would slice through the enemy that lay before it, no matter how strong its armor.
Slowly the dropship dipped below the hull and bobbed upward as the hangar doors of the vessel slid open, slowly the ship bobbed up and settled into it's allocated place on the hangar deck. As Bahl stepped out of the dropship Seleene followed right behind him. "You think anyone on the council will disagree with accepting this contract?"
"No," Bahl answered sternly. "FRICK wants a fight, Contraband is crying out for revenge against the Sith for their losses. As are your people and mine." He glanced back at the datapad in his hand, "I'm going to have to get mathmatician for this mission. Research and Development should have plenty of them for our Ship Building Interests."
"Lugging one around on the ground will be a challenge, your scientists aren't soldiers."
Bahl nodded, no mathematicians aren't soldiers, they know the odds of survival.

Randall had to stop himself from shivering. Melissa was unlike any woman he'd ever met, Zeltron or otherwise. She was just, well, captivating. He didn't think he was attracted to his new copilot, but everything she did captured his attention, and interested him beyond belief. She was the most interesting person he'd ever met.
"Well," he said after a second just standing there, "I guess I'd better grab my blaster." He grinned devilishly at her. "Looks like I might have to end up protecting you, and I'll need to be prepared to do that."

Marie smiled at Jakar's sarcasm as she approached Marr, then made her face serious for the business at hand.
"My lord, our forces on Yag'Dhul are under attack."
