Coming back to an empty house during your grandmother's third week in the hospital is no fun.
Especially after being informed that she can't have cheese, so you can eat the rest of her comfort food (mozzarella sticks and stoffer's mac & cheese) over the weekend.
It all seems so pathetically sad.
Follow that with freeze-dried dinner and no company except from the tv?
I need a ********' hug.

Being in the hospital is tough... it can be very lonely and awful when you're feeling like crap and no one's there. I remember when I was there for a week or so and I'd be alone it'd be sad. Although I was throwing up a lot, so it was nice no one was there for that when I was alone.

I had an adult moment today. I got off work early, and thought I would run to the store and see if I could find a new shirt for work.
Then I was thought..."Ooh...but MegaCon is next weekend. I should save for swag.
