Just found this on ANN...

ADV Films Senior Vice-President of Sales and Marketing Mike Bailiff has sent an e-mail message to retailers to announce new shipping dates for a slew of titles that were removed from the company's website last month and then delayed.

Notably absent from the list are Devil May Cry and Gurren Lagann. crying crying

ADV has not provided an official explanation as to why these titles were delayed. The following is an excerpt from Bailiff's message:

As you know, a number of recent releases have been delayed. Here are new ship dates for those titles:

Update: The Right Stuf International's Shawn Kleckner notes that "Devil May Cry [Volume 1] is already shipping, so that one's out and will be replenished." Robert's Anime Corner Store reports that Bailiff "could not respond on a status for future Devil May Cry or Gurren Lagann releases but told [the store owner] that there would be further updates soon."

emo At least they'll have another updated soon? But who knows how soon it really is.. GL is another of the animes I thought about checking out being a lot of people here seemed to like it. Hopefully they'll still come up with the release for that, but if not I'd hate to have to turn to bootleg. BLEH. There's already one series I'm contemplating for that being it's not coming out here in the states. I doubt many people know about it. However, if I can somehow watch more of it before I actually got it to decide if I really do like it or not, that'd be better.

Why do you think that at the beginning of the year there was more of a want for the '07 letters? I mean, I had people fighting over them..and now the highest bid is 351k. That's 100k less than what I got on the first set about. It kind of sucks. Bart wants monies. It's probably a good thing though, because the longer I wait to sell, the more likely it's to go up in price in the future anyway.

jayp is one of the oldest of the old Anti-stickyers. He agreed with the cause, but took a more active approach toward it than most of us did at the time. His posts are well thought out, and a good read to boot.

emo The speakers started to do that weird beeping noise when a text or call will come through, but being it didn't happen long enough I didn't get either. It'll do that time to time where it just does the beeping noise for some reason but.. Damn. I was hoping it was a call. gonk

I will make up for it by honing Zely's powers and work my way up to making matching/mismatching ugly avi.

Here's a hint. You have too few extreme colors in your avatar. Find some way to get something neon green and purple in there.

Ooo..okay. I get it a little more now. It can be matching, but there has to be something in there that makes it pop and catch the eye and then make people see just how ugly the avi is. 3nodding

So, would it be kind of like what I have now? Or is it too much? I actually don't have a lot of either of those colors. gonk

There is no such thing as too much, until you overload the avatar to the point that the VictimViewers can't actually pick out each of the features.

So, does anyone here know about the shipping for the Gaia Store? I really want to get the Orly hat in time before the con but I don't see anything for shipping when I go there so I just..eh, figured I'd ask you guys.
