Ouch man... You got a monitor lying around you aren't using? I broke the screen on my dad's laptop by accident, and he just took the Monitor to our busted PC, hooked it up to the laptop, and bang. We still don't use that old piece of crap, just the laptop and the good desktop PC.

Nintendo has a habit of making weapons-grade gaming consoles.

PFFTT! *spews milk from nose*
I apologize, but that caused me to bust out laughing.
Im being stared at for it now.
Sorry about the -snicker- monitor there, Neji. D :
Maybe DS now stands for Destructive System?

@Jak - I dont exactly have much room in my well... room for a full sized screen. Its my personal notebook and I have it laying on my gaming chair because as most of the regulars here should know it is already detatched from the main body of the laptop. (both of the hinges have managed to break) So with that being said I think its a lost cause for that. However I managed to get most of the files that I need from my laptop onto a SD card. Stuff like my site log-ins... Of course when I get my new full non-notebook laptop im going to have to use your advice and go elsewhere in the house to find out what programs I had downloaded to my broken one. That way I can put them back onto my new one.
@everyone else - thanks for the jokes/joking around you definitely lifted my spirits.
@Heru - Yup my dad ALMOST sent one of our wii-motes into our living room TV... According to him he was wearing the strap, but im not so sure... Luckily (I guess) the wii-mote simply hit the ceiling and fell behind the TV.
@Rei - Yup, my Destructive System actually popped a balloon while I had it closed once. I went to bounce away a balloon my bro had sent my way with it but instead it popped it...
*This message is brought to you courtesy of everyone in the house being asleep*
(In other words, im in the living room)
EDIT: @Azura whenever you should show up - Your power was out for 17 hours? Damn... Do you know how it happened? Also you say that Balut has yet to be topped on the weirdness factor for you, (Warning to others before looking it up. Its a little... Unusual) have you ever heard of a Thousand Year Egg? (a.k.a A Century Egg)

the original neji hyuga EDIT: @Azura whenever you should show up - How long was your power out? Do you know how it happened? Also you say that Balut has yet to be topped on the weirdness factor for you, (Warning to others before looking it up. Its a little... Unusual) have you ever heard of a Thousand Year Egg? (a.k.a A Century Egg) 17 GODDAMN HOURS and it was on account of a passing typhoon. *sob* OTL
I've tried a Century Egg. It takes some getting used to (oh god the smell xd ), but it's good. And when it all burns down to it, it's really just a specially preserved egg.
With Balut...c'mon, you're really gawking at a duck embryo there. The skin is transparent, so you can see the dark eyeballs and the little bones and some veins and organs... More often than not, the embyro has also grown some down feathers too...which are still edible.
A teacher I had in high school calls it "duck abortion". xd
*crickets*

...I'm so far behind that I'm not even gonna BOTHER with attempting to catch up.
Believe it or not, Azura, I had something similar happen before. (...Just not for 17 hours. I mean, damn, that's got to be a record! :shocked smile Our power was knocked out a few days in a row (it would come in and out) as a result of Tornado Watch. That, and the time when our electricity went out for a few days because of bills, but that's another story for another day. In any case, you have my sympathy.
Neji, my sibling Taimtodie! had an issue like that happen, too. (Though, not by a nintendo device.) The lappy fell on the concrete floor, so the screen splintered, it looks like the motherboard has some problems, etc. However, we were still able to connect it to a monitor like Jak just suggested. I realize you just said that you don't have room, but if your screen (despite the hinges being busted) still was able to work for the lappy, then a different monitor should be fine for you, too. The thing I want to know it this: What kind of DS was it? The original, Lite, i, or XL?
And Jak? neji's being serious about that RP god-modding thing. He should know, lol. (says the person that wasn't here when it happened, and only knows because she read back far enough out of curiosity one day.)
