ShinjroAragaki ... I just looked up Balut. That looks nasty O_O How can you even eat it? gonk I hardly have any idea anymore why I'm not squicked out by it. rofl Maybe it was because I kinda grew up with it. And that I'm a "don't knock it 'til you've tried it" kinda person.
Hell, I've grown used to eating chicken feet and dinuguan (pork blood stew with entrails).
It is tasty, really. Despite what it looks like. lol

Ok a couple things. (in no particular order)
1. Its a DS Lite
2. Its a laptop. Its small. The screen is small. Thin. Desktop monitor? Thick from front to back. Like I said I had my laptop on my gaming chair that has a good curve to it and the area the base of my laptop takes up on the sitting portion leaves not enough room for a full monitor. The screen is no longer attatched via hinge but the cords are still intact, therefore still somewhat attached. A desktop monitor would have no room on the chair and I have much less than a foot of space on either side of the chair. No... Room...
3. Honestly a partially developed embryo doesnt sound edible because of the presumed presence of bones. Are the bones soft enough to not be a hazard? If so I would honestly probably try it if it was served as part of a bigger dish. (plenty far from raw sweatdrop )
4. Duck abortion? 4.5/10 on the funny scale.
5. If you PM me asking then I think I have something along the lines of balut. I guess it would fall under the ummm... Squicky category?

I'm kinda like Azura--I love to try stuff, although I can't say I've ever had anything as...unique as the stuff you're describing. XD Except with really commonplace stuff, like pickles. XP
EDIT: @Neji: Okay, so I sorta skimmed that (Wall. Of. Text.) but can't you find somewhere else that's not the chair? neutral

@Never: It tastes like chi---*shot* xd No, like the meat of a full-grown duck with the flavor of a lot of yolk in it.
@Neji: Yeah, the bones are soft enough.
Why PM? Why not say it out here? razz
@Yoshi: I've heard it's a delicacy not only here in the Philippines, but also in other Southeast Asian countries. Maybe it can be found in an Asian-themed restaurant. I dunno. xd

@Azura: Whoops, almost missed that. That's a good idea, but I'm doubtfull of the success in desolate Wyoming. XP
